“In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.” This is the most read part of the Bible because it is the very first verse of the very first book of the Bible. “And the earth was without form and void….” This implies that at this moment in time the heavens were already formed and inhabited but the earth is yet to be formed. Can we find a proof in the Bible that the heavens were already formed and inhabited while the earth is yet to be formed?
Job.38:4-7
Where wast thou when I laid the foundations of the earth? declare, if thou hast understanding.
Who hath laid the measures thereof, if thou knowest? or who hath stretched the line upon it?
Whereupon are the foundations thereof fastened? or who laid the corner stone thereof;
When the morning stars sang together, and all the sons of God shouted for joy?
There were already sons of God shouting for joy when God started to lay the foundations of the earth. These sons of God are angels who were created and have been in existence before the foundation of the earth.
LUKE 20:35-36 (Revised Standard Version)
But those who are accounted worthy to attain to that age and to the resurrection from the dead neither marry nor are given in marriage,
For they cannot die any more, because they are equal to angels and are sons of God, being sons of the resurrection.
Angels and other beings like the four living creatures and the twenty-four elders are some of the inhabitants of heavens.
REVELATION 12:12
Therefore rejoice, ye heavens, and ye that dwell in them. Woe to the inhabitants of the earth and of the sea! for the devil is come down unto you, having great wrath, because he knoweth that he hath but a short time.
Moses in his inspired writing did not elaborate on how the “heavens” were created and were filled with inhabitants but something is sure: the heavens were not made in a 24-hour day period.
When God created the heavens, there were no angels yet! Logic dictates that before God created man, he prepared first his dwelling place. The heavens, which would be the abode of angels, were created first before its inhabitants. We must not forget at this juncture, that when God began forming the formless earth, the heavens were already formed and not empty!
Another thing to consider is that God had His “works of old” before He formed the heavens and the earth! This may not be known to most doctors of theology but it is written in the Bible.
PROVERBS 8:22-31
The LORD possessed me in the beginning of his way, before his works of old.
I was set up from everlasting, from the beginning, or ever the earth was.
When there were no depths, I was brought forth; when there were no fountains abounding with water.
Before the mountains were settled, before the hills was I brought forth:
While as yet he had not made the earth, nor the fields, nor the highest part of the dust of the world.
When he prepared the heavens, I was there: when he set a compass upon the face of the depth:
When he established the clouds above: when he strengthened the fountains of the deep:
When he gave to the sea his decree, that the waters should not pass his commandment: when he appointed the foundations of the earth:
Then I was by him, as one brought up with him: and I was daily his delight, rejoicing always before him;
Rejoicing in the habitable part of his earth; and my delights were with the sons of men.
One of the oldest works of God is “His earth” where He dwells with His son! Here is another Biblical logic: God worked first on His and His son’s dwelling place.
The abode of God is not our earth but “His earth,” one of His “works of old”.

Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me.
In my Father’s house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.
And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.
If the abode of God where He would dwell with His people is this earth like the claim of the Jehovah’s Witnesses, then the Lord Jesus should not have said that He will go and prepare a place for the elect and come back to receive them, that where He is, they may be also! The abode of God is a place that was created and prepared by God before the foundation of our earth.

There are those who say (like the Jehovah’s Witnesses and those of the Seventh Day Adventist Church) that the earth and the entire universe are just a little over 6,000 years old, created within seven 24-hour day period. Some even assert that God does not create gradually.

The 24-hour reckoning is just very earthly. The Earth is not the center of the universe!

It takes Bro. Eli, the most sensible preacher of this generation to make people realize that the antiquity of the earth is both scientific and biblical.
While so-called “creationists” proclaim God created the heavens and the earth, their biblical interpretation (that the earth is only about 6,000 years old) exposes the sham behind their common doctrinal machinations. The science of Geochronology has records to show of the absolute age of rocks, fossils, and sediments as old as million years or more not to mention the natural conversion/purification of carbon into diamond from beneath the earth in 2 to 3 billion years as tested and scientifically proven.
On the other hand, the so-called “evolutionists” (the scientists of frustrated kind) are into metaphysical speculations and presumptions. They cannot demonstrate or test (for conclusive scientific findings) the divine creative act in the origin of life, hence, the speculative theory of Big Bang. According to that theory, the universe, originally in an extremely hot and dense state that expanded rapidly, has since cooled by expanding to the present diluted state and continues to expand today. However, without any scientific evidence associated with the earliest instant of the expansion, the Big Bang theory cannot and does not provide any explanation for such an initial condition; rather, it describes and explains the general evolution of the universe since that instant. Those are just their interpretations.. logic dictates.. just look at the teeth or the structure of those animals… it would be very awkward to see their pointed teeth yet they are eating grass? to eat fruits or leaves you must have square teeth in front or else you cannot cut them.

Brother Eli, I’ve waited to watch today’s episode of QnA show in UK hoping to see you but you’re not there. They’ve invited another guest “expert” who also believes in young earth creationism. (But at least the new guy via Skype looks more like a doctor than the previously invited “doctor”. *hehehe*)
Those people seem well-educated but not necessarily their beliefs and claims are all true. I heard their arguments, but obviously (at least for me) they’re very confused with their own assumptions of the age of the earth and the age of human race.
At any rate, it’s still God’s words in the Bible that always prevail.

Eli is not just a preacher but a teacher, a doctor, a scientist, and a philosopher. A very-well informed man of God. He is the only sensible preacher of this dispensation, he discussed matters like this Biblically and scientifically.
The arguments I heard in Revelation Tv is very informative and very sensible. Dr. Grady has no much to Bro. Eli. Bro. Eli was not given enough time to prove his argument but he still shines in his undeniable proofs from the Bible. He was held in the height of the discussion but still injected to the listeners how the Bible speaks for itself. No one can contest the truth that earth exist billion years and not just 6000 years.

While I see we agree that God created the heavens and the earth, to those of you who state that the earth (and diamonds) is millions of years old and carbon dating has proven that…wake up! There is a huge controversy with carbon dating because certain assumtions have to be made, the main assumption being that the amount of carbon in and around the earth has been static for millions of years! Studies show, however, “radiocarbon is forming 28-37% faster than it is decaying,”2 which means it hasn’t yet reached equilibrium, which means the ratio is higher today than it was in the unobservable past (allaboutarcheology.org). The earth may well be millions of years old but carbon dating, nor any other dating method, CANNOT definitively prove that!
Interesting to note that the bulk of Hebrew scholars who have studied Genesis state that the Hebrew usage of the word “day” is in reference to a literal day as we currently understand it. The following article is taken from professor James Barr via Christiananswers.net:

One more issue: Scripture in Romans 5:12 tells us that by one man sin entered into the world and death by sin and so death spread to all men for all have sinned. How can the earth be millions of years old? To be millions of years old assumes death came BEFORE Adam and Scripture tells us that death came BECAUSE of Adam. Romans 5 makes it pretty clear when death came into the world. If then, as you say, the earth is millions of years old BUT the SCRIPTURE SAYS death came by ONE MAN, how do you reconcile the two?

The so-called scientist who believe in a ‘big bang’ theory will not just surrender even if the practical and sensible informations from Bro Eli will show that a perfect distance between planets, their axis of rotation and revolution, atmosphere, etc, can never be a result of a big bang. Explosions result in disarray, disorder, etc. very much differrent from what is existing and happening now.
The ignorant church leaders on the other hand does not understand the bible accounts and are therefore satisfied with their limited knowledge as c ompared to Bro Eli. Fossils, and other scientific proofs are evidence that the earth is much much m ore older than 6,000 milllions years, yet they want to reamin deaf and blind to the truth.
