There are things physical that are collateral with things spiritual in the vast wisdom of God in the Scriptures. The Greek word used is “πολυποίκιλος”polupoikilos, which simply means diverse, multifarious, variegated.
EPHESIANS 3:10
To the intent that now unto the principalities and powers in heavenly places might be known by the church the manifold wisdom of God,
This wisdom was manifest from the simplest to the most intricate forms of creation!
PSALMS 104:24
O LORD, how manifold are thy works! in wisdom hast thou made them all: the earth is full of thy riches.
Physicists may in one way or the other appreciate and understand such wisdom from the physical side of creation but unfortunately most of them do not consider the spiritual.
COLOSSIANS 1:16
For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him:
To understand the things spiritual we must understand the collateral physical of it.
JOHN 3:12
If I have told you earthly things, and ye believe not, how shall ye believe, if I tell you of heavenly things?
The intent of the Lord Jesus Christ in teaching or explaining things physical is for people to realize the spiritual side of it. Just like in the case of food, there is a saying devised through human experience that goes, “The nearest way to a man’s heart is through his stomach.” This may sound true, but spiritual food, in the dimension of expressed or written words, goes directly to the heart – unlike physical food.
MATTHEW 15:17
Do not ye yet understand, that whatsoever entereth in at the mouth goeth into the belly, and is cast out into the draught?
The verse above speaks of the route of physical food: to the mouth, into the belly and out.
Conversely, the spiritual does not enter through the mouth but through the ear!
JOB 34:3
For the ear trieth words, as the mouth tasteth meat.
And goes directly to the heart.
The route then of spiritual food is: through the ear to the heart.
PSALMS 119:11
Thy word have I hid in mine heart, that I might not sin against thee.
Thus, the physical collateral has its spiritual primary – truth and its inherent wisdom.
To exemplify, nature has it that in the physical realm the sources of light that illuminate the earth shine from the east. Both the sun and the moon shine from the east!
GENESIS 1:14-19
14 And God said, Let there be lights in the firmament of the heaven to divide the day from the night; and let them be for signs, and for seasons, and for days, and years:
15 And let them be for lights in the firmament of the heaven to give light upon the earth: and it was so.
16 And God made two great lights; the greater light to rule the day, and the lesser light to rule the night: he made the stars also.
17 And God set them in the firmament of the heaven to give light upon the earth,
18 And to rule over the day and over the night, and to divide the light from the darkness: and God saw that it was good.
19 And the evening and the morning were the fourth day.
From the east also, in parallel manner as the rising of the sun will the spiritual primary rise – the sun of righteousness and truth!
MALACHI 4:2
But unto you that fear my name shall the Sun of righteousness arise with healing in his wings; and ye shall go forth, and grow up as calves of the stall.
MALACHI 1:11
For from the rising of the sun even unto the going down of the same my name shall be great among the Gentiles; and in every place incense shall be offered unto my name, and a pure offering: for my name shall be great among the heathen, saith the LORD of hosts.
Hence, the incense prophesied in the Malachi verse is not the physical incense of the Catholic Church. It refers to something of a higher dimension being offered to the name of God in the prophecy – the prayers and praises of the people of God.
REVELATION 5:8(RSV)
And when he had taken the scroll, the four living creatures and the twenty-four elders fell down before the Lamb, each holding a harp, and with golden bowls full of incense, which are the prayers of the saints;
Likewise, the saints offering incense or prayers are not saints of the Catholic Church but members of the Church of God.
I CORINTHIANS 1:1-2
1Paul called to be an apostle of Jesus Christ through the will of God, and Sosthenes our brother,
2Unto the church of God which is at Corinth, to them that are sanctified in Christ Jesus, called to be saints, with all that in every place call upon the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, both theirs and ours:
Thus, the true preaching of salvation will originate from the east and going forward to the west, never from the west to the east – as the Lord has declared in these several passages.
ZECHARIAH 8:7
Thus saith the LORD of hosts; Behold, I will save my people from the east country, and from the west country;
These are because the people of God will exist at the time of the end according to the prophecy. And it is among these people – from the east – where the wise will come from.
DANIEL 12:4, 9-10
4But thou, O Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book, even to the time of the end: many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall be increased.
9And he said, Go thy way, Daniel: for the words are closed up and sealed till the time of the end.
10 Many shall be purified, and made white, and tried; but the wicked shall do wickedly: and none of the wicked shall understand; but the wise shall understand.
The wise who will understand the prophecy will be instrumental in turning many to righteousness which group will form the people of God at the time of the end! These wise men will originate from the east; because they will shine as the “brightness of the firmament.”
DANIEL 12:3
And they that be wise shall shine as the brightness of the firmament; and they that turn many to righteousness as the stars forever and ever.
Remember that the lights that illuminate the earth shine from the east!
Earlier, we said understanding the physical requires a reckoning with the spiritual because God’s wisdom is vast. We cannot emphasize this enough.
In the past passages as in this verse of Daniel’s book, we note that the physical collateral (wise men) and the spiritual primary (sun of righteousness) reflect upon each other as sureties or warrants. Where one is, the other is sure to be present.
For this we are ever grateful to God Almighty, because He had willed that this group be formed from the east exactly at the time of the end as prophesied by the Bible! AMEN!

Saying that the Roman Catholic is the true church is no different to saying the sun rises from the west. If that is to follow, the rule of nature and rule of Biblical truth will be jeopardized. However, believing that the organization presided by Bro. Eli, which started from east to west, is of God never compromised. Bro. Eli proved the clear Biblical foundation of his faith in which no other man can alter. Only the power of God can initiate putting a group from east then goes to west – that route is something that the clergy cannot amend forever.

There are some who believes that it’s Jesus who will flash from the East to the West. But who is that Jesus that they knew? Some believed and others taught that they should always go to the west and not face the East.They believed that looking at the east is looking at the eastern human beliefs and tradition. But they do not know the Lord Jesus Christ who warned of the coming of the anti-Christs, even already existing in St. Paul’s time. Likewise these ignorants failed to be guided by the Holy Spirit and thought that like in the past, like the wise men going westward, they will find the Star, while leaving their eastern beliefs behind. Thus, the conflict whether the church is in the West or in the East.
I learned that we should first know who the true Lord Jesus Christ is and what The Church of God is that shall be known from the East to the West in the last times, and when this should most likely to happen, when knowledge increased and men run to and fro, in the perilous times.
I am even amazed and excited that questions and reactions coming from the Catholics are that timely that they are left whether choice to remain ignorant or accept that it is high time to leave their Mother Church who has been teaching paganism and the like.

i think its a wrong analogy bro eli. what was compared is obviously about stars of heaven and not the singularly sun as coming from the east bec it was emphasized, not as the sun but as stars that turn many to righteousness.
though the sun is part of it but the verse spoke generally of stars.
stars, are everywhere, logically they dont come from the east. simultaneously, they shine as darkness falls.

This is my analogy on the above mentioned verse (pls correct me Bro. Eli if mine is wrong), the wise men will shine as the brightness of the firmament so as Sun come from the east and give light to Earth , and they that turn many to righteousness as the stars forever and ever (as to numbers and as to light of the stars they were both compared).
In that verse, wise men is compared to Sun and its illuminating factor and it shine from the east. Scientist says that Sun is growing brighter everyday so as to Bro. Eli’s preaching, its getting brighter and brighter, thanks be to God for that.

Indeed, the Bible is an exact science. The sun rises at due east and sets at due west (scientific fact: factor on the eastward rising of the Sun is the Earth’s rotation. The earth rotates on its axis on a west to east direction as it revolves around the sun. This makes us see that the Sun is moving westward across the sky until it sets). Although it is tiring to spread the gospel specially to those who are hard-hearted and hard-headed people, Bro. Eli is task to do so, it is his obligation to God Almighty to do HIS will. It just like you are teaching pupils that had never know how to read or write, but in the process, little by little, they learned. The same with preaching, when they hear the gospel at once, they might not believe, in second, in third, maybe not also, but if God intervene and HE see that you are looking for HIM, HE may open your heart to accept the gospel that you have heard many times. Actually it was happened to me, I heard Bro. Eli’s preaching for more than 7 years, but I only recognized it at 8th year. I think, if Bro. Eli stop preaching what he is preaching now, I maybe still kneeling on the idols of catholics, poor soul of mine. So since we still have time to help Bro. Greizc there are things that a preacher has to do and that is to preach the gospel of God in all corners of the world and by doing so, touching other religion’s doctrines are inevitable. There are people in some other parts of the world that has to be taught, so Bro. Eli has to repeat the simple truth.

@Sinyogi, if that is how the way you perceive it, I am giving you the benefit of the doubt, but surely you cannot refute that you have erroneously used that verse (2Tim. 2:14) in its very context. However, for us being taught in the Church of God, I perceived it as not being uncertain, but I am looking at it in the perspective of a Christian, by giving my leaders Brother Eli and Brother Daniel the due respect to correct my understanding because I may not able to completely absorb all their Biblical lectures.
Again @sinyogi, you pick and mix, you are “erroneously” using 1Thessalonians 5:21 and Philippians 3:16 in its true context. You are simply combining verses to “sound like” Brother Eli is no exception to the rule that he must be subjected to the test by the members.
In the church, it is illogical for member to prove or test the words of the leaders entrusted by God with the gospel. It may sound self-serving for other but it is Biblical. Why is that?
• The mouth speaks out of the abundance of the heart (Matthew 12:34).
• It is God who proves or test the hearts of His entrusted preachers of the gospel (1Thes.2:4).
(1Thessalonians 2:4 KJV) But as we were allowed of God to be put in trust with the gospel, even so we speak; not as pleasing men, but God, which trieth our hearts.
• The spiritual man is subject to no man for judgment, evaluation or testing (1Cor.2:14-15)
(1Cor. 2:14-15 KJV) But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned. But he that is spiritual judgeth all things, yet he himself is judged of no man.
(1Co 2:14-15 ISV) A person who isn’t spiritual doesn’t accept the things of God’s Spirit, for they are nonsense to him. He can’t understand them because they are spiritually evaluated. The spiritual person evaluates everything but is subject to no one else’s evaluation.
• We are not better than God who can search the hearts (Jer.17:9-10; Luke 16:15; Jn.2:23-25).

• Taking Philippians 3:16 in its context, and not just simply pick & mix, the “rule” which was mentioned by Apostle Paul is something that they have to walk. It is an “example” which is set by Paul and his fellow-workers in Christ. Why do they have to walk on the same rule? It’s because there are those who walk being enemies of the cross of Christ. This “rule” is something which differentiates between those who walk as either friend or foe of the cross of Christ (Phil.3:16-19)
(Philippians 3:16-19 KJV) Nevertheless, whereto we have already attained, let us walk by the same rule, let us mind the same thing. Brethren, be followers together of me, and mark them which walk so as ye have us for an ensample. • Being followers of the sent messenger of God is tantamount to following the Lord Jesus Christ (1Cor.11:1).

• It is the members of the church who should examine themselves if he/she be in faith (2Cor.13:5; James 2:14,18; 1Cor.11:19).

Yahweh is a modern scholarly vocalization of the name as it appears in Hebrew, where it is written without vowels as יהוה (YHWH), called the Tetragrammaton. (wikipedia).
So it is modern vocalization.
If its necessary for a Christian to know the pronunciation of YHWH, do you think it will not be told to His chosen messenger and to His people in this dispensation?
