I often encounter authors who would say that the cause of social ills today globally was brought about by the Jews, from wars to economic crises, due to its vast network of influence that manipulates the string of world events. Nevertheless, these people are the most hated among races deemed inferior by the racist stocks. My question is does the Bible say anything about this present plight or status of the Jews?

God’s favor to the Israelites started from the time of their father — Abraham — to whom God pronounced His promises.

During the time of Christ, the Israelites were under the authority of the Roman Empire.

The same fate happened to the Israelites time and time again because of their disobedience.

What happened in the Holocaust to the Jews is just a repetition of what had happened to their forefathers many times in the past — and these are all because of their neglect of God and disobedience to the covenant.

Their ‘rejection’ of the books of the New Testament or the New Covenant is utterly a rejection of the prophecy of Jeremiah, which they claim to believe.
Really the Jews are influential people both physically ang spiritually. Salvation comes from them.

They were the first to inherit the promises and salvation.

While reading this article, I can’t help my tears. The way Bro. Eli explains how the Israelites found favor from God and later on His Anger is so vivid so clear that both God’s Love and Anger to them is flashing before the screen of the monitor, scenes from the Bible. I posted the same question here before and now find the answer to it…satisfied with heart overflowing. I ask about the Israelites because I felt that there is a need for me to understand the greatness there is to be called “ye are of Abraham’s seed, if ye be in Christ’s”.

Well, I think Atty. Bernardo and I have some things in common and one of them is about our passion for books dealing with history. I also read conspiracy theory materials. That’s why I came to know different secret societies which I’m not so sure whether these are or just some of them are really in existence or not.
Famous of these orders are the “Illuminati”, “Wisemen”, Freemasons, etc. And Jews are always implicated in their activities according to some authors. Some would also say that changing new world orders were brought about by Jews. Even the powerful financial institutions, defense industries, political parties or movements are held by the these so-called “Elders of Zion”. There is also one theory that even the Roman Catholic Church and several Protestant denominations are partly, if not totally, controlled by the Jews.

My opinion:
After Christ there was a religious bickering between Jews and Christians. The Judeo-Christians wanted the management of the temple in their hands. The apostles wanted to change Judaism according to the liberal teaching of Jesus. Jesus accordingly said that; “The good news must be preached only to the Jews.” Any contrary opinion to that is believed to be an insertion in the bible.
When Paul was converted to Christianity, he preached his own branch of Christianity to the gentiles. He wanted to separate Christianity completely away from Judaism. Paul wanted to hijack the belief of the Jews. When it says that; “Salvation is within the Jews.” He change it that it is in the practice of Christianity that people will be saved. His teaching of religious hatred towards the Jews was carried through all of the Christian world.
I hope my opinion in this thread is still valid as some of the postings here will take us back to the year 2007. I would like to comment on the opinion of Rudy. I think Rudy has a better idea than the rest.
After Christ there was really religious bickering dividing the Jews and the Christians. But before the time of Christ there was a religious war between the Jews and the Greeks who were the followers of Alexander the Great. This war was recorded in the book of the Maccabbees. The Maccabean Revolt happened because the Greeks wanted to force the Jewish people to be converted to the Greek religion of multiple deity. The Jews resisted and they won.
After years of bickering some of the Greeks were agreeable in the Jewish belief of monotheism but refused to follow Judaism as a whole because of the Jews strict adherence to their religious laws and traditions which are not easy for the Greeks to follow. So they deviced a new stratagem by writing the New Testament using Jesus as the end of the Laws of Moses. The New Testament as I see it is a discourse against the Jews and Judaism.
Paul a hellenistic Jew was converted to Christianity and he was the one who preached the Christian faith to the gentiles. This is also the start of preaching hate against the Jews. To the trained eye; verses of hatred in the N.T. can easily be spotted. For example is; 1 Thessalonians 2:14-16. These are verses saying that the Jews killed Jesus and their Prophets. These are lies! Because it’s hard for a Jew to kill another Jew and this Jewish attitude is still visible until today. Paul as a Jew is hard for him to write hatred against his own people which is why according to some bible scholars these verses in 1 Thessalonians 2:14-16 are believed to be biblical interpolation.
The Jewish people are a united people which is why their survival is exceptional. The 2,000 years of hatred against the Jews climaxed in the Holocaust.

Paul reminded the Christians not to look down upon the Jews. The Jews are just the natural olive branch, and we are grafted into their branch. If our foundation is mistreated or destroyed, it will hurt or kill the branches. God also plans another trip to Israel in the second coming, where he redeems his people Israel finally.
