Common sense is logical and biblical
Common sense is defined in the dictionary as sound and prudent judgment based on a simple perception of the situation or facts.
Facts:
1. The Lord Jesus Christ established a church. (Mt.16:18)
2. He taught the apostles his teachings. (Mt.28:20)
3. His teachings came from the Father (Jn.7:16)
4. Rejecting His teachings is rejecting Christ himself and the Father. (Jn.12:48)
Hence, no man in his right senses can say that the Lord Jesus Christ is non-sensible and illogical! Part of his teachings tells us that a preacher must be sensible.
I TIMOTHY 3:2 (MODERN KING JAMES VERSION)
Then it behooves the overseer to be without reproach, husband of one wife, temperate, sensible, well-ordered, hospitable, apt at teaching,
The Lord Jesus Christ is without doubt the most sensible preacher of all times!
1. He established a church!
MATTHEW 16:18
And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.
Is it necessary for Jesus Christ to establish a church? Logically it is, and so He would! It follows that one is illogical if he does not accept the importance of the church. How did Christ regard the church? He loved it and gave his life for it.
EPHESIANS 5:25
Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it;
In human terms, Christ can be said to be the Church’s better half! It will grossly be against common sense and logic if one says that the church is not important to salvation. While Jesus Christ is the Savior, He is going to save the church.
EPHESIANS 5:23
For the husband is the head of the wife, even as Christ is the head of the church: and he is the savior of the body.
Which is the body?
COLOSSIANS 1:18
And he is the head of the body, the church: who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead; that in all things he might have the preeminence.
Are there illogical people who, in the absence of common sense, say that the church is not needed for salvation? Here are some of them.

C. Apollo C. Quiboloy
2. The church is a part of His teachings!
The word “church” appears 76 times in the New Testament of the King James Version of the Bible, 73 times in the Revised Standard Version, 77 times in the Catholic Authorized Version or the Douay-Rheims Version, 74 times in The American Standard Version, 73 times in the Codex Sinaiticus in English Translation and 86 times in the newly translated Good News Bible of the Catholic and the Protestant.
The above statistics sustain the fact that the church is a vital teaching of Christ and the New Testament!
It is not true that the church age has ended like what Harold Camping and Apollo Quiboloy say. The church was intended by God to be the proclaimer of his wisdom until eternity.
EPHESIANS 3:10-11
10 To the intent that now unto the principalities and powers in heavenly places might be known by the church the manifold wisdom of God,
11 According to the eternal purpose which he purposed in Christ Jesus our Lord:
At the end of this age, the church will be presented to Himself blameless.
EPHESIANS 5:27
That he might present it to himself a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish.
Anybody therefore who says that the church age has ended is a liar!
3. The teachings of the Lord Jesus came from the Father.
JOHN 7:16
Jesus answered them, and said, My doctrine is not mine, but his that sent me.
4. Rejecting the teachings of Christ is rejecting the Father! That’s the logic of it and that has biblical basis!
JOHN 13:20
Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that receiveth whomsoever I send receiveth me; and he that receiveth me receiveth him that sent me.
LUKE 10:16
He that heareth you heareth me; and he that despiseth you despiseth me; and he that despiseth me despiseth him that sent me.
And most importantly: Rejecting the teachings of Christ (part of which is extensively about the church) is rejecting Christ himself.
JOHN 12:48
He that rejecteth me, and receiveth not my words, hath one that judgeth him: the word that I have spoken, the same shall judge him in the last day.
Conclusion:
It is therefore a heap of stupidity to say the least that the church is not necessary for salvation!
Is there salvation outside the church established by the Lord Jesus Christ?

Using the sorites argument, Bro. Eli proved that the Church is relevant to salvation. Then by method of difference, he showed that religious leaders who claim the church is irrelevant are false. Therefore, Bro. Eliseo Soriano is a certified logician!

Did you think that some church or sect are always manifest that they has a true body of Christ but look their attitudes the way they speak, their boastfulness, not to have patients, not to Love their people by always criticizing; instead to pray for them? Some of those are Hippocrates. Did you think that if u Love Christ you always love the people around you? Absolutely, Yes the way of concerning to always praying for them. Not by own will to criticize but by the way God justified us when he died on the Cross. Read John 3: 16 any version because I believe that all translation are absolutely correct.
“born again” fanatics (or hypocrites) really know so little, and would rather be deceived by businessmen pastors whom the Bible call greedy dogs (Isa. 56:11).
Romans 12:9 >> Let love be without dissimulation. Abhor that which is evil; cleave to that which is good.
Fake love is when you don’t tell the people you love that they are being fooled, as in the case of fake flight agencies recruiting people to abroad. We must expose their anomalies.
1 Cor. 13:4-8 >> Love… it does not rejoice at wrong, but rejoices in the right…
That is true love. The bad thing is that most people prefer being fooled and hypocrisy of their pastors than showing true love. Even CHRIST attacked the scribes and Pharisees who are also hypocrites like the “born again” pastors. CHRIST showed us true love, which Bro. Eli is imitating.
Don’t worry, we are taught to always pray for our fellowmen who are being deceived by “greedy dogs”. And GOD is listening to our prayers, as evidenced by the increasing number of brethren daily, as in overseas.

Those so-called preachers who proclaim the irrelevance of church to salvation are certainly those false prophets who are apparently referring to churches other than the Church of God which, for purposes of salvation was established by Christ according to the Bible.
Among those churches which are biblically deemed not only irrelevant but anathema to salvation are as follows:
1. The church which cannot do away with inherent attitude of paganism (idol worship practice) and passionate with repetitive prayers not relevant to ground situation. (Catholic church)
2. The church which teaches that salvation is not earned by good deeds but received only as a free gift of God’s grace through mere faith in Christ. Nevertheless this church demands from members the “good deed” of giving 10% tithes. (Protestant and Born Again churches)
3. The church that totally deprive Jesus Christ of His Divinity. (Iglesia ni Manalo)
4. The church whose leader is shameless with his multiple failures when it comes to penchant for his “end of the world” predictions. (Ministry of Harold Camping alias Ka Amping)
5. The so called Kingdom headed by alleged “appointed son of god”. (Kingdom of Apollo Quiboloy).
6. Many others.
We must be aware that above mentioned churches are propagating doctrines different from that of Christ as written in the bible. Hence, we are better off without those churches in our midst and their absence would mean better chance for our salvation as they are bound to just mislead our souls.
On the other hand, Bro. Eli, in this article is referring to the biblical Christian Church which he, as usual is able to present with incontrovertible biblical evidences. This is the biblical Church of God whose doctrine is of God and by being able to follow His biblical words; the followers would find “belongingness” in it. This is the Church which is relevant to salvation and in this Church, the true Christians belong.
What is the difference about Church which is the people walk with Christ, and the Religion? What is the difference among of them? We need a hard time to receive salvation? we think that people has a power to receive salvation by do their “good deeds” or by his Faith? So that we can considered that the good deeds is the fruit of our Faith and true acceptance of Jesus Christ and by receiving his Holy Spirit we do the good deeds. The fact is Faith in Christ Jesus is the real root of good deeds by accepting him., And I have a question it is really necessary to have a arguments by criticizing others people wrong why we don’t see our selves as a mirror if we our have a good attitudes and have a faith in Jesus Christ. Do you think that these people are Righteous?
Of course, it is really necessary and a must to correct (2 Tim. 3:16) those fools who are worshiping not the true God in the bible. If you are a “real” Christian you must worship the real Jesus Christ, because many false preacher nowadays claiming that they are of Christ (Matt. 24:5) but the truth is they are not of Christ by observing their deeds and teachings. You should know brother that true love rejoices in the truth (1 Cor. 13:6) and so, it means that if you reveal the stupidity of those religions mention above is love to them. We should love all people, even our enemies. What we must hate is those erroneous doctrine taught by the greedy dogs (Isa. 56:11). because lots of people are deceive, but some of them chose darkness rather than the light (Jo. 3:19) Of course we sin (1 Jo. 1:8) but there are sin not to death (1 Jo. 5:17 ) and the other way around. What we must avoid is mortal sin against God. Being Godly is useless unless you worship the true God, the creator of everything that has life.

Is the teaching of Christ about baptism coming from John the Baptist? If so… it is true that Jesus entered the religion of John the Baptist through baptism and learned his teaching and taught it to his apostles. Can you detect the similarity of the verses? The Dead Sea Scrolls are works of the Essenes believed to be the early Christians. They started the monastic life which catholic monks today are doing.

The word catholic is not even present in the scripture.You call catholic church members as christian well that is a great insult to christians. Yes many in our Church can answer you, GOD commanded Christians about that.(1 Peter 3:15). But I strongly suggest that you just ask, or try to ridicule with your reasoning, Bro. Eli because not all of us are good in explaining, I admit I’m included in that. But we are sure of ourselves that we understand the real point, although we find it hard to explain to others like you. We can always try with GOD’ help but I believe my suggestion will be the best. In this case, if you are the one correct, then you will have the chance to save us all from damnation, if you prove Bro. Eli wrong; a way of showing love to your fellowmen. I am not an intelligent compared to people who are here. But I just opened my mind and emptied my cup and then I understood what Bro. Eli said. A very comforting teaching from the Bible.

There is no point of discussion, it is a fact, the church is relevant to salvation. We have to qualify of course, what and which church. As proofs and evidence will show, the Church is the CHURCH OF GOD mentioned in the Bible. People and fake Preachers who claim to be Christian are LIARS. How can they be Christians when their doctrines and way of life are all against the teachings of Jesus Christ. I agree with Truthhuntsman that the churches and personalities he mentioned are not to be believed, they are using the Bible and their churches t enrich themselves and get a hold on society, government officials, business, etc., all for their personal interest.

Here, apostle Paul clearly states “saved (past tense) through faith”. It’s not of our good deeds, you help the poor? you don’t lie? yeah, that is man trying to reach out for God, but God’s way is He trying to reach to people that whoever accept His gift, whoever believes in His Son should not perish but have everlasting life.

This would be backed up by John 14:6
