Bro. Eli,
How dare you to tell us that your church is the real church. You don’t have any rights at all because I was there when you deliver your talks last week and it didn’t convince me at all. You are interpreting your bible in a shallow or literal meaning. All your talks are scripted and I hate to tell this but I find your talks so boring, irritating and nauseating. Sorry about that but i think you need to know this coz you are trying hard and you cannot fool people especially those educated ones and with great faith in our catholic church. Our church is not discriminatory or trying to step foot on others faith. Focus on your own followers. Respect other religion coz we are not a fool to digest all your shallow explanations.

I am very sorry to hear from you that I have no right to say that the Church of God is the true Church. For your information, Madame, it is not only the right of a person to think or to believe he is right, but it is of the highest level of sanity. Because, if you believe that you are wrong and you still have the guts to say that you are right that is the highest level of insanity — as far as my opinion is concerned.
(1 Corinthians 10:23) All things are lawful for me, but all things are not expedient: all things are lawful for me, but all things edify not.
But of course, it is a basic human right — you are entitled to your own opinion; but don’t forget mine.

The Catholic Church spearheaded the notion and claim that it is the only one true church in the world, and there is no salvation outside of it.
Others followed suit.

The true Church in the Bible never claimed that it is the true church because it does not have any feeling of guilt or insecurity. In fact, with the help of your computer, you can easily type the phrase “true church”, and instantaneously find out that there is no such term in the Bible. If I say that the Church of God is the true church because I believe in the Bible, it is my religious right; and I am not saying — and never will I — that my church is the true church (as you have accused me of), because I do not have any church of my own; only preaching the Church written in the Bible.
If you open your Bible (particularly the official Bible of the Roman Catholic Church), the church in the Bible is the Church of God.

And because it is the church which is written in the Bible, don’t I have the right to believe that it is the true church?
The official name of your church, “The Holy Catholic Apostolic Roman Church”, is not written in the Bible. It only acquired its official name in the Vatican Council of 1870. So, it is understandable that it is not the ‘true’ church in the Bible. (See reference below)
Imagine, a church that claims that it is the original, having its official name only after eighteen hundred long years!
You said “that you were bored listening to me”. I respect your right; but you see, when I also listen to sermons of priests, I am more than bored because they do not teach the Bible — but their own opinion. Want an example?
The Catholic Church, for centuries, taught its followers the existence of limbo. Millions have died believing in it; but now, your present pope declared that limbo does not exist, so, it is a mere opinion of the past popes, or its non-existence is also an opinion of the present.
Here is another opinion of your leaders, which is blatantly non-biblical. We came from apes? Biblically, we were created directly by God as humans.

Your pope now said “that there is substantial scientific proof of the theory of evolution”, which declaration proves the ignorance of your leaders regarding the Bible.

You said that, I am “trying hard, that I am fooling people”, which you did not substantiate with any evidence — biblical or outside of the Bible. For this I have to say that it is the opposite. I am not trying hard because it is very easy for me to prove that your practices in your church like, kneeling before idols, praying before idol of stones and woods are prohibited by God.

You said that “I am fooling people”, but I am not the one fooling people because I am reading to them the words of God in the Bible, but your priests do not — as often as I do!
You also said that, “our church is not discriminatory or trying to step foot on others faith.” To this, I say, as a brotherly advice to you, that you must do a little research. Your church does not only trample the rights of other faith, but executes or murders those who do not want to believe in her doctrines. To this, the late Pope John Paul II, I call as my witness.
The most disgusting of your comment is “Respect other religion coz we are not a fool to digest all your shallow explanations.” You should have said this to your leaders. I respect other’s faith, but I have to follow my God’s instruction to shout and tell people the truth.
(Isaiah 58:1) Cry aloud, spare not, lift up thy voice like a trumpet, and show my people their transgression, and the house of Jacob their sins.
I am sorry to hear from you that you “can not digest my shallow explanations”. It is your right. But if my shallow explanations can not be digested by you, the more your digestive system will be in trouble if you encounter the deeper things of God in the Bible.
(1 Corinthians 2:10) But God hath revealed them unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God.
It is the Spirit that reveals the truth of the word of God in the Bible in the heart of a man, not the explanation of anybody — including Brother Eli.
(Acts 16:14) And a certain woman named Lydia, a seller of purple, of the city of Thyatira, which worshipped God, heard us: whose heart the Lord opened, that she attended unto the things which were spoken of Paul.

I cant blame you for not understanding the word from the bible, as it was mentioned in II cor 4:4. But I think your on the right track in listening to Bro Eli’s teaching. I was a catholic for 37 BOOORRRIIIINNNNGGGG YEARS, but I am THANKFUL TO OUR GOD, that my eyes and heart was open to know the truth when I listened to Bro Eli’s program. Furthermore, do a little bit of research in your UNBIBLICAL CATHOLIC BORING DOCTRINES, before you make accusations to what Bro Eli’s teaching, we always have our basis and proof. Like you I was also a Catholic for 21 years but upon reading your comments I got so upset about your baseless and unsubstantiated accusations about Bro. Eli and the Church of God as a whole. I hope that the latest post by Bro. Eli answering your “insentitive and preposterous” comment enlighten you. The bible verses can speak for itself aside from our “witnesses”countering your words… and its quite surprising that its no less than your two popes in Vatican supplying the evidence.

Brother Eli does not teach his own but the Words of God in the Bible. (Maybe you find Bro. Eli’s preaching boring because Bro. Eli reads Bible verses from time to time unlike your catholic priests who prefer to read one or two verses then the rest is a beautiful story-telling–I know it because I was a catholic before.)
But if you reject biblical verses that Bro. Eli reads, then read this verse and then assert yourself.

I am very sorry to hear such comments for our beloved Minister of GOD,Bro. ELI Soriano. You know why?
I have been 50 years catholic and a catholic nun for more than 10 years. Our priests leaders never taught me things exactly from the bible. Even when I went to Italy for a mission. I have been two years there but never hear from the priests anything about the truth in the bible.
Now, I happen to come across the programs of Bro. Eli on TV and my burning desire to know about God in truth is kindled. Then I search for his Group and found Him. Now I am at peace and grateful to Bro. Eli because I am fulfilled as a true believer
and server of GOD.
Please ponder whatever he says because they come from God. I will assure you will never regret it but you will be forever happy for it.

I was a member of the RCC when I first heard the true teachings in the Bible from Bro. Eli. I was hurt. I was fuming mad!! I ended up believing as what happened to the early christians in Acts 2:37-41.

I am so thankful to God, ’cause I’ve found the true Church of God, (I Tim 3:15) and that I am proud to say I am a Christian, (and not like those pretending to be). For 38 years that I’ve wasted when I was still with the catholic, I’ve never seen any doctrines of your church that are biblical, that includes all your beliefs and traditions which are all just inventions . I came to know and understand that those are just false beliefs when I started listening to bro Eli. I was amazed by his teachings which are all biblically-based, unlike your priest, who bored me to death of his non-sense sermons,etc. I should be cursing you because of your false and unacceptable claims to bro Eli, but I should feel pity on you instead because you have never found the truth yet, you’re just one of the millions of people that were mislead by your false priests and pastors. I could sense the anger in your heart. I could imagine you being hurt (although not really intentional) by what you have heard from Bro. Eli. This might be because you grew up (I presume) as a devout catholic. That’s understandable.
But what you really have is a “heart” problem as it is fooling you. Do not let your heart fool you or deceive you. Yes! It is deceiving you.
(Jeremiah 17:9) The heart is deceitful above all things, and it is exceedingly corrupt: who can know it?
All these deceits and lies you have heard inside your beloved church hardened your heart and darkened your understanding.

Please heed what the bible says and harden not your heart.

Bro. Eli’s speech may not sound good to you, or maybe even appear shallow, but to us he is not lacking in knowledge and understanding like the Apostle Paul.

Like what had happened to the Lord Jesus Christ, not all can receive what Bro. Eli is saying, except for those to whom it is given.
(Matthew 19:11) But he said unto them, Not all men can receive this saying, but they to whom it is given.
Are you not wishing to be one of those privileged people who were given the understanding of the Words of God? Or, you are choosing to continue to be alienated from the life of God?
Time is not yet lost. Just open your heart.

It is very sad to hear from you and some of your blatant accusation against Bro Eli. You said brother Eli was explaining the Bible very literal. If that was only your own opinion,(not Biblical) are you willing to reveal who tought you that kind of attitude?. As you claimed, there are a lot more educated people who can explained the Bible more accurately than the person you are belittling?. Will you then cite some of them?and their contribution to you present religious affiliation?.To be fair, it is prudent not to talk so much without giving the other person the chance to explained his point Biblically.The way I see it, you have been following Bro Eli’s teaching some time now, but did not learned a thing from it, not even the basic ethics. The more you talked, the more ignorant you became to the eyes of those who reads the Bible and learning the wisdom of God through Bro Eli effort. I am once a catholic fanatic before, in fact I’m an ALTAR KNIGHT who helps the priest in his mass service. I realized later (as I constantly watch Bro Eli’s program) that my religion (catholic) is practicing against the will of GOD.

I almost shoot my expensive television set with my issued caliber .45 when I heard Bro. Eli Soriano maligning my faith.
Now I feel very ashame of myself staying Catholic for 50 years without understanding the word of GOD. It is very easy to know who are true or fake pastors.

You have your Bible. As Bro Ely speaks, look at it and read it. You can always challenge him or ask anything about your salvation and he is always ready to answer you. Can you mention any Pastor at this present dispensation doing that?

Sometimes, people opt to elevate themselve rather than be humble… like her (Lillian) althought educated as she wanted to describe, seems to be dipping herself deeply to truth. I feel sorry for Ms. Lillian Fernando. If she thinks and feels that the talks of Bro. Eli are boring and nauseating then I cannot say anything more. I am a person who cannot stay in a class or in a meeting if I feel I will not be able to get anything, any intelligent, sensible or even entertaining things from the speaker or my professors back in college. But when I heard Bro. Eli, in his 4-hour program, I can’t seem to get enough of it. I loved it and still loving the things he is preaching from the Bible.
In all my years of existence, I have never heard of anyone explain the contents of the bible within the bible the way Bro. Eli does. “Nobody does it better….”, as the song goes, more particularly in this dispensation.
So to Ms. Fernando, we truly hope that the next time you listen to Bro. Eli, please be objective and I am sure you will realize that what he is saying are the words of God, nothing more, nothing less…the way God wants it to be said.

Thank you for your letter to Brother Eli. It only shows how deplorable the Catholic Religion is because it cannot defend its doctrine that the poor members are forced to do so. As you can see now, Brother Eli does not open his mouth without proof and evidence to support his stand unlike your letter that accuses our leader without a shred of evidence. Everything that he reads comes out of the Bible and yet you do not want to believe. You could be the manifestation of the prophecy in Daniel 12:9. May God have mercy on your soul.

God loves people and He wants us all to be saved. what hinders however is our own beleifs brought by false teachings being taught and fed unto us while we were still young. The bible clearly tells us that it is wrong to kneel unto idols. That alone makes the catholic church overly erroneous .
All of us commit sins, but if we repent and humbly bow down before God, then He will lead us to the right path. It happened to me and it will also happen t to you if you subject yourself to HIM.
thanks bro. eli for giving the bible and the word of GOD more enlightment. i mean true meaning of every word spoken by GOD. if only people understand the covenant of GOD, there will be no sinners in this world. the ten commandments of GOD is the whole essence of the holy bible. every commandment written is equal to times 10×10x10×10…..so on, of every passages in the bible. understanding the true meaning is somewhat pagan in every culture unless otherwise you have to hit the nail on his head. we have a lots of nail lying around and get rusted. somehow a carpenter like you must redirect it and nailed it in the proper place to build the house of our lord. you are a true carpenter of the house of God and finish it before the endtime begin. you are also a fisher of GOD for fishing those lost fishes in the vast ocean of wilderness to put them in the ponds and river of paradise and a sheppered who collected the lost sheep in the vast wooden mountain of wrongdoing to put them in the plain proper right of attitude and faith. lastly, continue every effort to guide every soul who are asleep in slumbering cold of evil darkness to awaken to the call of salvation in the true word of GOD and jesus christ…..amen

i was a catholic then and through research,i submitted my self to Church of God International under the ministry of Bro.Eli. i fully realized that the teaching of Bro.Eli not came from himself but from the spirit of God. i knew what’s in your heart of being a catholic believer but opening your heart will lead you to the truth which the bible offer inbehalf of Bro.Eli.

i heard the preachings of bro eli at the young age of 17. at that time, i was studying in a catholic university and active in attending Roman Catholic church services, from a regular mass to even novenas and holy hour…spending hours and hours kneeling in front of an idol, saying rosaries, attending processions and the like… hoping that i might find peace. to no effect… never did i… i still felt incomplete. so i prayed to God to show me the true church… then i started finding myself biblically educated everytime i hear the programs hosted by bro eli…
unlike you, my first time to attend a gathering of the Church of God, i felt like i was brought to the day like what is described in the bible. by just hours of listening live to the preaching of bro eli was way beyond those 17years spent in the Roman Catholic Church. i learned alot. and the teaching is not shallow… there are mysteries revealed every time we are gathered and we thank God for giving those to us through our beloved bro. eli

Loobin po, after reading all the articles posted by Bro. Eli… your heart will be opened. I sympathized with your peredicament because we were raised in a religion (me, for 32 years) where the Bible were used by the our FALSE preacher as theIR front (nagpapanggap na mga banal) to deceive us but actually them, not heeding to, even to the most BASIC teachings of our Lord Jesus Christ… please read:
Matthew 23:8-9 But be not ye called Rabbi: for one is your Master, even Christ; and all ye are brethren.
9 And CALL NO MAN YOUR FATHER upon the earth: for one is your Father, which is in heaven.
It is also a provision in the bible for (unlearned) woman to keep silent if she doesn’t know what is talking about.
Ma’m, WE LOVE YOU,so please… open you mind, open your eyes, especially…. your HEART.
