This is a response to the questions posted on: www.godisimaginary.com
May it be understood by my readers that I am answering questions even of imaginary people,. to give them the benefit of the doubt, on the presumption that other mislead people who has brain enough to understand, might be having the same question. Of course, I will be using the Bible as the main authority for my answers, because I believe in the God who said these words. The questions go like these:
“Why are there so many starving people in our world?”
“Why would a loving God be worried about someone getting a raise; while at the same time, ignoring the prayers of the ‘desperate’ and the ‘innocent’ children?”
The question is being asked to intelligent and educated Christians. I do not claim that I am an intelligent, nor an educated Christian having any college degree, but I am a Christian, and I am proud to be one! As much as they are expecting answers from intelligent Christians, we must presume that these people are also intelligent. And if they are intelligent, using only 5-15 percent of their brain power, they should have discovered the fact and the true reason why there are so many starving people on our world today. Is it not foolishness to blame an imaginary God, whom they think does not exist, for the starvation of countless people in the world? If they are intelligent, which I perceive they are not, and considering that they believe in science and statistics, and they do not believe in God, it will be intelligent, fair, and just to look for scientific reasons and realities, rather than blaming God which they believe does not exist. Foolish, is it not? But I do not wonder because there really are foolish people; and these are those that do not believe in the existence of God.
(Psalms 53:1) “The fool hath said in his heart, There is no God. Corrupt are they, and have done abominable iniquity: there is none that doeth good.”
Statistics tells us that there are now about eight hundred million starving and malnourished people on earth.
World Hunger and Poverty: How They Fit Together
• 854 million people across the world are hungry, up from 852 million a year ago.

Also, more than one billion people who are overfed and obese.

This simple research (simple because you can just ‘google’ it or you can just even ‘stumble upon’ it) tells us the scientific fact why there are so many children that starve to death. Instead of blaming God, which to them is imaginary, they should have posted an appeal in the internet to people who, like them, do not believe in God because God said that believers should feed the hungry, give drink to the thirsty, clothe the naked, and be compassionate to the plight of the poor.
(Matthew 25:32-41) “And before him shall be gathered all nations: and he shall separate them one from another, as a shepherd divideth his sheep from the goats: And he shall set the sheep on his right hand, but the goats on the left. Then shall the King say unto them on his right hand, Come, ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world: For I was an hungred, and ye gave me meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me drink: I was a stranger, and ye took me in: Naked, and ye clothed me: I was sick, and ye visited me: I was in prison, and ye came unto me. Then shall the righteous answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungred, and fed thee? or thirsty, and gave thee drink? Or when saw we thee sick, or in prison, and came unto thee? And the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me. Then shall he say also unto them on the left hand, Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels…”
Even enemies of a believer should be taken care for.
(Matthew 5: 44) “But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you…”
And in Romans 12:20 “Therefore if thine enemy hunger, feed him; if he thirst, give him drink…”
Had they believed God, not one person on earth would starve to death. The conclusion is: Why are there so many starving people on earth? The answer is: Because of those people who do not believe in God — like YOU!
Greed in money, wealth, power, and everything earthly is the cause of all evil in this world. It is not God’s fault.
(1 Timothy 6:10-11) “For the love of money is the root of all evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows. But thou, O man of God, flee these things; and follow after righteousness, godliness, faith, love, patience, meekness.”
It is unfair and impertinent to blame God which, for you, does not exist. Why not rather look for reasons behind realities? It only takes one man, it will not need two (2) to feed and house all these unfortunate people. The richest man on earth, or even the second richest man, if he acts in compliance with God’s commandment can alleviate the sufferings of all poor people on earth!
According to recent statistic, the earth can sustain the needs of 10 billion people at a time; and that idea comes from an intelligent and real God.

(Genesis 1:27) “So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them. And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.”
In conclusion, I appeal to my readers for prayers so that these people may be enlightened, and be more intelligent and smart (more, if they have some) to act and think scientifically with prudence; not to blame somebody which, for them, does not exist and imaginary. And find ways to feed and clothe one of those starving children on earth.

And to those who do not believe in God, I have one question for you … How can you blame someone who, for you, does not exist? Now that is stupid.
When people blame God, they do not blame ‘him’, they blame those who justify unrightful things in his name…they blame the problems that his figurative invention has caused people to create…why can’t we all be good people because it’s moral and good? Why do we have to be good because God says so? What are we, 5 year olds behaving because we’re afraid of being punished? If, hypothetically speaking, God was proven to not exist, would you still be a good person? Or would this demotivate you? AKA: YOU DO NOT HAVE TO BE RELIGIOUS TO BE A GOOD PERSON. Theres only few people in earth have the heart to feed and clothe the starving children/people who do it heartfully, Some pretenders (i.e. Religios Group) clame that they help this people, but the truth is they just do it for popularity, and that people may know that they are kind and good, but deep inside is a face of clown. Why do i say so? after the program which only last for one day, they go to other places of the same people, but what happen on the previous starving people? they are starving. The only religion i know that really help this people, keeping their hand at reach is Church of God lead by Bro. Eli Soriano. Keep on reaching people all over the earth!!!
There’s really no one who can feed the spiritual starving people with God’s word from the bible, except from bro. Eli Soriano. Why? no other preacher in the word has the way of preaching of bro. Eli, simply because there is only one Gods sent preacher to preach the word of God in one generation, and simply because Gods wisdom accompany him.

Please come up with your own conclusions before unconditionally taking in those of others. There are starving children in the world not because of people who don’t believe…but because of people who lack MORALITY…and they exist among believers and non-believers. I know many believers who are good because it’s what God says…they me “if you don’t believe in God, why don’t you go around killing people?” Why? Because I’m a good person. People who are physically and spiritually starving need not fear. GOD thru HIS Messenger Bro Eli and Bro Daniel are doing everything to show to others how to help the less fortunate and the poor. However there were still times that I can’t help but question God why such painful things or hardships is happening to me, I know that I don’t have any right to question God because I always believe that He will not allow such things to happen for no purpose and that purpose is for my own sake. God works in mysterious ways, sometimes it is much better to just let Him take care of our lives than to live the other way around. Because God’s promises cannot be broken. This is the core reason why everytime I tend to question God or feel unfair about what’s happening to me, I hold on to his words, and believe that He’ll not forsake me.

Ministering to the world is the most important task we have been given as christians, and tackling questions like these is difficult but vital. However, insulting the intelligence of nonbelievers is only going to shut them off to the message of Christ. I would hope that as a community Christians would act more like Christ, after all, isn’t that the point! WHy don’t we try embracing others as we minister to them rather than insulting them? WE ARE ALL SINNERS…WE HAVE ALL FALLEN SHORT OF THE GLORY OF GOD…INSULTING NONBELIEVERS IS A SIN.
One question…if non-believers agreed to ‘cooperate’ with believers for the sake of morality and humanity without the notion of God ANYWHERE…would you agree????? Are you being good just because it’s good or because you want to convert non-Christians?

Let me start out by saying that I am a Christian and I don’t think you answered the question very effectively. That is, if I were not already a Christian you wouldn’t have swayed my opinion. By saying non-Christians are responsible for world hunger because God’s command is to feed the hungrey insults the hundreds of millions of non-believers who work to fight hunger as well. To supposed Bill Gates could single-handedly fix world hunger is a laugh. He could for perhaps weeks or months and then he’d be broke as well and hunger would rage on.
The information on the vegan website is more effective. If people ate grains and veggies instead of meats, the land used to craze cattle for meat ingestion could feed the world. But you left that out.
The question in everyone’s mind is if God promises that you don’t have to worry about clothing or food, yet millions starve to death each year, then why? Obviously God knows that Bill Gates and you and I aren’t going to give up all our possessions to feed the hungrey, yet he promises that none will go without their basic needs. The godisimaginary website doesn’t blame this on God, but they do say if you believe in the word of God in the bible he clearly isn’t fullfilling it.
In the old testament he sent manna from heaven to feed his flock. They truly didn’t have to worry about their next meal (of course they did anyway). Why not a similar program today? The poor Ethiopian kids with swollen stomachs would probably love to wake up to some food.
What about healing? The bible says if anyone among you is ill, have the priest pray for him and the elders sprinkle you with oil and you will be cured. Guess what? Millions have tried it and it didn’t work. Why? I’m not trying to make a mockery of Christianity, but these are the hard questions I get asked everyday as a Christian and would love to see some decent answers apart from blaming the non-believers. I know very few “vegan” Christians. We’re no more part of the solution than the non-believers.
Anyway, I’m sure you can do way better than to put the blame back on the non-believer for world hunger. The last non-Christian that asked me that question worked for the food bank.
then what about the free education – where tuition, uniform , books, dorm room is given for free?can other congregation provide it? yes others can provide but with
limitation you still have to pay.
How about the transient center that gives free stay and free food to both and accept non-members and non-believers? can other congregation provide provide it? maybe there is/are but limited only to members –
how about the daily free medical mission? can others provide it? yes, but not daily.
how about the home for the aged and for the widows and widower? can other congregation provide for their members? yes maybe — i wont talk about this i might get busted by someone :p
how about the free educational bus and the free bus ride? can other congregation provide? there is but it’s own by a school and not by a congregation, maybe there are others out there but i haven’t heard of it
then the payment for the worldwide use of the transmission broadcasting — too expensive scary — the amount to be paid is sooo oh my God will make you faint
the free bible and free meal to everybody who attend the exposition? can other congregation be able to feed such numbers of people??? if there is they wont give free meals they wont give free bibles they will just let then in but never feed them, and even ask them ka-ching!
the church of God was able to maintain providing for all of it’s members and to others who are in need — can other congregation do this? i don’t think so! they will get bankrupt in a blink of an eye

I believe that this two questions are signs that they (the person who make the question and the people he/she is referring to, the starving and that “desperate and innocent children”) believe in God and they are just looking for truthful answers. They are all hungry and thirsty for truth… We are all loved by God and are blessed equally… People who are abundant in money and food and everything in this world are there; these starving, desperate and innocent children are there… to build, to share, to give LOVE, JOY, HOPE… Richness is made, poverty is made for us all to learn and realize the PURPOSE of God WHY both are made… God works in mysterious ways! There is no one to be praise but the Higher Power! We are all made with love… Let us be thankful that we have feeling about both, and merciful love we can offer to those BOTH… because both rich people and hungry with material things to exist on Earth needs love and prayers from us all who understand and believe that there is God!
One reason why world peace is absolutely impossible is believers always condemn non- believers as fools and pervert because even if they do the same charity and humanitarian works, just because you’re not of the same christian sect or religion, you are not reliable as human to be righteous as them…i still believe, God knew who has a good heart and good deeds regardless of your religion. Bro. eli is a humble preacher, but i find his followers more than him arrogantly speaks against people whose not of their same faith. Just because you’ve learn a lot from him, please at least, don’t act or try to speak like a too perfect converted human being. It doesnt show being christian at all.
people seemed to be deaf with their own feelings,, they are just pretending themselves even though they were hurt. trials make man to be matured enough,, they help man to look for a solution of there problems. they were blaming God for the bad things happen on them because they have luck of faith to God. god, never left us He just test us how dept was our faith to Him. never get bored nor surrender because God never surrender us. he offer His life for us in order that we will save from our sins.
i noticed that they blame God for their misery when they ask and praise some statue — they should blame their statue not God
