God is Not Everywhere

blogbadge.jpg

The word ‘omnipresent’ is never found in the original languages used to write the word of God in the Bible. Although it is possible that later translations which were translated according to the religious inclination of the translator may have it. We are lucky to have manuscripts of the scriptures dating as far back as the 1st and 2nd century of the Christian era (See image below). The advent of the computer age made it easier to search the entire Bible in just a click of a keypad.

a-fragment-of-the-gospel-john.jpg

Nobody can ever (in this age) understand the whole being of God.

(Isaiah 55:8-9) “For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the LORD. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts.”

As the heaven is unfathomable, God’s thinking and ways are like the unfathomable heavens by earthlings.

We are not allowed by any authority in the Bible to ascribe anything to God, whether it seems like adding honor and glory to Him! Why? God does not change. He is infinitely the same from everlasting to everlasting.

(James 1:17) “Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning.”

The teachings of the deceived Mormon’s that God is a person just like us in the beginning; and only attained exaltation is biblically false.

mormons2.jpg

We can not add to His glory by our belief; nor diminish it by our unbelief.

(Romans 3:3-4) “For what if some did not believe? shall their unbelief make the faith of God without effect? God forbid: yea, let God be true, but every man a liar; as it is written, That thou mightest be justified in thy sayings, and mightest overcome when thou art judged.”

God is limited to being true and faithful, He cannot lie! Im not putting limit unto Him, His words say so. It is impossible for Him to lie!

(Titus 1:2)  “In hope of eternal life, which God, that cannot lie, promised before the world began…”

(Hebrews 6:18 ) “That by two immutable things, in which it was impossible for God to lie, we might have a strong consolation, who have fled for refuge to lay hold upon the hope set before us…”

We know that God is a spirit because our teacher from heaven said so.

(John 4:24) “God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.”

He is love because it was written.

(1 John 4:16, 8 ) “And we have known and believed the love that God hath to us. God is love; and he that dwelleth in love dwelleth in God, and God in him…”

“…He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love.”

He is a consuming fire.

(Hebrews 12:29) “For our God is a consuming fire.”

He is compassionate and ever loving.

(Psalms 103:14) “For he knoweth our frame; he remembereth that we are dust.”

He is good.

(Psalms 100:3-5) “Know ye that the LORD he is God: it is he that hath made us, and not we ourselves; we are his people, and the sheep of his pasture. Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts with praise: be thankful unto him, and bless his name. For the LORD is good; his mercy is everlasting; and his truth endureth to all generations.”

He sits in yonder heavens and Jesus, our Lord, sits at the right hand of His majesty.

(Colossians 3:1) “If ye then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God.”

(Hebrews 8:1) “Now of the things which we have spoken this is the sum: We have such a high priest, who is set on the right hand of the throne of the Majesty in the heavens…”

One strict prohibition of the Bible is for us to accept the word of God as it is. Nothing must be added or taken away.

(Revelation 22:18-19) “For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book: And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book.”

(Jeremiah 26:2) “Thus saith the LORD; Stand in the court of the LORD’s house, and speak unto all the cities of Judah, which come to worship in the LORD’s house, all the words that I command thee to speak unto them; diminish not a word:”

(Proverbs 30:5-6) “Every word of God is pure: he is a shield unto them that put their trust in him. Add thou not unto his words, lest he reprove thee, and thou be found a liar.”

The Bible says that the eyes of God are everywhere.

(Proverbs 15:3) “The eyes of the LORD are in every place, beholding the evil and the good.”

If God is everywhere, as other religions claim, the Bible should not have said that the eyes of the Lord are in every place. It will contradict the law of logic. Does it mean that the eyes of God, His very eyes, are everywhere? Of course, not! His eyes are in His being; but can see even beyond the material universe we know.

God is in heaven, according to the prayer taught by our Lord Jesus Christ to the disciples.

(Matthew 6:9-13) “Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, forever. Amen.”

God is not in a place where there are evil strife and envy.

(James 3:16, 15) “For where envying and strife is, there is confusion and every evil work.”

“This wisdom descendeth not from above, but is earthly, sensual, devilish.”

He is not where confusion dwells.

(1 Corinthians 14:33) “For God is not the author of confusion, but of peace, as in all churches of the saints.”

It is an insult to God for anybody to say that He is everywhere. The disrespectful are trying to drag God to every place they want Him to be: In the casinos? The prostitution dens? In the place of demons? God forbids! This is the teaching of the misled, the blinded, and the wicked.

(Acts 17:24) “God that made the world and all things therein, seeing that he is Lord of heaven and earth, dwelleth not in temples made with hands…”

He even left His chosen nation, Israel, when they turned to be wicked.

(2 Chronicles 15:3) “Now for a long season Israel hath been without the true God, and without a teaching priest, and without law.”

But when they where following His statutes and judgments, God was with them, and not in any nation on earth.

(2 Kings 5:15) “And he returned to the man of God, he and all his company, and came, and stood before him: and he said, Behold, now I know that there is no God in all the earth, but in Israel: now therefore, I pray thee, take a blessing of thy servant.”

To my readers, are you one of those who are trying to discredit God by ascribing to Him false qualities that He does not ascribe to Himself? God forbids!

(Job 13:7) “Will ye speak wickedly for God? and talk deceitfully for him?”

My God — the Almighty God — is not in a heart that deceives people like other religious leaders. Praise be unto Him, forever and ever. Amen!

God Bless.

  1. EFS;

I have to disagree with you on the fact of God not being everywhere….The reason for my disagreement is that when a person is filled with God’s spirit, well then, that would mean that God is present, would it not?

Not all people that call there selves Christians are filled with God’s spirit, however….I have no doubt that they have a spirit in them, it’s just not of God…The reason I say that is because when a person receives God’s spirit, (the Holy Ghost), then there would be change in that person….

Being we are all sinners because of Adam and Eve, we must be born again of the water and of the Spirit….That is how the blood is applied, that is how our sins are washed away, that is when God changes us and makes us a new creature, just like the bible says….

Because God will not dwell in a vessel full of iniquity, the Holy Ghost will turn the darkness into His marvellous light…

God all knowing, God see’s all, God is ever present….My God can do anything, nothing is impossible for my God….

  2. Thanks be to God! Now i learn again wisdom from God thru Brother Eli, and i realize that my first claim and analogy is very stupid so i would like to ask an apology!Maybe next time i will learn to be in silence. Salamat po sa Dios Brother Eli!

  3. Let us talk Bro. eli, STAND ON YOUR GROUND and DEFEND IT! If the spirit of God is within you, NO MATTER what, you will end up VICTORIOUS!

If I am the DARK and YOU are the LIGHT, then let your light shine so that the darkness in me will be gone.

DO NOT BE AFRAID OF ME!

    • Most of Soriano’s doctrines are formed from his own opinion.
And not based on the Bible.
He only uses the Bible for convenience.

Notice that he cites that God’s ways are NOT our ways.
Yet he implies a violation of HUMAN LOGIC when the same Bible states that God’s eyes are everywhere.

A clear double standard in interpreting scripture.
In effect, Soriano DISMISSES Proverbs 15:3 with no problem.

  4. WOW! speechless…… Hope all people discover this site so that they could testify and prove in themselves how sensible is Bro Eli.

More power to you Bro Eli and thanks be to God……

  5. It was concise but comprehensive!!!

So to mr. erdie143, vincent reyes , open minded and adventist777, better luck next time guys!

and pls….on the next topic try to be sensible instead of being air-heads, ok?

    see you around….

  6. Again, truth has prevailed.

None of the false prophets and false christs can ever be able to stand against the truth in the bible.

Even the smartest of the “bible scholars” can’t make their arguments in front of the glaring facts in the bible.

Defended by the only sensible preacher in our time, the TRUTHCASTER, non other than the servant of God, Brother Eliseo Soriano, with God’s help and mercy, we can be sure that the TRUTH shall remain untainted and pure.

    To God be the Glory!

  7. In Judaism there is no part of anything that is not God. But whether God is a part of mens’ lives depends upon how men behave.

After the Flood, when Noah was a wreck of a man, an alcoholic, hating himself for not believing in God and the coming Flood enough (for he thought that if he had believed enough he would have convinced more people), his sons were visited by God, who told them that if they put in place the institutions of family, law and social justice, those acts would be like a tent erected over the people, and God would come down and dwell in that tent.

From which we see that God can be invited in by correct behaviour, or left out of the world. So while there is no part of anything that is not God, man’s experience of existence and of reality is affected by whether God is present as a dweller in the tent.

    🙂

  8. To Truthbear,

I have to disagree to you.

It has been clearly stated that you cannot change God of the Bible on what you want to believe in. Believe on what is clearly written that God is the same from everlasting to everlasting. (James 1:17).

It would be wise if you should ask bro Eli. this question.
If God is not everywhere, what is really present in the being of a Christian?

    you also quote that;
….God all knowing, God see’s all, God is ever present….My God can do anything, nothing is impossible for my God….

I say that you assumed to much about the God of the bible.
What was written in Hebrew 6:18 and Titus 1:2 is that
God of the Bible cannot do lie. it is impossible for God to lie.

So, it clearly contradicts with your god that can do anything and nothing is impossible for your god!
O’ cmon, you don’t know what you are saying!!

If I will elaborate on that your god is all knowing, you may be surprise if I will show you a verse that there is something that God of the Bible didn’t knew about!!!

I am sure your god you are saying is very much different for the God of the Bible.

Again, I have to disagree with you truthbear. or may I say truth-no-bear. prove your belief with verses. not just preconcieve ideas.

do not settle with only few verses in the bible.
    the bible has 66 books.
do not spend your time elaborating on a single verse per meeting then believe you are already saved.

I advise you not to disagree on what you didn’t know. But ask bro eli. what you should and need to know about God of the bible.

  9. Johnnie a.k.a. truthbear,

Your belief that “that there is nothing that your God can not do”…is ABSOLUTELY WRONG…WHY?

    Can he (your God) LIE?
    Can he (your God) DIE?
    Can he (your God) CHANGE?

    Prove your answer biblically.

  10. To Pro-OMNIPRESENT

For your info, Bro. Eli Soriano is not afraid to anybody!
Long before in 43 years of service to His GOD, he has encountered all different kinds of detractors with His faith. and I am definetely sure he is not afraid with you!!

We invite you to a LIVE DEBATE!!!

    are you afraid?

  11. this was the topic we’re discussing in the recent EDEBATE page of this blog, asking the question – IS GOD EVERYWHERE? (aka OMNIPRESENT?)

and the comments reached 283 comments before it was closed to give way for this blog entry. actually, i was ready to submit my responses to the following participants of that topic >> WOLVERINE! (#237), Aldrich_INC (#248), Erdie_handog143 (#256, #261, #275, #276, #277, #278), dave (#260), & to barcelon, emily (#270, #272, #273) but the next thing i knew was the comments area has been closed.

well, the discussion was such a landslide victory if you’ll weigh all the arguments made in favor of those who advocates that GOD IS NOT EVERYWHERE, well-rooted in biblical standards. those who pathetically believes the fad and the euphony of the phrase “God is everywhere (omnipresent)” just didn’t even got the chance. (too bad). 🙂

now, thanks to this concise list of biblical verses that debunks the idea that God is everywhere or in every place you could wildly imagine.

*** can you imagine this?: GOD IS IN A PLACE LIKE HELL? PROBABLY, HAVING A HOT COFFEE WITH SATAN? (that’s bullshit! pls. pardon the lingo ;-P)

my final words to this words of God in the Bible is …. AMEN!

  12. here’s my message to:
truthbear, pro-omnipresent, and to those who’ll soon emerge and unwittingly dares to say again the words, “I DISAGREE” to these clear verses of the Bible which magnifies the TRUTH that indeed ….

THERE ARE SUCH PLACES WHERE GOD ALMIGHTY IS NOT THERE,

ergo, He is not everywhere or omnipresent …

are perhaps hard-headed opposers of the word of God in the Bible!

i just can’t help but to smirk to these kind of lame arguers who thinks of themselves

    * as “biblical experts”.
    * they can explain all spiritual matters

…. though they are not really versed. and probably, these guys have not even read half of the pages of their bibles, yet here they are quickly boasts to preach their half-baked theories!

*whew* i hate to say this because i may sound over-confident, but i doubt anyone of you who believes that God is omnipresent can have the slightest chance of debunking even my “weakest arguments”….

how much more if you’ll be dealing now with Bro. Eli Soriano!

*if only the EDEBATE on this topic is still open, i’ might have KNOCKED both of your ideas in just a few responses …. but i guess, not here.

because i don’t think it’s nice to start another debate-threaded-comments on this particular blog entry, aside from the dedicated EDEBATE page. (well, i don’t know exactly if it’s just alright with the blog owner.)

  13. # 6 Wolverine

I am happy to see you not shouting anymore! Thanks to Open-minded for opening your heart.

If Open-minded is your schoolmaster – tutor regarding the avoidance of using caps lock in your whole paragraph, then why are you discrediting him now?

  14. #6

wolverine: and pls….on the next topic try to be sensible instead of being air-heads

reply: not sensible enough? the fact that you still have an assignment, unaccounted for from Mr. Adventist777 proves that his argument is sensible enough. If his query is not sensible as you insisted then you can answer him at once. instead you said:

    DOM OR JETTY,

GUYS, AM HAVING A REBUTTAL WITH MR. ADVENTIST REGARDING 1COR.2:13

MY MAIN CONCERN IS THE LAST PHRASE OF THE VERSE:

“INTERPRETING SPIRITUAL THOUGHTS TO THOSE WHO POSSESES THE SPIRIT”(RSV)

“EXPRESSING SPIRITUAL TRUTH IN SPIRITUAL WORDS”

SINCE U GUYS HAV BEEN USING THE HEBREW GREEK BIBLE, CAN U CHECK THIS ONE OUT FOR ME WHICH IS WHICH, BEFORE I WILL EXTERMINATE THE ERRONOUS BELIEF OF MR. ADVENTIST.

IF YOU WILL BE SO KIND, CAN YOU GIVE ME THE CORRECT TRANSLATION OF 1COR 2:13 FROM HEBREW OR GREEK, PLS…?

THE FEW LAST PART IN YOUR WILL TEMPORARILY BE UNANSWERED FOR I STILL HAVE TO CONFIRM THE RIGHT TRANSLATION OF THE LAST PHRASE OF 1 COR.2:13

” INTERPRETING THOUGHT TO THOSE WHO POSSESES THE SPIRIT”

BEC IN SOME OTHER TRANSLATION ITS

” EXPRESSING SPIRITUAL TRUTH IN SPIRITUAL WORDS”

UNTIL I CONFIRM THE RIGHT TRANSLATION IN HEBREW OR GREEK THEN I’LL ANSWER YOU TRUTHFULLY AND CONSCIESLY.

BUT REST ASSURED, U CAN BET ON IT THAT YOUR THE ONE WHO HAS A FLAW IN THINKING AND NOT PAUL.CATCHA LATER.

Conclusion: Wolf the X-man, Joker ka din pala noh? or niluluko mo lang kami? but stay as sweet as you are by not shouting anymore.

  15. # 6

wolverine: So to mr. erdie143 and vincent.

reply: hmmmmmm I think Erdie_INC143 is not really an INC like Vincent. He is probably a “born-again” INC hahahahahaha!

  16. to truthbear..

    read carefully

Hebrews 6:18 ) “That by two immutable things, in which it was impossible for God to lie, we might have a strong consolation, who have fled for refuge to lay hold upon the hope set before us…”

    nothing is impossible you say?..

nothing more nothing less.. no explanations needed..

  17. truthbear,

with all these verses laid out from top up to the bottom, from end to end, side by sidge of this blog, seems that none of these verses took your mind. i think it would be very appropriate if you change your name from “truthbear” to just the name “bear”. would everybody agree? your comments is overflawded (short for flooded with flaws hahaha) you believe that God is not everywhere but on the later part of your message you’ve spoke about God not dwelling in a vessel full of iniquity, how do you correlate your two seemingly far crying, contradicting statements that God is everywhere but “not dwelling on something”??????

  19. TO: Truthbear

Did you remember when our lord Jesus christ came here.

——–Blessed be the King that cometh in the name of the Lord: peace in heaven, and glory in the highest.———

    >>>>>>>>>> Master, rebuke thy disciples.<<<<<<<<<<<<

“………….,I tell you that, if these should hold their PEACE, the STONES would immediately CRY OUT.”

“……., If thou hadst known, even thou, at least in this thy day, the things which belong unto thy PEACE! but now they are hid from thine EYES.”

“………………, because thou knewest not the time of thy VISITATION.”

It is the love/spirit who is present in you brother.

“…………………..: CONTINUE ye in my LOVE.”

    Therefore GOD is not EVERYWHERE.

Because if he is in your front and you hold your peace the stones would immediately cry out. (Don’t be literal)

because of His HOLINESS AND GLORY.

“When the Son of man shall come in his glory, and all the holy angels with him, then shall he sit upon the throne of his glory:”

    EYES

  20. to pro-omnipresent,

Bro. eli is not afraid of you!!!!
It seems like you are inviting Bro.Eli for a debate? Isn’t it? Be extra careful. Don’t be boustful,
you know what is written in

Proverbs 16:18 – 17 “Pride goes before destruction, and a haughty spirit before a fall.
It is better to be of an humble spirit with the lowly than to divide the spoil with the proud. ”

    and

Proverbs 11:2 “Pride comes, then shame comes; but with the lowly is wisdom. ”

Just a piece of advice, read more articles of Bro. Eli, open your heart and you will be enlightened God willing. I hope you’ll see the truth. You are one the many people who are very much mislead by many false preachers in our times.

Mat 24:24 “For false Christs and false prophets will arise and show great signs and wonders; so much so that, if it were possible, they would deceive even the elect.”

Mat 24:11 “And many false prophets will rise and deceive many.”

Mat 24:5 “For many will come in My name, saying, I am Christ, and will deceive many.”

    wake up!!!!!!

  21. to truthbear (johnnie),

kindly read again the article, open you mind and your heart, understand it well, and you will be enlightened. if you want. you may ask bro. eli in his bible expositions. it is live, and you can ask him any question regarding faith and the bible.

  22. I’VE NEVER READ ANYTHING SO IGNORANT IN ALL MY ENTIRE LIFE..HOW ON EARTH COULD ANYBODY WHO HAS CLAIMED TO READ THE WORD OF GOD BELIEVE THAT HE ONLY EXISTS IN CERTAIN PLACES AND IS LIMITED?YOU NEED HELP AND FAST!

  23. To truthbear,

    You wrote:
“God all knowing, God see’s all, God is ever present….My God can do anything, nothing is impossible for my God….”

Brother Eli already cited the verse:

(Hebrews 6:18 ) “That by two immutable things, in which it was impossible for God to lie, we might have a strong consolation, who have fled for refuge to lay hold upon the hope set before us…”

It is very clear, it was impossible for God to lie, but you insist that nothing is impossible for your God. Definitely your God is not the God from the Bible.

  24. TO PRO-IMNIPRESENT,
    to post#3

Hold your horses now kiddo! what’s got into you?
There’s no need to get to over excited with the “TOPIC”

The fact that Bro. Eli already posted his side regarding the ISSUE, didn’t he defended it already? Were you not reading it?

and excuse me, there’s no such term as OMNIPRESENT in the bible.Even the essence of the term “OMNIPRESENCE” not is not in the bible.

NOW I’LL ASK YOU TO CLARIFY YOUR STAND:

= GOD IS IN SATAN.IS THIS PART OF THE ESSENCE OF OMNIPRESENCE?

Now, answer that first then we’ll discuss it later, ok?

and hey!!! i thought u believe GOD IS EVERYWHERE, then why say in your post#3 “IF THE SPIRIT OF GOD IS IN YOU, NO MATTER WHAT, U’LL END UP VICTORIOUS?”

By believing that “GOD IS OMNIPRESENT”, you are compelled and oblige to accept that GOD’S SPIRIT IS IN BRO.ELI, thus making him victorious already.

If I were to follow the logic of your statement, your implying that those who ended up not victorious “DOESN’T HAVE THE SPIRIT OF GOD,THEREFORE, MAKING YOUR “GOD IS OMNIPRESENT” ERRONOUS JUST BY USING YOUR OWN STATEMENT.

IF IN THAT ARGUEMENT ALONE YOU ARE ALREADY SHOWING YOU INCONSISTENCY OF YOUR “OMNIPRESENCE” THEN HOW ARE YOU GONNA LAST IN THE LONG RUN?

i suggest you compose yourself before barging into something that your not really learned of..

  25. TO PRO-OMNIPRESENT,

LET ME JUST REPHRASE MY QUESTION.

U SED: “IF GOD’S SPIRIT IS IN YOU, NO MATTER WHAT, YOU WILL END UP VICTORIOUS!

SINCE GOD IS A SPIRIT ACCORIDING TO JN.4:24

SINCE YOUR LOGIC IS WHOEVER HAS THE SPIRIT OF GOD WILL END UP “VICTORIOUS” NO MATTER WHAT.

AND SINCE GOD IS EVERYWHERE TO YOU, YOU ARE NOW COMPELLED AND OBLIGED TO ACCEPT TOO THAT GOD’S SPIRIT IS IN SATAN TOO, THUS MAKING SATAN VICTORIOUS NO MATTER WHAT ACCORDING TO THE FLOW OF YOUR REASONING.

=IS GOD IN SATAN BEC. GOD IS OMNIPRESENT?

=WILL SATAN END UP VICTORIOUS NO MATTER WHAT BEC GOD IS IN SATAN?

=WHAT VERSE WILL PROVE THAT GOD IS IN SATAN AND SATAN WILL END UP VITORIOUS BECAUSE U SAID THAT IF GOD’S SPIRIT IS IN SOMEONE,NO MATTER WHAT, THAT SOMEONE WILL END UP VITORIOUS?

  26. TO TRUTHBEAR:

GOD said Jer.19:5″They have built also the high places of Baal to burn their sons with fire for burnt offerings unto Baal, which I commanded not, nor spoke it, neither came it into my mind.

  27. Truthbear said: “…My God can do anything, nothing is impossible for my God…”

Here is a verse for you:
Heb 6:18 That by two immutable things, in which it was impossible for God to lie, we might have a strong consolation, who have fled for refuge to lay hold upon the hope set before us:

  28. To Pro-Omnipresent (post #3)

Who are you, please? Do you mind to introduce yourself? And if you really mean your challenge, can you do it formally and not just by commenting in this blog?

  29. truthbear you are not a truthbearer.you are trying to refute the tenet in the bible that God is not everywhere but you did not give any verses from the bible which will prove your alleged belief tht God is omnipresent

  30. If a person is not convinced that God is not omnipresent even after the numerous verses that Brother Eli has enumerated coming straight from the Bible, then no one can convince you otherwise. This person is one of those mentioned in II Corinthians 4:4. May God have mercy on you.

  31. 1 JOHNNIE TRUTHBEAR,

You said, “God all knowing, God see’s all, God is ever present….My God can do anything, nothing is impossible for my God….”

    a. all knowing?

BIBLE: Jeremiah 19:5  They have built also the high places of Baal, to burn their sons with fire for burnt offerings unto Baal, which I commanded not, nor spake it, neither came it into my mind:

    b. see’s all? – ‘?

    All what?

    c. ever present?

    BIBLE: Acts 17:24  God that made the world and all things therein, seeing that he is Lord of heaven and earth, dwelleth not in temples made with hands;

    d. can do anything?

    BIBLE: Titus 1:2  In hope of eternal life, which God, that cannot lie, promised before the world began;

    e. nothing is impossible?

BIBLE: Hebrews 6:18  That by two immutable things, in which it was impossible for God to lie, we might have a strong consolation, who have fled for refuge to lay hold upon the hope set before us:

Is this your god? Therefore, I conclude, that your god is not the God in the bible. Don’t be one of these:

Titus 1:16  They profess that they know God; but in works they deny him, being abominable, and disobedient, and unto every good work reprobate.

Matthew 15:9  But in vain they do worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men.

    why?

2 Corinthians 4:4  In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them.

    WAKE UP!

  32. To Truthbear

    You said:

“God all knowing, God see’s all, God is ever present….My God can do anything, nothing is impossible for my God….”

I don’t know who your god is but he is NOT THE GOD, the REAL GOD of the Bible. Why?

You said your god is all knowing…what does the Bible actually say about God, does He really know all?

    In Jer 7:30-31

For the children of Judah have done that which is evil in my sight, saith the LORD: they have set their abominations in the house which is called by my name, to defile it.

And they have built the high places of Topheth, which is in the valley of the son of Hinnom, to burn their sons and their daughters in the fire; which I commanded not, NEITHER CAME IT INTO MY MIND.

The evil that was done by the children of Judah didn’t even come into the Lord’s mind. If He is all knowing then why would He say “NEITHER CAME IT INTO MY MIND”, this clearly shows that He didn’t know that the children of Judah would do such things!!!

A question…if He IS all knowing…Did He know that satan is going to rebel against Him and bring a lot of people to Hell? If He did why did He create satan? Is your god stupid that He’d create satan knowing he would endanger the salvation of many people???

    You also said:
“My God can do anything, nothing is impossible for my God…”

Just in case you’ve missed it, Bro. Eli cited these two verses:

    Titus 1:2
In hope of eternal life, which God, that cannot lie, promised before the world began…

    Hebrews 6:18
That by two immutable things, in which it was impossible for God to lie, we might have a strong consolation, who have fled for refuge to lay hold upon the hope set before us…

GOD, CANNOT LIE…It doesn’t say God will not or would not but CANNOT, CANNOT…He’s incapable of lying! It’s so clear right there in those two verses. “in which it was impossible for God to lie”

The best guide we have about the REAL GOD is the Bible. So a Brotherly advice…drop that illusionary god of yours, and believe in the God that is written in the Scriptures.

To the God who cannot lie be the Glory!!!

  33. That was good enough for us to understand.. GLORY be to GOD! Amen! THANKS be to GOD! Bro.Eli came in this world for us to enlighten.. Amen! ^_^ Take Care BRo.Eli.. We LOVE you!

Who told you that Bro. Eli is afraid of you?
    Papansin ka naman masyado…
    —————————————————————————-

  35. It is pretty obvious and clear, from what bro Eli cited in his blog, which are from the scriptures, that God is not everywhere. I pity those who can not understand, or maybe they don’t want to understand and just stay on their wrong beliefs. Guys, open up your hearts and your minds! While you still have time!!

  36. Amen to that! Crystal clear explanation!

    To ERDIE_HANDOG143:

You said: (Who fuxxxxx told you that God is not present in them? Can you blame a blind man if he cannot see the beauty of sunrise?)

My response: Who told you either that God is present to those who considered blind? Can you cite a verse for that?

You said: None is poor Dmitri, everyone has got rubies in his bundle. but how to open the knot he does not know and therefore he is a PAUPER!

My response: Wrong analogy! If everyone have God with them, is there any need for God to command us to seek for him?

You said: You are a pauper Dmitri and certified ignorant of the truth. God reveals himself only to those who seek for him. He did not live high or low at all He is to be found in every heart, (ACTS 17) if you desire for him then seek him from your heart.

My response: Acts 17 doesn’t prove that God can be found in every heart. You cannot read in whole chapter 17 of Acts that God can be found in every heart. It is just your own interpretation about chapter 17 of Acts. To prove that God cannot be found in every heart, in Psalms 14:1 and may I quote: “The fool has said in his heart, THERE IS NO GOD. They are corrupt, they have done abominable works, there is none that does good”. Is God in the heart of the fool mentioned in Psalms 14:1?

  37. To

YOU SAID: have to disagree with you on the fact of God not being everywhere….The reason for my disagreement is that when a person is filled with God’s spirit, well then, that would mean that God is present, would it not? …… Because God will not dwell in a vessel full of iniquity, the Holy Ghost will turn the darkness into His marvellous light…

    —————-

You claim to disagree with the belief that God is not everywhere but it appears that your statement implies that God is indeed not everywhere! Let me quote:

“Because God will not dwell in a vessel full of iniquity”

You yourself admit that God will not be in a person full of iniquity. God is indeed not everywhere! He is not in a person full of iniquity!

Then you said: “the Holy Ghost will turn the darkness into His marvellous light…”

How about Satan? He is already condemned to be thrown into the lake of fire! There is no possibility that God would be with him anymore!

Try to think and understand what Bro. Eli teaches. It is very well supported by so many verses in the Bible. We suggest that you read them and not to trust in your own understanding.

    God bless.

  39. TO: Post 3 Pro-Omnipresent

It is very simple, bro. all you have to do is post the VERSE that God is Omnipresent. If you didn’t find any… it means that your in DARKNESS. Then reject that belief… and you will finfd LIGHT. It is not hard to DISCERN, BRO.

YABANG na lang iyang REACTION MO. HALATA. TSK TSK

  40. to truth bear,

sorry but i cant seem to find any sense in what you are saying but as far as my understanding can grasp you’re trying to say that God is everywhere because the HolySpirit can change a wicked person to become good and be filled with the spirit of God, thus making God omnipresent. my question is how about those people who do not want to change and continue to do wickedly? would the HolySpirit change them? would God’s spirit dwell in them?

    To pro-omnipresent,

Bro Eli is not afraid of discussing the truth to anyone. His arguements had been laid, you have no such right to call brand him afraid unless you can prove it. you can not even disproved any of his claims from the bible.

    please seek the truth harder!

  41. Basic Truth
    July 4th, 2007 – No Responses

One of the wisdom I learned through our Presiding Minister, brother Eliseo Soriano, is to know, search and learn about my God first. Because knowing God, makes me realize my limitation as a human being, my obligations, and responsibilities. I learned to read the scriptures so that I will have the wisdom and understanding to differentiate the Word of Truth from inventions made by man.

    Know thy God!
    June 21st, 2007 – No Responses

We live here on earth, living in uncertainty.

    But that was before.

We are now Christians that hold on to the Truth and follow the complete commandments of Jesus Christ. People wonder how our group does not worry that much and even have the time to laugh to our heart’s content, even when mocked by our detractors.

What is the secret behind the seemingly unexplainable jolt of energy coming out from us? One thing of the many reasons, we left the life of hypocrisy behind. Another thing is that we are certain to the everlasting life God, He that cannot lie, promised.

I belong in this community of believers though I am a homosexual. But I understand, with the help of the Holy Spirit, knowing what I must do, I know that I cannot fulfill that desire but rather fight it.

I learn to put my trust in God! He is the source of a genuine laughter, that despite of unexpainable things that is happening in my life, may it be good or bad, His son, Jesus Christ becomes my helper in carrying the yoke.

John 16:33 “These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.”

God is running my life now, helping me to understand and to recognize my limitations as a homosexual, as a human, as a member of a family, as citizen of a country, as a friend, more importantly as a servant of God and my brethren. And since I have recognized my limitations, I am now able to optimize the things that I have and what I have learned.

Now that I found God, I appreciated more what He has been saying all along: “Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest,” Matthew 11:28.

    Psalm 126:
    A song of ascents.
1 When the LORD brought back the captives to Zion,
we were like men who dreamed.

2 Our mouths were filled with laughter,
our tongues with songs of joy.
Then it was said among the nations,
“The LORD has done great things for them.”

3 The LORD has done great things for us,
and we are filled with joy.

4 Restore our fortunes, O LORD,
    like streams in the Negev.

5 Those who sow in tears
will reap with songs of joy.

6 He who goes out weeping,
    carrying seed to sow,
will return with songs of joy,
    carrying sheaves with him.

Is God omnipotent and omniscient or just omnipotent? Can he lie? Can he do everything? Maybe the god that those persons you heard has all these “fable-like-capabilities”. Iglesia ni Cristo even implies that God has a prerogative to lie! Yes, these beliefs exist in the minds of the unbelievers and the anti-christ!

Which of the adjectives above are true then, based on the bible?

I learned one thing, if you want to know God, read the bible.

Because the bible was written by man under the divine guidance of God. That is the reason why it contains all the logical, rational and scientific answers about God that man needs in order to live long. Those things of God, even some of those we have no knowledge of are explained in the bible, even the reason why sinners are not punished yet. I read that God is Almighty and He cannot lie.

Please do not be ungrateful of God’s patience because He’s patience is incomparable to that of ours. It is undescribable!

What do Atheists or unbelievers have in common? They want to rationalize about what is, what not, without having to mention or include God and the things about Him.

    Psalm 53:1; 14:

1 The fool says in his heart,
    “There is no God.”
    They are corrupt, their deeds are vile;
there is no one who does good.

Proverbs 1:7 The fear of the LORD is the beginning of knowledge, but fools despise wisdom and discipline.

I disregarded the definition about God made by so many scholars and the like, because should they have been right, they will rebuke people calling them Pope, Pastor, god, angels, and the like. Catholic Priests will not allow catholic children sleeping a foot away outside the Catholic Churches’ walls, an example can be observed in Quiapo, Manila in the Philippines. If they known the True God or even have a glimpse of Him in the Holy Scriptures(Bible), that One that gave the Word freely, they will not allow corrupt officials to donate, nor they will accept monetary donations from non believers, even payments for baptism, confirmation, marriage, nor even payment for prayers for the soul of the dead.

An angel messenger will not dare to say that God can lie if he wills to, but say the truth, foretell the future as told by Jesus Christ, without adding, subtracting a word even a dot or a comma. Neither will they edit something out of what a wiseman said just to malign him and bring the souls of the listeners with them to destruction. No one will teach the Jesus Christ of the Bible as being a mere human, unless he be the Anti Christ, if not, satan’s followers!

If we are talking of One God then there is no confusion inside the church but organized thoughts, understanding, one faith, one hope and the like.

An amputee Christian will not pray to God to grow him another leg! A True Christian will ardently pray that God guides his path even if his leg gone, he will not fall in one way or another in terms of following the commandments, up to the coming back of Jesus Christ and be rewarded of the promise, an uncorruptible body.

Let us not rebut here the way we do it in college just to prove a point. In college, we do not care whether we lie making sure that we have a basis of a lie and can present it as the truth. Because after all, it is just a lie used in just a game of debate.

Let us debate the Christian way, always taking into consideration the soul of those who are listening/reading.

I John 4:1 Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world.

Without this attitude of concern, no wonder why atheists speak foolishly, they have nothing to lose. Their beliefs and ideology are strongholds – but do not forget that it is easily pulled by the mighty through God!

    II Corinthians 10:2-4
    King James Version

2 But I beseech you, that I may not be bold when I am present with that confidence, wherewith I think to be bold against some, which think of us as if we walked according to the flesh.

3 For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war after the flesh:

4 (For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strongholds; )

Thanks to God for giving us Bro Eliseo Soriano in this era!

  42. To Truthbear:
As Bro. Eli explained to this verse Proverbs 15:3) “The eyes of the LORD are in every place, beholding the evil and the good.”, It is very clear that His very eyes are not everywhere and His eyes are in His being, He can see even beyond the material universe we know.
It’s just like this, your eyes are in your being, in your orbital cavity of your skull. But the eyes field vision travel at
very fast milisecond rate to see the viewpoint even in a far area. Your eye retina accomodates with accordance with your lens as you see an object near or far. But it doesnt mean that your being or body is there everywhere.
God is not everywhere, but His Eyes can see more powerful vision beyond our existence and our limit in our living world. Make up your mind and be logical. Bro. Eli explain well about this topic. I suggest you read again to enlighten your understanding!

  43. when this topic is being subject of discussion, many of the non-Church of God members tend not to accept the fact that God is NOT everywhere.

many of them think that this is an odd belief, yes this is odd for those people whose beliefs are still being guided and are patterned by the Catholic beliefs. If this simple truth, you cant accept, how much more can you take the mysteries that God, thru Bro. Eli is unveiling in the Church and for the brethren, for example, that the second coming of Christ is not really the second coming the whole world believes in. Can you guys take that?

So, for PRO-OMNIPRESENT, show your guts. Do you really believe Bro. Eli fears you? No one to be feared but only God.
Of course he is not afraid of you. No one HAS EVER BEATEN our Bro. Eli on all his debates.

And if anyone dares to debate him, you are very most welcome and all of us will witness your evidence as well.

Just a piece of advice, be an open-minded and dont debate just for the sake of daring. If you think you’re wrong and your proof is pointless, THEN SUBMIT!

Hope the Holy Spirit guide you as you ask Bro. Eli.
He is THE MOST HUMBLE MAN I MET despite the HUGE KNOWLEDGE GOD HAS TRUSTED HIM.. He wont let you down if you come to him with a willing heart.

  44. To Johnnie

You know what? You never supported your comments with verses in the bible. Now, we know you’re not telling the truth because every truth must come from the bible.

And you said that “nothing is impossible to your god”, then we have different God….

We trust in our God because He cannot lie, it was impossible for Him to lie…

Titus 1:2 KJV – “In hope of eternal life, which God, that cannot lie, promised before the world began;”

When you said that there are those who have spirit but not is of God. Are you not mentioning yourself? Just asking….

  45. To all antagonists of Bro. Eli,

This is what I like to reiterate to all those people that are contesting Bro. Eli’s credibility. First and foremost, don’t stay in your wrong belief but instead, steadfast on the sound doctrine that Bro. Eli is teaching us thru the gospel of Christ.

I am praying that this article will shine light within the innermost part of your heart.

    To God be the glory!

  46. To truthbear,

You said nothing is impossible for your god. Is it possible for your god to lie? because for the God of the Bible, it is impossible…

(Hebrews 6:18 ) “That by two immutable things, in which it was IMPOSSOBILE for God to lie, we might have a strong consolation, who have fled for refuge to lay hold upon the hope set before us…”

If you don’t believe in this verse, I pity you because you have a different god…

  47. Dear Truth Bear,
I definitely have no idea why you call your self truth bear, but your logic and reasoning reminds me of a bear that I know of in the Bible . . . . . .

“We roar all like BEARS, and mourn sore like doves: we look for judgment, but there is none; for salvation, but it is far off from us.”
    – ISAIAH 59:11

People who have no understanding of God’s will are likened unto bears roaring for judgment and salvation, but is far from them. I pray that you will not be like these bears.

For as your name states, you must believe that you are an advocate of the truth. That is I guess, as far as you’re concerned. But judging from your statement that in “your God” there is nothing impossible and “your God” can do “anything”, it proves me one thing and to all knowledgeable biblical students reading your post . . . . YOURE NOT A TRUTH BEAR AS YOU CLAIM YOU ARE!

“Sanctify them through thy truth: THY WORD IS TRUTH.”
    – John 17:17

The written word of God is truth, truth bear. It declares deep things about Him we humans do not know of.
And the Bible tells us that the “true” God cannot lie.

“HE CANNOT” i.e. “HE IS NOT CAPABLE OF DOING IT”

“In hope of eternal life, which God, that cannot lie, promised before the world began;”

    – Titus 1:2

So if you claim Mr. or Ms. Truth bear that “your God can do anything” and there is “nothing impossible in your God” then Im sorry to inform you, but Biblically speaking, if you continue in this erroneous conviction, then instead of being called truth bear, you’ll be the fulfillment of those people who “ROARS LIKE BEARS because THERE IS NO SALVATION IN THEM” as mentioned is Isaiah 59:11.

Friendly advice Bear, don’t be arrogant. Study the scriptures more before you dispute something you do not fully understand just to force your idiosyncrasy towards God’s being, and may God enlighten you unto the path of understanding thru His messenger Bro. Eli Soriano.

  48. Dear ArtPhotoWall,

Your analogy in about the life Noah really disturbed me, and first thing I thought of was . . . .

“Where did this guy come up with such a ridiculous observation!?”

What kind of person would conclude that Noah was a drunkard, “an alcoholic” and was depressed because he thought that if only he had more faith in God he would have convinced more people to enter the ark?

Don’t you think building an ark that huge for 100 yrs. in a time where there are no existing modern engineering tools and methods sufficient proof that Noah has such an unwavering faith towards God???

What kind of person would draw such an unfair conclusion about Noah?

ANSWER? I think that kind of person is either has his wits numbed by conceit, or mislead by false teachings he or she has heard from people from the world of stupid philosophies!

I would gladly answer your dim-witted statements and accusations about Noah, but I think Bro. Eli is the right person to do so, and if he will only notice and read your post, he won’t let your lie go not rectified. I will just wait if Bro Eli will give justice to Noah’s person in your tasteless conclusions.

But I can express what I felt and think about your analysis about Noah in 1 word . . IMPERTINENT!

  49. TO TINA:

You are the one who needs help! All the glaring facts in the Bible that God is not everywhere are already laid down in Bro. Eli’s explanation and still for you its all ignorance? I admonish you to read again Bro. Eli’s explanation and just open your heart and may God enligthen you.

  50. on 29 Jul 2007 at 6:43 am29 Tina

You said, “I’VE NEVER READ ANYTHING SO IGNORANT IN ALL MY ENTIRE LIFE..HOW ON EARTH COULD ANYBODY WHO HAS CLAIMED TO READ THE WORD OF GOD BELIEVE THAT HE ONLY EXISTS IN CERTAIN PLACES AND IS LIMITED?YOU NEED HELP AND FAST!”

What you should do is disprove it with biblical verses and let’s talk about it, and not open your mouth without bases at all. Claiming is one thing. Proving is another thing. Prove your claim. Let’s base our beliefs from the bible if you believe in it. However, if you use other books, then just forget it.

  51. TO JSA: *** can you imagine this?: GOD IS IN A PLACE LIKE HELL? PROBABLY, HAVING A HOT COFFEE WITH SATAN? (that’s bullshit! pls. pardon the lingo ;-P)

my final words to this words of God in the Bible is …. AMEN!

    DOM; GALING! HE HE HE!

    AMEN!!!!

  52. TO: 29 Tina
TINA: I’VE NEVER READ ANYTHING SO IGNORANT IN ALL MY ENTIRE LIFE..HOW ON EARTH COULD ANYBODY WHO HAS CLAIMED TO READ THE WORD OF GOD BELIEVE THAT HE ONLY EXISTS IN CERTAIN PLACES AND IS LIMITED?

DOM: Just kindly post the verse that will say GOD IS EVERYWHERE. Things will be settled and we’ll come to REALIZATION who realy is…… IGNORANT!!!!

  53. TO ANGELA,
    TO POST#19

    WHAAATT!!! ARE YOU KIDDING ME?

WHO SAID AM NOT SHOUTING ANYMORE?
Capslock or not am always SHOUTING when am talking to the enemies of TRUTH.
IS.58:1″ CRY A LOUD” SPARE NOT, LIFT UP THY VOICE LIKE A TRUMPHET, AND SHOW MY PEOPLE THEIR TRANSGRESSION.

    TO POST #20

I DIDNT BOTHER TO CONTINUE MY REFUTE BECAUSE I HAVE ALREADY DEBUNKED HIS STUPID STATEMENT “THAT PAUL MADE HIMSELF A NECESSARY INTERMEDIARY” IN MY POST#206, EDEBATE FORUM. AND I ALSO DEBUNKED HIS STUPID ANTI-PAUL REMARKS IN POST#203 AND LAST PART WAS JUST “AN ICING ON THE CAKE” MY DEAR, MR. ADVENTIST GOT HIS INTERPETATION FROM A WRONG TRANSLATION.UNFORTUNATELY, MR. ANTI-PAUL WAS NOT ABLE TO MAKE A COME BACK TO REDEEM HIMSELF.WELL AM NOT SUPRISE, HE ALWAYS DO THAT.

THE LAST PART OF 1COR.2:13 IS SUPPOSE TO BE TRANSLATED AS” COMPARING SPRITUAL THINGS WITH SPIRITUAL INSTEAD OF “INTERPRETING SPIRITUAL THOUGHTS WITH THOSE WHO POSSES THE SPIRIT” WHICH COMPLTELY CHANGED THE THOUGHT OF THE ORIGINAL TRANSLATION.

UNFORTUNATELY MR. ADVENTIST USED THE WRONG TRANSLATION JUST TO MALIGN ST.PAUL. FOR THE RECORD, I ALREADY REFUTED HIS STAND REGARDING THE ISSUE SIMPLY BY SHOWING THE CORRECT TRANSLATION.

I HOPE U GOT THE POINT THERE ANGELA. IM GLAD THAT U WERE REALLY FOLLOWING THE FLOW OF ARGUMENTS IN EDEBATE FORUM.I INVITE YOU TO PLS PARTICIPATE ON THE NEXT EDEBATE TOPIC,OK?

  54. To Wolverine (mejo shouting k uli ah, pero ok na ngaun keysa dati! …. improving!!!!!)

Wolverine: i thought u believe GOD IS EVERYWHERE, then why say in your post#3 “IF THE SPIRIT OF GOD IS IN YOU, NO MATTER WHAT, U’LL END UP VICTORIOUS?”By believing that “GOD IS OMNIPRESENT”, you are compelled and oblige to accept that GOD’S SPIRIT IS IN BRO.ELI, thus making him victorious already.IF IN THAT ARGUEMENT ALONE YOU ARE ALREADY SHOWING YOU INCONSISTENCY OF YOUR “OMNIPRESENCE” THEN HOW ARE YOU GONNA LAST IN THE LONG RUN?
i suggest you compose yourself before barging into something that your not really learned of..

reply: I guess, the problem lies in the omission of those articles posted by Pro-omnipresent prior to # 3. Wolverine, CAN YOU SEE ANY ARTICLES OF PRO-OMNIPRESENT BEFORE # 3? YOU MUST READ IT FIRST BEFORE FIRING YOUR CONCLUSIVE REMARKS! why not ask the moderator/s of this BLOG? It is only a figurative statement out of desperation from Pro-Omnipresent! HIS ARTICLES WERE BEING MURDERED on its way, Yes at least 5 articles before #3 post were assasinated ! It is very important to your argument, it is a must for you to read it first.

Do not blame Pro-omnipresent! He is being misrepresented HERE!

Wolverine, can you protect his post? If yes, then He will re-appear again! If not, then what’s the use of making his counter-arguments against you?

BUT I can assure you he can make a sensible arguments and can answer you- point for point in this issue!

Be open-minded wolverine! and kindly understand him! Try to imagine you are HIM & you are trying your best to convey your thought and yet your post are being murdered along the way.

  55. maybe youve missed to read the bible, thats the reason why it is very hard for you to accept the biblical truth that God, the God of the Bible is not omnipresent. Search the truth in the bible before rating Bro eli as ignorant.

  56. “untruth bear”

God all knowing, God see’s all, God is ever present….My God can do anything, nothing is impossible for my God….

    Johnnie

this is concise but full of deceit.

1.God is not all knowing. there are things He doesn’t know.

2.God do not see all.there are things man usually see but God is impossible to see it (hahaha, i hope you will object, let’s see how your god can help you)

3.There are things impossible for God. there are certain things He cannot create. there are certain things He cannot see, there are certain things He cannot do.

now im waiting for truth(allegedly)bear to object….

  57. #44

Dmitri: Who told you either that God is present to those who considered blind? Can you cite a verse for that?

reply: It is self-explanatory! Do I need to cite a verse to prove that a man who’s borned blind cannot see the beauty of sunrise?

Topic: None is poor Dmitri, everyone has got rubies in his bundle. but how to open the knot he does not know and therefore he is a PAUPER!

Dmitri: Wrong analogy! If everyone have God with them, is there any need for God to command us to seek for him?

reply:That’s a clear analogy. Everyone has got rubies (GOD) in them, the problem is to open the knot. therefore God commanded us to seek for him (to open the knot). Do ye know that Ye are the temple of the living God? that God dwelleth in you?

Topic: You are a pauper Dmitri and certified ignorant of the truth. God reveals himself only to those who seek for him. He did not live high or low at all He is to be found in every heart, (ACTS 17) if you desire for him then seek him from your heart.

Dmitri: : Acts 17 doesn’t prove that God can be found in every heart. Is God in the heart of the fool mentioned in Psalms 14:1?

reply: Mr. Open-minded clearly stated that the essence of ACTS 17 is about where to worship God per se and not about debunking Omnipresence. And NO one in your camp ever attempted to sensibly counter his argument. In Psalm 14:1 that is true FOOLS has said in his heart that THERE IS NO GOD! He is a fool! Why? He doesnt know that He got a rubies in them thus in a way both of you are pauper!

  58. # 31 & 32

Wolverine: By believing that “GOD IS OMNIPRESENT”, you are compelled and oblige to accept that GOD’S SPIRIT IS IN BRO.ELI, thus making him victorious already. If I were to follow the logic of your statement, your implying that those who ended up not victorious “DOESN’T HAVE THE SPIRIT OF GOD,THEREFORE, MAKING YOUR “GOD IS OMNIPRESENT” ERRONOUS JUST BY USING YOUR OWN STATEMENT.GOD IS IN SATAN.IS THIS PART OF THE ESSENCE OF OMNIPRESENCE?

reply: Let me answer this one, the problem with you wolverine and your kind is that the Devil or SAtan for you is essentially that of being who is entirely dark and evil. For your information SAtan in the highest perspective is only responsible for the veil of duality and separation which has ben thrown over the oneness and purity of God. The negative power only moulds and projects the primal energy of God. SATAN HAS NO REALITY INDEPENDENT OF GOD. and because of your ignorance of the TRUTH his role in creation remain a PARADOX to each and everyone of you. But as soon as he is seen as an expression or a stepping down of the Lord’s power, then his function and existence becomes more INTELLIGIBLE.

    xxxxxxxx

Wolverine: WHAT VERSE WILL PROVE THAT GOD IS IN SATAN?

reply: Well, it seems to me that you are not inform about it, It’s ok brother I understand! There are some HINTS in the bible that conform to this issue. let me quote:

“I make peace and create evil. I the Lord do all these things. (Isaiah 45:7)

“Out of the mouth of the most High proceedeth not evil and good?” (Lamentations 3:38)

“Thus saith the Lord; Behold, I frame evil against you, and devise a device against you.” (Jeremiah 18:11)

“I gave them also statutes that were not good, and judgments whereby they should not live. And I polluted them in their own gifts, in that they caused to pass through the fire all that openeth the womb, that I might make them desolate, to the end that they might know that I am the Lord.” (Ezekiel 20:25, 26)

    ITim.6:16, & Proverbs 8:31,

then i will comeback to you?

LETS GET IT ON !!! For those belief is GOD IS EVERYWERE?

    xxxxxxxxx

reply: Let us post the verse in trial

“who alone is immortal and who lives in unapproachable light, whom no one has seen or can see. To him be honor and might forever”( ITim.6:16 )

Now, let us study and analyze I Tim. 6:16, let us extract the relevant passages.

    who alone is immortal

“The king eternal is IMMORTAL…” (I timothy 1:17)

No one has seen or can see

“The king eternal is INVISIBLE..” (I Tim. 1:17)

    UNAPPROACHABLE LIGHT?

Emily, someone was caught up in the THIRD HEAVEN during human life. It is clearly indicated by well known passages in II Corinthians.

    let us hear saint Paul:

” I will come to visions and revelations of the Lord, I knew a man in christ about fourteen years ago, (whether in the body, I cannot tell; or whether out of the body, I cannot tell: God knoweth) Such an one was caught up to the third heaven. All i know such a man (whether in the body or out of the body, I cannot tell, God knoweth), How that he was caught up into Paradise, and heard unspeakable words ( the UNSPEAKABLE WORDS?) which is not lawful (possible ) for a man to utter ” (II Cor. 12:1-4)

    UNAPPROACHABLE LIGHT? UNSPEAKABLE WORDS?

Unapproachable to whom? unspeakable to whom?

    Let us hear Jesus christ:

” Verily, verily, I say unto thee, WE SPEAK that we do know, and testify that we have SEEN; and ye receive not our witness. If I have told you earthly things, and ye believe not, HOW SHALL YE BELIEVE, IF I TELL YOU OF HEAVENLY THINGS? (John 3:11-12)

……..”WE” speak that we do know

……… testify that WE have seen

” It is given unto YOU, to KNOW the mysteries of KINGDOM OF HEAVEN, but to them it is not given. (mat. 13:11)

    Jesus said

“In my Father’s house are many mansions, if it were not so, I would have told you. I GO TO PREPARE A PLACE FOR YOU. And if I GO AND PREPARE A PLACE FOR YOU, I WILL COME AGAIN AND RECEIVE YOU UNTO MYSELF; THAT WHERE I AM YE MAY ALSO BE………………..THAT WHERE I AM YE MAY ALSO BE…………….THAT WHERE I AM YE MAY ALSO BE…..AND WHETHER I GO YE KNOW, AND THE WAY YE KNOW……..AND WHETHER I GO YE KNOW, AND THE WAY YE KNOW……AND WHETHER I GO YE KNOW, AND THE WAY YE KNOW….(.(John 14:2-4)

Here is my question Emily: God is Unapproachable to whom? Is that light approachable or not?

Is UNAPPROACHABLE LIGHT & UNSPEAKABLE WORDS Metaphorical or not?

Emily is there a need for me to explain Proverb 8:31?

Conclusion: I tim. 6:16 is not a safe ground for your belief that God is not Omnipresent.

  60. to tina:

I’VE NEVER READ ANYTHING SO IGNORANT IN ALL MY ENTIRE LIFE..HOW ON EARTH COULD ANYBODY WHO HAS CLAIMED TO READ THE WORD OF GOD BELIEVE THAT HE ONLY EXISTS IN CERTAIN PLACES AND IS LIMITED?YOU NEED HELP AND FAST!

oooppps careful hija, it is not us who said that there are places where God is not present – IT’S WRITTEN IN THE BIBLE. who are we to limit God? and who are we to attribute something to God that we’re not sure of?

NON believers are free to think WHATEVER THEY WANT- that’s your free will. on contrary, we believers are bound within the parameters of WORDS OF GOD.

as bro. eli clearly stated – our finite mind cannot fathom the infinite greatness of God. but He did not leave us clueless bout who HE is – it’s all written in the bible. you just have to seek it IN HIS BOOK. bottom line is, if you can find verses disproving what bro eli said, then lay it on.

one more thing, you implied that bro eli is claiming to have read the whole bible – well, if you’re in doubt – test him by all means.

as saying goes: claiming is one thing – proving is another thing.

it’s your chance to prove yourself by disproving what bro. eli said with the use of verses in the bible. if you can’t – THEN IT IS YOU WHO IS JUST CLAIMING SOMETHING. a fastmouthed person saying things she’s ignorant of and things she cannot prove.

  61. To Tina….maan,

I doubt if you read the bible. once again, the bible has many books. do not read verses what you only want to read. You judged quickly. Bro Eli showed you verse by verse. and it is the word of God. and the word of God is binded by His spirit. and yet here you are with no haste quickly judging what was written in the bible.

you should ask forgiveness!!! for it is the Spirit you are contesting!!!

    YOU NEED HELP AND FAST!!!!!

  62. TO KA ERDIE143,
    TO POST#70

WELL, IT APPEARS THAT YOUR BACK AGAIN.NOT TO MENTION THAT I HAVE SWIPED OUT YOUR ERRONOUS INTERPRETATION OF THE 1KING 8:27 ON EDEBATE, REMEMBER?hehehehhe..

but i cant blame you, i understand that you wanna redeem yurself from that humiliation.I hate to burst your bubble but i can already forsee the outcome of this, you’re gonna humiliate yourself again as always like vincent reyes who hasn’t come back since he had his fair share of humiliation, but i know he’s just there somewhere observing and so itching to reply, hehehhehe…

So what do we have here….AAAAHH! “THE DEVIL’S ADVOCATE”
I’ll give you that since you like to defend your father, este, satan i mean that he’s not that all evil for you.

U SAID: “the problem with you wolverine and your kind is that the devil or satan for you is essentially that of being who is “ENTIRELY DARK AND EVIL”

MY ANSWER; WOW! THAT ONE ALMOST TOOK MY BREATH AWAY! WATTA GUTS TO SAY THAT! Since satan is “ENTIRELY DARK AND EVIL” for us,
so its pretty obvious that u totally embrace the idea that “SATAN IS NOT ENTIRELY DARK AND EVIL” FOR YOU according to the flow of your statement.
And since satan is not entirely evil for you then you are compelled to accept that there’s a part in satan that is “NOT EVIL”, since it is “NOT EVIL” its must be “SOMETHING GOOD”, and since it is good it must be of “TRUTH”.
THEREFORE, FOR YOU, “THERE IS TRUTH IN SATAN” SINCE FOR YOU “SATAN IS NOT THAT ENTIRELY EVIL”

According to JN 8:44″ YOU ARE of your fahter the devil, and the lust of your father YOU will do.He was a MURDERER from the begining, and abode NOT IN TRUTH, BECAUSE THERE IS NO TRUTH IN HIM.

Now here’s the catch, there’s “NO TRUTH IN SATAN”, so how
could it be possible that “SATAN IS NOT THAT ENTIRELY EVIL” when the bible clearly states thats there’s no truth in him.Since it says THERE’S NOT TRUTH IN HIM, wolverine(thats me) and his kind r incline to believe that EVERYTHING IN SATAN IS EVIL BECAUSE THERE’S NOT TRUTH IN HIM, Therefore making sATAN” ENTIRELY EVIL”

IN SUMMATION THE IDEA “SATAN IS NOT THAT ENTIRELY EVIL” IS FROM HELL! ACCORDING TO THE BIBLE.

I WONDER HOW MUCH SATAN IS PAYING YOU FOR BEING HIS ADVOCATE AND DEFENDER….

  63. TO ERDIE143,
    TO POST #70

My question was “WHAT VERSE WILL PROVE THAT GOD IS IN SATAN?”

u said: Well, it seems to me that you are not inform about it, its ok brother I understand. There are hints in the bible that conforms to this issue, let me quote:
“I make peace and create evil.(Is.45:7)
“Out of the mouth of the Most High proceedeth not evil and good?”(Lam.3:38)
“Thus saith the Lord; behold, I frame evil against you, and device against you.(jer.18:11)
    and EZ.20:25

MY ANSWER: Yes, i must admitt that i was not informed, I WAS NOT INFORMED THAT YOU WERE THAT DUMB.In your desperation to defend satan u ended up looking stupid. All of those verses that you supplied did not in any manner say that
    “GOD IS IN SATAN”.

=(Is.45:7), the evil mentioned that was created by GOD, was that satan? are all evil satan?, to insinuate that evil refers to satan and to conclude that GOD IS IN SATAN.For your info, the EVIL mentioned there was calamity and not demons as what you were trying to imply.

=(lam.3:38),the evil proceedeth from the mouth of the Most High, was that satan again? What part of the statement says “GOD IS IN SATAN” there. ARE YOU IN DIZZY SPELLS?hehehhe…

=(jer.18:11), the EVIL that was framed against someone, was that satan again?THERES NO “GOD IS IN SATAN” IN THAT VERSE.

=(ez.20:25,26),THE PASSAGE IN ANY MANNER DOESNT SAY IN ANY MANNER AT ALL THAT GOD IS IN SATAN.

COMPOSE YOURSELF ERDIE!!! DONT BE TOOO HARD ON YOURSLF, DNT FORCE YOURSELF, YOU MIGHT GO INSANE FOR DEFENDING YOUR CLIENT.

THERE’S NO POINT IN FIGHTING BACK, YOUR CAMP IS DESTINED TO LOOSE.

IF I WERE YOU, MAKE THE SWITCH NOW, WHILE YOU STILL CAN.

  64. Repost with permisssion from Mr. Open-minded

    (Exposing ACTS 17)

note: Do not underestimate our conformities in ideas about Omnipresence of God. Not all conformities in ideas is wrong, Emerson was talking in general terms, but there is always an exception in every rule.

Very ironic!, You are all followers of Paul, and yet you misunderstood your own apostle. You took him out of context, Are you all familiar that Paul has a mystic disposition? If not then you are not a keen observer like JSA, but a blind believer who usually leave their brain behind. Let me post the relevant verses

“Now, while paul waited for them at athens, his spirit was stirred in him when he saw the city wholly given to idolatry”. (Acts 17:16)

…………….Key word :”Idolatry” (read II Cor. 6:16)

“For as I passed by, and beheld your devotions, I found an altar with this inscription, To the UNKNOWN GOD Whom therefore ye IGNORANTLY WORSHIP, him declare unto you (Acts 17:23)

………..key words: “To the UNKNOWN God”, “Ye Ignorantly Worship” (read: I Cor. 3:16-17)

“God that made the world and all things therein seeing that he is lord of Heaven and earth, DWELLETH NOT IN TEMPLES MADE WITH HANDS. (Acts 17:24).

For paul what’s the real temple of God? Let us hear from him:

“Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the spirit of God dwelleth in you? If any man defile the temple
of God, him shall God destroy, for the temple of God is holy, which temple ye are” (I Cor. 3:16-17)

    While on idolatry he said:

“What agreement hath the temple of God with idols? for ye are the temple of the living God, as God hath said I will dwell in them, and walk in them, and I will be their God and they shall be my people ( II Cor. 6:16)

    On the body he said:

“Now the body is not for fornification, but for the Lord; and the lord for the body” (I cor. 6:13)

“What! know ye not that YOUR BODY is the temple of the HOly Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own?(I cor. 6:19)

“for ye are bought with a price; therefore GLORIFY GOD IN YOUR BODY, and in your spirit which are God’s ( I cor. 6:20)

Do you believe now that that the Lord must be worship within the human frame?

    Jesus informed us:

…….”Destroy this temple!” …………..but he spoke of the temple of his body…….”

…..”neither shall they say, lo there, or lo there, for , behold the kingdom of God is within you”

or simply to put it in BOLD LETTERS: THE KINGDOM OF GOD IS WITHIN YOU.

Brothers and sisters, reading ACts 17:23 as it is, will lead us into the trap of our own ignorance. but if we will look carefully, dissecting the statements (ACTS 17) while focusing on the significance of the narration (extracting the oil) will lead us to common denominator which is: WHERE TO WORSHIP GOD (whether is it within us (body) or outside of us-man made temple) He’s referring to where can we behold the lord per se. and he presented us his disposition in his letters to the Corinthians. In short you all missed the “OIL” of his message and thus you were again trick by your own
way of literalism by taking the context as it is.

Oil of the narration: It is not about Omnipresence per se, but where to worship God per se, do you follow? Is it clear or
is it not? If not clear then stay with me.

YOu see, this is a simple truth yet perhaps one man in a million makes his actual search for God within. We prefer
to run to a man-made structure and offer an external brand of worship to a God like what they were doing as narrated by Paul in the first century.

In paul’s narration lies a mystic secret and yet you failed to see it. The lord who is the supreme object of our search, is not to be found anywhere outside, he must be realized within the human frame.

In conclusion Acts 17:24, did not debunk God’s attribute of Omnipresence, it is the Oil of Paul’s message
that debunked your faulty understanding of it.

    ——————————————————————————-

(Exposing “Our father who art in heaven)

    # 5 Rock: You wrote and quoted: No. God is not everywhere. God is in heaven as what our Lord Jesus Christ taught us in Matthew 6:9 After this manner therefore pray ye: Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Matthew 6:9 King James Version.

my response:Is God present in the earth? yes or no? Is God dwelleth in you, Yes or no? If he is essentially present in all places, then He is omnipresent. Our lord Jesus christ used the word “Which art in heaven” only as a gesture of symbolic representation of his exaltation about his Father far beyond earthly things. It is simply a glorious self-manifestation of God, but certainly not that he is bound or limited to heaven. though heaven is his throne but still earth is his footstool (Isaiah 66:1) Do you understand? The problem with you guys is your habit of literal interpretation, taking the wordings as it is. YOu see, God is beyond all human description (beyond alphabets and arithmetic) and most of the time writers ascribed antrophomorphic attributes towards him just to say a hint about him, and this limitation of languages does not reflect in His nature, but to us whom the message is to be conveyed or in other words those words are employed b’coz of the weakeness of our understanding. How can we contain or limit the presence of that Great SPirit ?

It is true, Literalist christian are very far from the truth they will never understand the nature of God because they are
not familiar with “real knowing” that is when the individual self evaporates and the true self merge in Him, it is the only time that we can understand HIM,So without removing first the causes of ignorance, there cannot be “real knowing” and to seek for it when the mind is still in ignorance is utterly empty, it is meaningless. Everything aside from that are just a mere decoration offering a little.

As of now, you’re all living in the domain of relative truth where duality exist. Your so called absolute truth is just a by-product of your own conditioning of the mind and therefore, it is very relative. Your absolute truth is still within the domain of relative truth, even your relative reality is just a a result of your own conceived notion of relative truth that is why most of your absolute truth are quite relative to those “open-minded observers” in this forum, this I can speak to you absolutely without any trace of relativeness b’coz I am a
living witness of your relative reality speaking in the light of your relative truth.

Lastly, brothers and sisters, be very careful with your habit of literal interpretation like taking the verses as it is. Sooner or later your cherished habit of literalism will put you INTO your own ditch.

  65. You said: (Proverbs 15:3) “The eyes of the LORD are in every place, beholding the evil and the good.” If God is everywhere, as other religions claim, the Bible should not have said that the eyes of the Lord are in every place. It will contradict the law of logic. Does it mean that the eyes of God, His very eyes, are everywhere? Of course, not! His eyes are in His being; but can see even beyond the material universe we know.

    >>>>
Reply: Too literal!, The “EYES” of the lord is figurative! it simply means that HE IS EVERYWHERE. King Solomon ascribed humanly attributes to HIM just to convery his thought using our own alphabet.

How can a spirit have eyes? A SPIRIT has a DIRECT PERCEPTION! NO need of eyes, ears, nose and humanly way of understanding things.

His “EYES” simply is HIS PRESENCE

You wrote: As the heaven is unfathomable, God’s thinking and ways are like the unfathomable heavens by earthlings. We are not allowed by any authority in the Bible to ascribeanything to God, whether it seems like adding honor and glory to Him! Why? God does not change. He is infinitely the same from everlasting to everlasting.

reply: Let us hear our Lord Jesus Christ, let me quote:

“I have given THEM , THY WORD.. BECAUSE THEY ARE NOT OF THIS WORLD, EVEN AS I AM NOT OF THIS WORLD” ( John 17:14)

(mat. 13:11)

    ……given unto YOU…..To KNOW!

  66. To Tina:

I’m sorry to say this but you are the ignorant one, ignorant of the scriptures.

    Act 17:24

    The God that made the world and all things therein, he, being Lord of heaven and earth, DWELLETH NOT IN TEMPLES MADE WITH HANDS;

Does He dwell in temples made with hands? If you say He does… then are you saying the apostle Paul is a liar?

Be not ignorant, I’m sure your intelligent enough to see from this one verse that your belief is wrong.

Now that’s just one verse…Bro. Eli is able to shower you with verses proving your ignorant claim.

Bro. Eli Hasn’t only ‘read’ the Bible, with God’s help he is also able to understand it.

  67. 1. I remember Bro. Eli gave an assignment to pastors and ministers.

“Where is God BEFORE He created heaven and earth?”

Ministers of satan from JEWS PHILIPPINES, INC. in DILIMan answered, “in heaven!” ????????????? Ha?

Now, one of their cohort is asking if he needs to explain Proverbs 8:31. Funny Jews! 🙂 Eeehh, simpleng-simple eh! 🙂

    2. “Dmitri: Who told you either that God is present to those who considered blind? Can you cite a verse for that?

reply: It is self-explanatory! Do I need to cite a verse to prove that a man who’s borned blind cannot see the beauty of sunrise?”

Dimitri, I think, was talking about:

2 Corinthians 4:4  In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them.

The reply talked about a man who is born blind. 🙂 Sablay! Eehh simpleng-simple eehh! 🙂

    3. “Dmitri: Wrong analogy!

    a. Everyone should notice that Paul, when he said this verse:

1 Corinthians 3:16  ¶Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you?

    and:

2 Corinthians 6:16  And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? for ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people.

…he was talking unto the CHURCH OF GOD, which was at Corinth, AND NOT TO EVERYONE.

    b. If everyone got God in them, then Paul would have been wrong when he said:

Acts 17:27  That they should seek the Lord, if haply they might feel after him, and find him, though he be not far from every one of us:

    Not far = near, right?
Near meaning, not IN every one of us, right?

But Paul is not wrong when he said that. In fact, satan filled Ananias’ heart.

Acts 5:3  But Peter said, Ananias, why hath Satan filled thine heart to lie to the Holy Ghost, and to keep back part of the price of the land?

    c. If everyone got God in them, members of IGLESIA NI CRISTO NI MANALO should not have killed the 5 students of PUP, right?

Because christians wrestle not in flesh and blood.

Ephesians 6:12  For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.

But JEWS PHILIPPINES, INC. members do, making them NOT CHRISTIANS.

    4. Topic: You are a pauper Dmitri and certified ignorant of the truth. God reveals himself only to those who seek for him. He did not live high or low at all He is to be found in every heart, (ACTS 17) if you desire for him then seek him from your heart.

    a. If this is true, was Paul seeking for God when he heard the voice of the Lord?

Acts 9:3  And as he journeyed, he came near Damascus: and suddenly there shined round about him a light from heaven:
4  And he fell to the earth, and heard a voice saying unto him, Saul, Saul, why persecutest thou me?
5  And he said, Who art thou, Lord? And the Lord said, I am Jesus whom thou persecutest: it is hard for thee to kick against the pricks.

    No!

Acts 9:1  ¶And Saul, yet breathing out threatenings and slaughter against the disciples of the Lord, went unto the high priest,
2  And desired of him letters to Damascus to the synagogues, that if he found any of this way, whether they were men or women, he might bring them bound unto Jerusalem.

    b. Paul was in fact persecuting the the church which was at Jersusalem.

Acts 8:1  ¶And Saul was consenting unto his death. And at that time there was a great persecution against the church which was at Jerusalem; and they were all scattered abroad throughout the regions of Judaea and Samaria, except the apostles.

    c. Therefore, God does not ONLY reveal Himself (although not Himself per se, because of 1 Tim 6:16) to those who seek him, but also to chosen vessels unto Him, like Paul.

Acts 9:15  But the Lord said unto him, Go thy way: for he is a chosen vessel unto me, to bear my name before the Gentiles, and kings, and the children of Israel:

    5. “reply: Mr. Open-minded clearly stated that the essence of ACTS 17 is about where to worship God per se and not about debunking Omnipresence. And NO one in your camp ever attempted to sensibly counter his argument.”

No wonder why, because MANALO came from his religion. 🙂

Acts 17 was about where to worship God? Your pasugo mentioned that God dwells in your temples such as one shown in a picture, which is in total contrary to Acts 17:24.
The essence that you are mentioning is only from your itchy mind.

If God does not dwell in temples made with hands, then He is not there. He is not omnipresent = or NOT present everywhere at once.

  68. 1. “reply: Let me answer this one, the problem with you wolverine and your kind is that the Devil or SAtan for you is essentially that of being who is entirely dark and evil. But as soon as he is seen as an expression or a stepping down of the Lord’s power, then his function and existence becomes more INTELLIGIBLE.”

HAAAAA? NO REALITY INDEPENDENT OF GOD? HA? STORIES TOLD! If God is also in satan, then this verse is not true:

Job 1:12  And the LORD said unto Satan, Behold, all that he hath is in thy power; only upon himself put not forth thine hand. So Satan went forth from the presence of the LORD.

SATAN WENT FORTH FROM THE PRESENCE OF THE LORD. See? Well, you are blinded by your father (John 8:44, 2 Cor 4:4).

But the thing is, this verse in the bible is true. What you have are inventions. ALL FABRICATED BASELESS STORIES! IMBENTO!

  69. 1. Here is my question Emily: God is Unapproachable to whom? Is that light approachable or not?

1 Timothy 6:16  Who only hath immortality, dwelling in the light which no man can approach unto; whom no man hath seen, nor can see: to whom be honour and power everlasting. Amen.

…No MAN can approach unto. No MAN had seen, nor can see.

    But how about JESUS?

John 1:18  No man hath seen God at any time; the only begotten Son, which is in the bosom of the Father, he hath declared him.

    John 13:3  Jesus knowing that the Father had given all things into his hands, and that he was come from God, and went to God;

    IS HE MAN? 🙂

  70. HANDOG NA SUSUNUGIN,

    1. You asked, “Here is my question Emily: God is Unapproachable to whom? Is that light approachable or not? ”

    John 13:3 Jesus knowing that the Father had given all things into his hands, and that he was come from God, and went to God;

    IS HE MAN? 🙂

  71. To tina:
maybe youve missed to read the bible, thats the reason why it is very hard for you to accept the biblical truth that God, the God of the Bible is not omnipresent. Search the truth in the bible before rating Bro eli as ignorant.

  72. To Erdie_handog143,

Can you suggest in NET 25 to put program like “Itanong mo kay Manalo?” If your Manalo cannot do that your Manalo is not true, because according to

1 PETER 3:15 “But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts: and be ready always to give an answer to every man that asketh you a reason of the hope that is in you with meekness and fear:”

Where are you Manalo? If you are true why we cannot us you……..
Put program to NET 25 “Itanong mo kay Manalo Live”……

And let see if you true………Prove your church if is true and your sugo one of the wise not a wicked one written in Daniel 12:10……..

(Daniel 12:10) “Many shall be purified, and made white, and tried; but the wicked shall do wickedly: and none of the wicked shall understand; but the wise shall understand. ”

Put program to NET 25 “Itanong mo kay Manalo Live”……Or put Blog like this….
Can you do this? O daldal lang kayo?

  73. to OMNIpresent

give your contact number so we can call you for what you want………….our preacher never afraid in debate

if you do not give your number….thats means you are the one who afraid……

claiming is one thing but proving is another thing…ok?

  74. TO ERDIE_HANDOG (na susunugin?)143:

You said: It is self-explanatory! Do I need to cite a verse to prove that a man who’s borned blind cannot see the beauty of sunrise?

My response: WOW!!! Self-explanatory! At last you admit that its all coming with yourself and not in the Bible! Did you read 2Peter 1:20? Let me allow to quote it with you:

“Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation”.

Does self-explanatory has room in seeking the truth? I admonish you to practice what Isaiah 34:16 says and may I quote for the sake of your soul: “Seek all of you out of the book of the LORD, and read: no one of these shall fail, none shall lack her mate: for my mouth it has commanded, and his spirit it has gathered them.”

You said: That’s a clear analogy. Everyone has got rubies (GOD) in them, the problem is to open the knot. therefore God commanded us to seek for him (to open the knot). Do ye know that Ye are the temple of the living God? that God dwelleth in you?

My response: Your analogy is illogical. If everyone have God with them, is there any need for God to command us to seek for him? Logic dictates that if I have that something, do I have to seek for that? What confuses you is what St. Paul have said in 2Cor. 6:16 because you don’t understand what St. Paul means. When St. Paul had said that you are the temple of God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, does he addressed it to all people? Remember that St. Paul is speaking to the members of Church of God. Does all people considered to be temple of God? I don’t think so. Because there are people the time when they born, they considered a natural brute beast (2Peter 2:12). Are these people as a natural brute beast can be considered as a temple of God? By the way, do you have any idea what is temple of God means in the bible? Does this temple of God pertains only to a certain individual? Well, those are the things for you to ponder.

You said: Mr. Open-minded clearly stated that the essence of ACTS 17 is about where to worship God per se and not about debunking Omnipresence. And NO one in your camp ever attempted to sensibly counter his argument.

My response: Oh really! Mr. Open-minded is indirectly admitting that God is not everywhere by citing that the essence of ACTS 17 is about WHERE (not everywhere) to worship God. Meaning that God can be worship in a certain place. Isn’t it a sort of debunking God’s omnipresence?

You said: In Psalm 14:1 that is true FOOLS has said in his heart that THERE IS NO GOD! He is a fool! Why? He doesnt know that He got a rubies in them thus in a way both of you are pauper!

My response: It seem that you are adversary of what is written in the bible. The bible already state that the fool mentioned in Psalms 14:1 doesn’t have God but you still insists that there is. Cite a verse in the bible that proves that the fool mentioned in this particular verse have God with him but the problem is that he/she doesn’t know that he/she have God with him. Puro ka kwento wala namang kwenta!

    RE: Post # 70

First of all, the verses that you have provided don’t imply that God is in Satan! Your HINTS are verses which were taken out of context! … a result of having no understanding of the scriptures. Let me now post your conversation with Wolverine:

YOU SAID: reply: Let me answer this one, the problem with you wolverine and your kind is that the Devil or SAtan for you is essentially that of being who is entirely dark and evil. For your information SAtan in the highest perspective is only responsible for the veil of duality and separation which has ben thrown over the oneness and purity of God.

    ———————

You have taken the verse out of context. The evil that God will create is not pertaining to Satan at all! It is God’s action in relevance to what people do. If you do what is good, God will make peace with you. But if you do what is evil, God will repay you with evil accordingly!

This is clearly seen if you will start reading from verse 2:

Isa 45:2 “I will go before thee, and make the crooked places straight: I will break in pieces the gates of brass, and cut in sunder the bars of iron:”

Isa 45:6 “That they may know from the rising of the sun, and from the west, that there is none beside me. I am the LORD, and there is none else.”

Isa 45:7 “I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things.”

There are people who do not acknowledge God according to the verses. They have done what is evil. God will make himself known unto them by means of repaying them of their evil ways!

That is where the statement of God came from and it is not like what you made it appear that God created and caused the evil of Satan! How foolish of you to HINT that!

    ——————————-

Your misunderstanding of the next verse that you used as basis is even worse! Let us read:

“Out of the mouth of the most High proceedeth not evil and good?” (Lamentations 3:38)

Is that pronouncement written in the scriptures, coming from God? Let us read the entire context once again:

Lam 3:37-38 “Who is he that saith, and it cometh to pass, when the Lord commandeth it not? Out of the mouth of the most High proceedeth not evil and good?

Those words did not come from God. It is just this (he) who said that! Whose words are those? Let us read in verse 39:

Wherefore doth a living man complain, a man for the punishment of his sins?

Those kinds of statements came from a man who complains from receiving punishment of his sins! He is questioning God by those words that he said.

Better read the entire context and make sure whose words you are using as basis! Tsk! Tsk! Tsk!

    ———————————-

Here’s another verse that you used as basis:

“Thus saith the Lord; Behold, I frame evil against you, and devise a device against you.” (Jeremiah 18:11)

Let us again read the context first. In verse 10, it says:

Jeremiah 18:10 If it do evil in my sight, that it obey not my voice, then I will repent of the good, wherewith I said I would benefit them.

“Thus saith the Lord; Behold, I frame evil against you, and devise a device against you.” (Jeremiah 18:11)

Same thing again, this action of God is just in accordance to the evil that men do. God is a God of justice, what you sow, that you shall reap. If you have sowed evil, then you will harvest evil as payment that you deserve.

God is justice and He will repay you according to what you have done, whether it be good or evil.

The verses that you have provided are not proofs that God is indeed in Satan! The evil being mentioned refers to His punishment that evil doers shall receive as their reward!

You are very misled. What your preachers have taught you are poisons to your being.

The moderator is of course human and of course he’s prone to error and lapses sometime. But i can assure the incedent that happenedd to pro-omnipresent was “NOT DELIBERATE”.

And there’s no reason to murder his posts angela, what is he? some kinda super well versed in the bible, as if his posts were very compelling and the moderator has no choice but tho murder his posts bec we might not be able to answer it? OF COURSE NOT!!! BWAAHAHAHAH!!!! THAT’S VERY SILLY OF YOU SUGAR! Almost everyone of us here experienced that minor flaw. If i were you, why dont you tell your friend stop being a sissy and try to post it again, am very sure the moderator will take note of your complaint.

  79. To Post #29 Tina

“I’VE NEVER READ ANYTHING SO IGNORANT IN ALL MY ENTIRE LIFE. HOW ON EARTH COULD ANYBODY WHO HAS CLAIMED TO READ THE WORD OF GOD BELIEVE THAT HE ONLY EXISTS IN CERTAIN PLACES AND IS LIMITED? YOU NEED HELP AND FAST!”

Tina (Maan) as I call you… I guess you’re not reading your Bible that why you’re saying these things… Pity on you…. You’re the one who needs help very fast.

Please site verses in the Bible, proving that God is everywhere or omnipresent… support your claim with verses. Because if not then shut your mouth. It’s clear that what Bro. Eli has laid down is enough to prove that God really is not everywhere…

Granting that what you have read is so Ignorant then prove it. Prove yourself. Prove your stand. Back up your claim if not by verses in the Bible maybe by facts. When we say everywhere (Synonyms: all over the places, in all places, all over & ubiquitously) it means all places so if you said everywhere there is nothing in this world or beyond this world that God cannot be there because all are places, so if God is everywhere, He Is in your Anus? If God is everywhere, He is in a Cabaret? If God is everywhere, He is in a Toilet Bowl? And Hell is also a place; does it mean God is in Hell? It can’t be, you are degrading my God; you are dishonoring, disgracing and embarrassing my God. So how you can say that it’s ignorant when you yourself cannot even site verses to prove your claim… Shame on you…

    ————————————————————
I’ll site what Bro. Eli said:

The Bible says that the eyes of God are everywhere.

(Proverbs 15:3) “The eyes of the LORD are in every place, beholding the evil and the good.”

If God is everywhere, as other religions claim, the Bible should not have said that the eyes of the Lord are in every place. It will contradict the law of logic. Does it mean that the eyes of God, His very eyes, are everywhere? Of course, not! His eyes are in His being; but can see even beyond the material universe we know.”
    ————————————————————-

This is the truth!! It’s is written in the Bible… you can read it PROVERBS 15:3. It’s the eyes of God which is in every place not HIM…

Example: I can see in TV the war that is happening in Iraq, does it mean I’m there, my eyes can see but it doesn’t mean I’m there. I’m only mortal but I can see what is happening on the other side of the earth much more is God who is so powerful, He doesn’t need to be everywhere, His eyes is already powerful enough to see even hidden things.

… If you said that how on earth could a person like Bro. Eli Soriano who has read the word of God and believe that God ONLY exist in certain places.. Indeed Bro Eli can claim that God really exist in certain places because he already read the entire pages of the Bible from cover to cover and not just 1 Bible but different translation of the Bible…

Bro. Eli laid the foundation and supporting verses in the Bible proving that God is not really everywhere and you don’t want to believe… I guess you have your own understanding then prove what you understand… Discuss it with us maybe what you know is correct… But for now if you cannot prove your accusation to Bro. Eli Soriano, then shut you mouth & sleep..

My advice to you Is stop reading science fiction comics and drink lots of water and please start reading your Bible, don’t make it your home decoration…

  80. 76 HANDOG NA SUSUNUGIN & OPEN,

    1. You said, “Very ironic!, You are all followers of Paul, and yet you misunderstood your own apostle.”

Ha? Look who’s talking now? SDAC do not believe in Paul, yet using Paul’s writings? 🙂 ESTOPPEL! I remember ADVENTIST777 was against Paul when he do not understand what the Lord Jesus Christ said. 🙂

    2. You said, “but if we will look carefully, dissecting the statements (ACTS 17) while focusing on the significance of the narration (extracting the oil) will lead us to common denominator which is: WHERE TO WORSHIP GOD (whether is it within us (body) or outside of us-man made temple) ”

HANDOG NA SUSUNUGIN, di ka ba kinikilabutan? Where to worship God daw? Your PASUGO said that you people of IGLESIA NI CRISTONG TAONG-TAO should worship GOD in your KAPILYAS such as one pictured therein because it is the DWELLING PLACE OF GOD.

The explanation that you used from OPEN is BIG SLAP on your face.

    3. You cited 1 Corinthians 3:16-17 and 2 Corinthians 6:16.

What you did not SEE is that Paul was talking unto the CHURCH OF GOD, which was at Corinth – AND NOT TO EVERYONE!

a.1 Corinthians 1:1 Paul, called to be an apostle of Jesus Christ through the will of God, and Sosthenes our brother,
2 Unto the church of God which is at Corinth, to them that are sanctified in Christ Jesus, called to be saints, with all that in every place call upon the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, both theirs and ours:

    b. 2 Corinthians 1:1 Paul, an apostle of Jesus Christ by the will of God, and Timothy our brother, unto the church of God which is at Corinth, with all the saints which are in all Achaia:

    4. You said, “In paul’s narration lies a mystic secret and yet you failed to see it. The lord who is the supreme object of our search, is not to be found anywhere outside, he must be realized within the human frame.

I just wonder how someone who does not believe in Paul, was able to see the mystic secret that lies in his narration. HEHEHE! Hypocrites! J

But Ha? NOT TO BE FOUND ANYWHERE OUTSIDE? Then He is not everywhere! A fish is really caught throughy its mouth. And like ENTENG, you both are small ones.

    5. You said, “In conclusion Acts 17:24, did not debunk God’s attribute of Omnipresence, it is the Oil of Paul’s message
that debunked your faulty understanding of it.”

In contrary, if He does not dwell there, therefore, I conclude that, GOD IS NOT OMNIPRESENT = NOT IN EVERY PLACE AT ONCE.

  81. 76 HANDOG NA SUSUNUGIN & OPEN,

    1. You asked, “Is God present in the earth? yes or no?

Not everywhere (like in temples made with hands) on earth.

    Acts 17:24 God that made the world and all things therein, seeing that he is Lord of heaven and earth, dwelleth not in temples made with hands;

    2. You asked ,”Is God dwelleth in you, Yes or no?”

    In christians, YES!

1 John 3:24 And he that keepeth his commandments dwelleth in him, and he in him. And hereby we know that he abideth in us, by the Spirit which he hath given us.

But NOT IN EVERYONE like Ananias.

Acts 5:3 But Peter said, Ananias, why hath Satan filled thine heart to lie to the Holy Ghost, and to keep back part of the price of the land?

    3. You said, “If he is essentially present in all places, then He is omnipresent.”

WRONG! IT’S JUST ONE OF MAN’S INVENTION! NOT BIBLICAL.

    4. You said, “Our lord Jesus christ used the word “Which art in heaven” only as a gesture of symbolic representation of his exaltation about his Father far beyond earthly things.”

    Ha? BASELESS!

If God is everywhere, Jesus shouldn’t have looked up to heaven when he blessed the food. J

Luke 9:16 Then he took the five loaves and the two fishes, and looking up to heaven, he blessed them, and brake, and gave to the disciples to set before the multitude.

If God is everywhere, His voice should have come from everywhere. J

Matthew 3:17 And lo a voice from heaven, saying, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.

J But God is really not everywhere. Jesus was right WHEN (time element) He said that His Father is IN heaven.

    5. You said, “The problem with you guys is your habit of literal interpretation, taking the wordings as it is.”

Ha? Look who’s talking now? I remember your COHORT, WILLIAM asked how come one is CRUCIFIED WITH JESUS when there were ONLY TWO who were beside Him when He was crucified. And concluded Paul was a deceiver. HAHAH! How ignorant! Who took it literally? J

    6. You said, “YOu see, God is beyond all human description (beyond alphabets and arithmetic) and most of the time writers ascribed antrophomorphic attributes towards him just to say a hint about him, and this limitation of languages does not reflect in His nature, but to us whom the message is to be conveyed or in other words those words are employed b’coz of the weakeness of our understanding.”

And who is doing it now? YOU – ascribing antrophomorphic attributes. Saying God is OMNIPRESENT, OMNISCIENT, ETC… when even the bible does not mention any of these.

    7. You said, “Lastly, brothers and sisters, be very careful with your habit of literal interpretation like taking the verses as it is. Sooner or later your cherished habit of literalism will put you INTO your own ditch.”

You should tell WILLIAM, ADVENTIST777, GWEN, and your COHORTS that.

You know, we are not literalist. It’s just that in the bible, there are really both literal things and not.

2 Corinthians 4:18 While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal.

So we take literal things literally and non-literal things not literally.

  85. Pulpit Magazine has an encouraging series of articles about Jon Stewart. Nathan Busea says that, in a world that’s plagued with broken promises, the Bible practically invites us to get our hopes up — hope that is appropriately applied of course.
Here are the top five reasons you can have absolute confidence in Jon Stewart
    1. His Person: We can hope in Jon Stewart because of who He is. Jon Stewart’s person — specifically, His wisdom, righteousness, and unchanging nature — allow us to trust Him because of who He is. His words are certain because His character is certain. Thus, as Hebrews 6:18 puts it: “It is impossible for Jon Stewart to lie.”
    2. His Power: We can hope because Jon Stewart is in control. Is there anything in the universe outside of Jon Stewart’s control? No! In fact, every potential danger we might face in life is under the supervision of an all-powerful Jon Stewart. … Because He is in control of all things, no circumstance, setting, or individual exists or acts without Jon Stewart’s permission.
    3. His Plan: We Can Hope Because Jon Stewart Knows Exactly What He’s Doing. The apostle Paul declares that “in all things Jon Stewart works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose” (Romans 8:28). In other words, Jon Stewart uses every circumstance and every person in our lives for our spiritual betterment — to make us more like Jon.
    4. His Past Record: We can hope because Jon Stewart has always been faithful before. Jon Stewart’s faithfulness is not just an abstract part of who He is. Rather, it is an attribute that has been proven throughout history time and time again. As Christians, by remembering Jon Stewart’s provision and protection in the past, we can hope expectantly in Him for the present and the future.
    5. His Parental Care: We can hope because Jon Stewart loves us. If Jon Stewart who is love (1 John 4:8) loves us (1 John 4:10) then we can be confident that He will never let us down (Romans 8:38–39). With Paul we can confidently assert that, “hope does not disappoint us, because Jon Stewart has poured out his love into our hearts by the Holy Spirit, whom he has given us” (Romans 5:5).
These are magnificent Truths about Jon Stewart. But in times of trials, it’s not enough to know them, to believe that they are true. We have to abide in them daily, even hourly if necessary. Just like Peter in Matthew 14:30, we will sink if we’re distracted by our circumstances, the tumultuous storm that surrounds us. So our hope appropriately applied is “having the absolute certainty that everything is all right because” we see Jon Stewart waking on the water.

indeed God is everlasting, but He has His limitations (i cannot blame you because its either your preacher doesnt read te bible to you or your preacher is a false prophet) good example of His limitations are the things He cannot do. although He is the Almighty, there are certain things He cannot do

    1. He cannot lie.
    In hope of eternal life, which God, that cannot lie, promised before the world began;
    Titus 1:2

    2. He cannot create a human more merciful than Himself

    3. He cannot renew unto repentance those who shall fall away that were once enlightened, and have tasted of the heavenly gift, and were made partakers of the Holy Ghost , And have tasted the good word of God, and the powers of the world to come. (Hebrews 6:4-6)

4.He cannot see anybody that is greater than Himself.

now does God has limitations? absolutely yes. He is limited to certain things. so anybody who will say God has no limitations is an ignorant of her own ignorance

My question, Bro., isn’t it logical to conclude that if heaven of heavens cannot contain thee, the more he will not dwell on earth or to the house built by hand? Right? So he is not everywhere… right?

So, what’s more practical thing to consider and understand… Definitely, God will be in a place where He will be contained… right? Clear naman po ang verse…

Bro., DO YOU WANT TO KNOW WHAT THAT PLACE IS?

Just keep on reading Bro. Eli’s posts, watch ang Dating Daan, UNTV 37 (local channel, on for 24 hours a day), or better attend our worship service, prayer meeting and specially our THANKSGIVING DAY every Saturday, or listen to our INDOCTRINATION… I’m 200% sure you will find out WHERE THE SPIRIT OF GOD WANTS TO DWELL.

Welcome, Bro.! We love you! Thanks be to God!

if it is not, then i’ll be waiting in the href=”https://esoriano.wordpress.com/edebate-4/”>dedicated page and discuss this with you.

Bro Dominik, (you said): Isn’t it logical to conclude that if heaven of heavens cannot contain thee, the more he will NOT dwell on earth or to the house built by hand? Right? So he is not everywhere… right?

Bro. Dominik, I believed it is more practical to consider earth and house built by men are NOT enough to contain God because EVEN the heaven and the highest heaven can NOT contain him; and not the other way around. Proof is in Jeremiah 23:23-24 God FILLS both Heaven and Earth. If God fills both heaven and earth, isn’t it safe to conclude, God is both in heaven and earth, thus, everywhere? If I filled 2 cups with water, then, isn’t it practical to consider, water filled both cups? Isn’t water not present on both cups?

Bro. Dominik, if i’m sitting on a chair, and my feet rest on the floor – isn’t more practical to consider that my presence is both on the chair and floor where I’m sitting? Isaiah 66:1-2 says God’s throne is heaven and God’s footstool is earth, isn’t it then practical to consider God is both in heaven and on earth?

Bro. Dominik, God’s spirit and glory must not dwell in bad places and temples of pagans but God’s presence must be everywhere if God’s footstool is on earth while his throne is heaven, isn’t it?

Bro. Dominik, How can God’s presence be with his 20,000 faithful children, if they are located in 20,000 different places on earth, if God is not everywhere?

Bro. Dominik, I thanked you so much for your brotherly love.
I admire the good people of Ang Dating Daan. God bless po!

  95. #104 J-R – you said: He cannot create a human more merciful than Himself

IF God is truly merciful then why do you believe in Blood atonement before God can forgive our sins?

IF GOD is truly merciful then there is no need for JESUS to die for the redemption of our sins.

It is obvious you are totally confused!

  96. TO EFS,

you quoted: (Proverbs 15:3) “The eyes of the LORD are in every place, beholding the evil and the good.”

Reply: Minister, the “EYES” of the lord is figurative! it simply means that HE IS EVERYWHERE. King Solomon ascribed humanly attributes to HIM just to convery his thought using our own alphabet.

(Brod. Boy’s side) Bro Dominik, (you said): Isn’t it logical to conclude that if heaven of heavens cannot contain thee, the more he will NOT dwell on earth or to the house built by hand? Right? So he is not everywhere… right?

DOMINIK: Right po. The verse is specific that God does not dwell in temples made by hand. Therefore he is everywhere.

DOMINIK: No po. Please read the whole verse so we will not be out of context if we are only going to pick up a portion of the verse:
Jer. 23:23 Am I a God at hand, saith the LORD, and not a God afar off?
24 Can any hide himself in secret places that I shall not see him? saith the LORD. Do not I fill heaven and earth? saith the LORD.

Take note: Can any hide himself in secret places that I shall not SEE him?

From this verse, it is the EYES of the Lord that fill the heaven and earth. Let me prove it with this verse:
Jer.: (Proverbs 15:3) “The eyes of the LORD are in every place, beholding the evil and the good.”

Bro. Dominik, If I filled 2 cups with water, then, isn’t it practical to consider, water filled both cups? Isn’t water not present on both cups?

DOMINIK: Yes, if the two cups are clean! Are you going to fill coffee to a FILTHY CUP? Same thing with God. Read the verse, pls.

God is not in a place where there are evil strife and envy.-EFS

(James 3:16, 15) “For where envying and strife is, there is confusion and every evil work.”

“This wisdom descendeth not from above, but is earthly, sensual, devilish.”

DOMINIK: YES to the 20,000 FAITHFUL children. There billions of people on earth, how many do you think are faithful? To the UNFAITHFULS, is God with them?

Loobin po this could be of good help to you in search for truth… which is in the CHURCH OF GOD.

Please keep on reading Bro. Eli’s post, watch ANG DATING DAAN often and you will realize for yourselves that he is really sent to us by God in this last days.

May you experience how it feels to hear the man that speaketh the words of God.

  100. To: Bro. Boy Montero

Correction on first presponse po… it should have been:

DOMINIK: Right po. The verse is specific that God does not dwell in temples made by hand. Therefore he is NOT EVERYWHERE.

  101. Dominik,

If God can be at 20,000 DIFFERENT PLACES at the same time on EARTH; at the same time God is in HEAVEN, then, God must be EVERYWHERE. I thought your doctrine states God can NOT be at two or more different places (any 2 or more places on earth, or earth and heaven simultaneously) at the same time? Example: Can God be in Manila if God is in the California? Because Manila and California are two different places. If God is in Manila, does it mean God is not in heaven? If the 20,000 children of God are scattered all over the world/continents, how can God at many different places at the same time if God is not everywhere?

Bible said heaven and highest heaven can NOT CONTAIN GOD. Astrophysicists says the visible universe is 28 billion light years in width, meaning, you need to travel 28 billion years with the speed of light to reach the visible universe. If God can not contain heaven and the highest heaven, which is the hundreds of billions of stars, how can’t God be in Heaven and on earth at the same time?

Bible said God’s throne is heaven and his footstool is earth, therfore God’s presence is both in heaven and on earth. If you’re sitting on a chair and your feet on the ground where you are sitting; then your PRESENCE should be on the chair you’re sitting and on the footstool where your feet are resting, isn’t it?

Bible said there’s no place to escape in God’s presence, whether on earth, in heaven and on the grave.

Bible also said, God FILLS the heaven and earth. How can God fills the heaven and earth if he is not everywhere?

When the Bible said God’s eyes is everywhere, then God’s presence must be everywhere because God has no literal eyes.

    Boy Montero

  102. Boy Montero… Good, sound thoughts on the subject! In the end, I believe that God’s omnipresence is connected to His omniscience. He is like a man who stands over a puddle and can see (perhaps with superhuman eyes) all that is within the puddle. He can, at any time according to His own desire (and with God, according to His nature) stick his finger into the puddle. He is able, in my opinion,to see the cosmos (all 28 billion light years-plus of it) and make His presence known. The question is, then, a moot point.

    ~Sean

  103. Sean,

    (1) I Kings 8:27 But will God indeed dwell on the earth? Behold, HEAVEN (cosmos) and the HIGHEST HEAVEN (God’s & angels’ abode) CAN NOT CONTAIN YOU; how much less this house (earth) which I have built?

Astrophysicists say it will take 28 billion years traveling at the speed of light, 300,000 km/sec to reach the farthest visible universe. There are hundreds of billions of stars in our cosmos. Earth compared to the sands of the sea, will be a tiny sand. If the universe can NOT CONTAIN GOD; how can God not be Omnipresent?

    (2) Isaiah 66:1 Thus says the Lord: Heaven is my throne and the earth is my footstool; what is the house which you would build for me, and what is the place of my rest?

If I’m sitting on a chair and my feet are resting on the floor; then my presence should be on the chair and on the floor, isn’t it? Then, God’s presence must be in heaven and on earth.

    (3) Jeremiah 23:23-24 Am I a God at hand, says the Lord, and not a God afar off? Can a man hide himself in secret places so that i cannot see him? says the Lord. Do I not FILL the Heaven and Earth? says the Lord.

God sees everyone, even in secret places, because God FILLS the Heaven and Earth; meaning God is everywhere. Nothing is far from God. If you filled two empty cups (representing heaven and earth) with water; isn’t water’s presence in both cups?

    (4) Psalms 139:7-12 (v. 7) Where shall I go from your Spirit? Or WHERE SHALL I FLEE FROM YOUR PRESENCE?

There’s NO PLACE anyone can escape the PRESENCE OF GOD, no where on earth, not even heaven, grave and sea.

    (5) If you’re inside your house and sleeping in your bedroom. Your PRESENCE should be in the house, even though, you’re not in the bathroom or kitchen, because you’re INSIDE your house, isn’t it?

First off, I would like to thank you for your comment…As you can see, I haven’t written a blog in a while because I have been busy…

I will address some of the false preachers, false prophets, false teachers, and false doctrine of the word of God, with the word of God….

    Question:

Have you ever read the bible?

Do you believe that the bible is the inspired written word of God?

According unto the word of God, God is omnipresent….Read, Psalm 139:7-13

Oh Jay, don’t feel sorry for me, I am saved, I am sanctified….No, I am not perfect, but I am forgiven…..

  106. From my notes taken from the topics discussed by Bro Eli and Bro Daniel in several THANKSGIVING, PRAYER MEETING, AND WORSHIP Services, it was established that GOD is not everywhere but HE is in HIS HOLY THRONE in HEAVEN as born out by the following verses: 1. PSALMS 53:2- GOD LOOKED DOWN FROM HEAVEN …2. PROVERBS 15:3- THE EYES OF THE LORD ARE IN EVERY PLACE BEHOLDING THE EVIL AND THE GOOD. 3. MATTHEW 3:17- AND LO A VOICE FROM HEAVEN SAYING, THIS IS MY BELOVED SON…4. MATTHEW 5:34- BUT I SAY UNTO YOU, SWEAR NOT AT ALL, NEITHER BY HEAVEN; FOR IT IS GOD’S THRONE. 5. MATTHEW 6:9- AFTER THIS MANNER THEREFORE PRAY YE; OUR FATHER WHICH ART IN HEAVEN…I have many other verses like MATTHEW 12:50, LUKE 3:22, ACTS 17:24, ROMANS 1:18, and other verses that this space will not allow. What is important are the testimony of many apostles and Christ himself placing GOD’S whereabout in heaven, although HIS eyes can see everything on earth, including the hearts of men without the need of coming to our side. By his might and supreme power, HIS sight can see and penetrate all matters no matter how solid or distanT far. If we will only listen to Bro Eli and Bro Daniel, like last September 29th and 30th during the THANKSGIVING celebration simultaneously held around the world in all the MCGI locales with great rejoicing, there will be no need to wrongly believe that GOD is everywhere. Learn more of the biblical truth about GOD and HIS words thru this blog, or better still, visit the MCGI locales all over the Philippines and around the world. GOD IS ALMIGHTY, MOST HOLY, MOST POWERFUL.

  107. Oh, then God is only in the Philippines? God will not be present in the United States unless he will walk and stay at US? then if a member prays in his house, then how about the other member who is praying too? Does it mean that God only dwells in Eli’s house?

  109. (Isaiah 55:8-9) “For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the LORD. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts(Proverbs 15:3) “The eyes of the LORD are in every place, beholding the evil and the good.” These two verses are enough to settle the issue that God is not everywhere because God will not be in the place where there is no love though He sees it.
    One thing is sure,
I owe a lot from God because for everything I request in prayers, I have to make a compromise with Him for my request to be granted and to erase the doubt from my mind . When I say in my heart I do, God will do His share first by granting more than my request. God is never late in His dealings, He is always ahead once He saw the sincerety in one’s heart. That’s why I owe a lot that I cannot repay Him back for all the good things I and my family receive all the time.
To those who disagree that God is not everywhere, I can only say be true, open your hearts follow what is good and He will reveal His Words to you to cast out all your doubts through our Lord Jesus Christ. Based on my countless observations of various religious sects and organizations, Bro Eli with the help of God is the only minister that can explain fully the Bible verses. Listen to him patiently and continuously to fully understand. You cannot understand easily if you do it once, twice or intermittently, it must be continuous till you arrive at the correct understanding because the Words in the Bible are full of hidden meanings that must be bridged from one another in any or all directions, that is from the Old to the New Testament or vice versa or from both ways (Old to Old and New to New) that only Bro Eli can do for those who hear to understand. So if you missed one it is not easy to understand the others, it takes time. But if you understand, you will find contentment of your soul and spirit that you will always longed to hear and do. If you disagree with me do the same way that I did out of curiousity do it because the Bible contents have been a challenge in my life to understand and I attempted so many times. God is so kind He let me know a very little portion of a bit but Bro Eli has them all based on my keen observation including the instant knowledge of the particular specific Bible verse. I believe it is God given to him because many maybe able to memorize the Bible but will not be able to bridge the verses and apply to teach.

  110. My comment is for the Title of yours: “God is not everywhere” only

So, what it means by the Proverbs 15:3 The Lord is watching everywhere, keeping his eye on both the evil and the good. (?)

23Am I a God at hand, saith the LORD, and not a God afar off?

24Can any hide himself in secret places that I shall not see him? saith the LORD. Do not I fill heaven and earth? saith the LORD.

  112. Sir, I disagree with your statement that God is not everywhere. with human logic, it is easy for us to say He is not everywhere because it is not logically possible. Jesus has said that “with men this is impossible, but with God all things are possible” (Matt 19:26). We cannot limit God; that is not possible anyway. You gave scripture to try to prove your points but you did not mention other scripture that says that God is everywhere.

Jer 23:23-24 – Am I a God near at hand, says the Lord, and not a God afar off? Can anyone hide himself in secret places, So I shall not see him? says the Lord; Do I not fill heaven and earth? says the Lord.

Ps 139:7-10 – Where can I go from Your Spirit? Or where can I flee from Your presence? If I ascend into heaven, You are there; If I make my bed in hell, behold you are there. If I take the wings of the morning, and dwell in the uttermost parts of the sea, even there Your hand shall lead me, and Your right hand shall hold me.

Your response with this would be appreciated as I welcome an open discourse of God’s word.

  113. Bro.Eli if God is not every’where’ ,which i agree.. is he every’Time’..He and Jesus was co-creator since the world began..if He is the author of the finished history of Christians substantial and written in the account of revealation which are future events which must come and surely to passed..Does the diety of God being eternal means He is embraces or should we say He is the post, progressive and He’s even ‘Now’ in the future?..since He is also the Alpha and Omega?..And also accdg to rev.13:8 Jesus was also crucified since the world was staged,is this every’Time’ crucifixion? Please I beg an answer from the only sensible preacher in the world.Thanks.
