The Kind of Witnesses the Jehovah’s Witnesses Are
A witness, in the dictionary, is defined as:
to see, hear, or know by personal presence and perception
This definition jives with the biblical definition of a witness.
(Act 10:38-41)
“How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him. And we are witnesses of all things which he did both in the land of the Jews, and in Jerusalem; whom they slew and hanged on a tree: Him God raised up the third day, and showed him openly; Not to all the people, but unto witnesses chosen before of God, even to us, who did eat and drink with him after he rose from the dead.”
The Bible separates the office of the apostles to other divine gifts such as evangelists, teachers, prophets, etc — as recorded in the book of Ephesians 4:11-12.
“And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers; For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ:”
Although a prophet preaches and a teacher preaches also, they can not be both classified as apostles who also preach the same thing that they are preaching. An apostle must be an eyewitness to the ministry of the Lord Jesus Christ.
(Acts 1:21-22)
“Wherefore of these men which have companied with us all the time that the Lord Jesus went in and out among us, Beginning from the baptism of John, unto that same day that he was taken up from us, must one be ordained to be a witness with us of his resurrection.”
What the apostle Matthew have written was the same thing that was written by Luke the evangelist; but he was never called in the Bible as an apostle because he was not an eyewitness to the ministry of the Lord Jesus Christ, but have only heard and known what happened during the Lord’s ministry from the eyewitnesses themselves.
(Luke 1:1-3) “Forasmuch as many have taken in hand to set forth in order a declaration of those things which are most surely believed among us,
Even as they delivered them unto us, which from the beginning were eyewitnesses, and ministers of the word; It seemed good to me also, having had perfect understanding of all things from the very first, to write unto thee in order, most excellent Theophilus…”
For Luke to say that he is a witness will be a misnomer — disregarding a vital truth in the bible. This is the case of the Jehovah’s witnesses.
Their claim and their teachings that they are witnesses for Jehovah do not only constitute misnomer, but a deceit, fallacy or hoax. They call themselves witnesses because they believe that they are witnessing for the truth of Jehovah — their ‘god’, apparently, they are using claims and verses that prove that they are ignorant of the thing they are claiming to be witnesses of. This is the verse they are using:
(Isa. 43:10) “Ye are my witnesses, saith the LORD, and my servant whom I have chosen: that ye may know and believe me, and understand that I am he: before me there was no God formed, neither shall there be after me.”
In the verse, the Lord speaks. That is the Lord God: the Lord God that was ‘formed’.
It is a fundamental knowledge that can be learned from the pages of the entire bible that the Lord God Almighty was not ‘formed’ by anybody.
(Psa. 90:2) “Before the mountains were brought forth, or ever thou hadst formed the earth and the world, even from everlasting to everlasting, thou art God.”
In this verse, he is the one that forms or causes the existence of everything. The Hebrew word used “yaw-tsar”, meaning “to mold into a form” (especially as a potter). And the Lord God Almighty is the potter.
(Rom. 9:20-21) “Nay but, O man, who art thou that repliest against God? Shall the thing formed say to him that formed it, Why hast thou made me thus? Hath not the potter power over the clay, of the same lump to make one vessel unto honor, and another unto dishonor?”
He was not formed. He existed from eternity. No human mind can comprehend eternity!
The Lord God, in Isaiah 43:10 was formed. There was no God formed before Him; neither shall there be after Him. He is the One talking to the prophetic witnesses whom he had chosen. Let us requote Isaiah 43:10:
“Ye are my witnesses, saith the LORD, and my servant whom I have chosen: that ye may know and believe me, and understand that I am he: before me there was no God formed, neither shall there be after me.”
The prophecy speaks of two distinct entities: The speaker, called the Lord or the God that was formed and His witnesses whom He had chosen. This verse can not specifically fit anybody except the person of Jesus Christ and His apostles. Jesus Christ is God (John 1:1-3)
“In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
The same was in the beginning with God. The same was in the beginning with God.
All things were made through him; and without him was not any thing made that was made.”
He was formed or have caused by God to exist in His very bosom.
(John 1:18 ) “No man hath seen God at any time; the only begotten Son, which is in the bosom of the Father, he hath declared him.”
It was God the Father Almighty who brought him forth or has begotten Him.
(Heb 5:5) “So also Christ glorified not himself to be made a high priest; but he that said unto him, Thou art my Son, today have I begotten thee.”
Jesus Christ is the personification of the Wisdom of God.
(1 Cor. 1:24) “But unto them which are called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ the power of God, and the wisdom of God.”
It was this Wisdom who has sent the prophets and the apostles.
(Luke 11:49) “Therefore also said the wisdom of God, I will send them prophets and apostles, and some of them they shall slay and persecute:”
This is the same wisdom that speaks in the book of Proverbs 8:22-31 and said:
“The LORD possessed me in the beginning of his way, before his works of old.
I was set up from everlasting, from the beginning, or ever the earth was. When there were no depths, I was brought forth; when there were no fountains abounding with water. Before the mountains were settled, before the hills was I brought forth: While as yet he had not made the earth, nor the fields, nor the highest part of the dust of the world. When he prepared the heavens, I was there: when he set a compass upon the face of the depth: When he established the clouds above: when he strengthened the fountains of the deep:
When he gave to the sea his decree, that the waters should not pass his commandment: when he appointed the foundations of the earth: Then I was by him, as one brought up with him: and I was daily his delight, rejoicing always before him; Rejoicing in the habitable part of his earth; and my delights were with the sons of men.”
Therefore, the witnesses being mentioned in Isaiah 43:10 are not the Jehovah’s Witnesses, but the Apostles; and the God to whom they are witnesses to is the Lord Jesus Christ — the God that was ‘formed’.
In the book of Acts 10:38-41

It is very clear in the preceding verses that the witnesses chosen by God and Jesus Christ are the Apostles, to whom God revealed the person of His Son who ate and drank with them after He was resurrected from the dead; and the witnessing of the Apostles extend to the uttermost part of the earth.
Acts 1:8
“But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth. “
The Apostles are able and true witnesses.
Therefore, what kind of witnesses are the Jehovah’s Witnesses?

Jehovah’s witnesses are deceitful witnesses because they speak lies. How can they be the true witnesses if they did not even ate and drank with Christ? True witnesses are those apostles who ate and drank with Christ as Bro. Eli cited in Acts. 10:38-41. We should believe the true witnesses like the apostles becuase they can deliver souls but if we will believe false witnesses like the jehova’s witnesses, they will lead us to damnation (Proverbs 14:25). I believe bro. Eli’s teachings because the basis of his teaching is from the true witnesses, the apostles. Therefore his teaching is from Christ because it’s from the apostles,the true witnesses, and we should believe in it for us to be saved.

JW are “true” witnesses to a fictitious god.
A god that loathes life-giving blood transfusion and thinks that renovating the earth is way cheaper than building a new heaven and a new earth. But for now, they have to sell gazillion books and other stuffs to earn money for that “earthly renovation project”.
And that’s the whole idea of “SAVING”.

The JW’s have no link with the Lord Jesus Christ at all so I must conclude that they are false witnesses. Why do I say this? They do not follow the tenets of Christ and they refuse to acknowledge His true Deity. JW’s, perhaps you should start witnessing for the true God, not for a fictitious one.

The jehovah’s witnesses do not respect our Lord Jesus Christ’s . I would say they are false witnesses .

As I have said earlier that there is nothing to argue with the jehovah’s witnesses claim that they are witnesses to jehovah because we know that their jehovah is not the God Almighty at all…But the real problem here is, the leaders of this congregation have blinded and fooled so many people by letting them believe that the name of God is jehovah…One reason why so people have gone astray from the Truth is because of believing too fast without even examining or trying the spirit/spirits if he/they are really of God…1JOHN 4:1..And I admit I was one of them before…But thanks God He give us a Bro Eli as His instrument to lighten up so many souls.Praise be to God.
No wonder why the false and erroneous doctrines of the Jehovah’s Witnesses are bigger than their organization because the founder of this religious cult whom all its false and erroneous doctrines came from, CHARLES T. RUSSEL, is a BIG LIAR and a FALSE PROPHET! He is a PROVEN PERJURER under the United States Judicial System and a FALSE PROPHET according to the Bible.
As early as 1892 Russell’s views and management style were strongly criticized by certain individuals associated with his ministry. In 1893 a paper was written and circulated to Bible Students in Pittsburgh by associates Otto van Zech, Elmer Bryan, J.B. Adamson, S.G. Rogers, Paul Koetitz, and others. It expressed concern that Russell was a DICTATORIAL leader, a SHREWD BUSINESSMAN who appeared EAGER TO COLLECT FUNDS from the selling of the Millennial Dawn books, CHEATED one of them out of financial gains, and issued thousands of Millennial Dawn books UNDER A FEMALE PSEUDONYM. A booklet entitled A Conspiracy Exposed and Harvest Siftings was written by Russell and issued as an extra to the April 1894 Zion’s Watch Tower magazine in order to preempt attempts to have their views circulated to a wider audience of Bible Students. Russell printed copies of letters he had received from these former associates in order to show that their claims were trumped up, and those involved were guided by Satan in an attempt to subvert his work as a “minister of the gospel”.
In 1897 RUSSELL’S WIFE LEFT HIM, after disagreeing over the management of Zion’s Watch Tower magazine. She expressed that, as his wife, she should have equal control over its administration, equal privilege in writing articles, preaching, and traveling abroad as his representative. In 1903 she filed for legal separation on the grounds of MENTAL CRUELTY, related to what she considered to be FORCED CELIBACY, and frequent cold, indifferent treatment. The separation was ultimately granted in 1906, with Russell charged to pay alimony. During the trial her attorney made the claim that Russell had been INAPPROPRIATELY INTIMATE with ROSE BALL, a young woman the Russells had cared for as a “foster daughter” since age ten.
On March 22, 1911, The Brooklyn Daily Eagle began publishing articles accusing Russell of GAINING PROFIT from a strain of wheat named “Miracle Wheat” by its discoverer, K.B. Stoner of Fincastle, Virginia in 1903. Once other newspapers read this claim, many critics began to insist that Russell had deceived and defrauded many by selling this supposedly advanced strain of wheat for $60 a bushel, far above the average cost of wheat for the day. Throughout 1912 and 1913 the Eagle continued to report on this alleged fraud on Russell’s part. Russell sued the Eagle for libel, but lost. A Government expert investigated the “Miracle Wheat” and said it “was low in the Government tests”. Prior to entering the court the Eagle had published “The Eagle goes even further and declares that at the trial it will show that “Pastor” Russell’s RELIGIOUS CULT is NOTHING MORE THAN A MONEY-MAKING SCHEME.”
In June 1912 the Reverend J.J. Ross, pastor of the James Street Baptist Church in Hamilton, Ontario, published the pamphlet, Some facts about the Self-Styled ‘Pastor’ Charles T. Russell which minced no words in its denunciation of Russell, his qualifications as a minister, or his moral example as a Pastor. Russell promptly sued Ross for “defamatory libel”. ROSS SEIZED UPON THE OPPORTUNITY AS A MEANS OF EXPOSING RUSSELL. During the examination on March 17 1913, Russell ADMITTED that at most he had attended school ONLY SEVEN YEARS of his life at the PUBLIC SCHOOL, and that HE HAD LEFT SCHOOL when he was about fourteen years of age. As Counselor Staunton pressed him further Russell ADMITTED that he KNEW NOTHING about Latin and Hebrew, and that HE HAD NEVER TAKEN A COURSE IN PHILOSOPHY OR SYSTEMATIC THEOLOGY, and had NEVER ATTENDED SCHOOLS OF HIGHER LEARNING.
Continuing his charges in the pamphlet, Ross EXPOSED Russell as a
PSEUDO-scholar and philosopher who “never attended the higher schools of
learning, knows comparatively nothing of philosophy, systematic or
historical theology, and is totally ignorant of the dead languages”
(pages 3,4). It must be clearly understood at this point by the reader
that in a libel suit of the type pursued by Russell, the plantiff
(Russell) had to prove that the charges lodged against him by the
defendant (Ross) were not true. It is significant to note that Russell
lost his suit against Ross when the High Court of Ontario, in session
March, 1913, ruled that there were no grounds for libel; and “the case
was thrown out of Court by the evidence furnished by ‘Pastor’ Russell
himself” (page 15).
“Pastor” Russell REFUSED to give any evidence to substantiate his “case” and THE ONLY EVIDENCE OFFERED WAS RUSSELL’S OWN STATEMENTS, MADE UNDER OATH AND DURING CROSS-EXAMINATION BY ROSS’S LAWYER, COUNSELOR STAUNTON. By denying Ross’s charges, Russell AUTOMATICALLY CLAIMED high scholastic ascendancy, recognized theological training (systematic and historical), working knowledge of the dead languages (Greek, Hebrew, etc.), and valid ordination by a recognized body. To each part of Mr. Ross’s pamphlet (and all was read) Russell entered VIGOROUS DENIALS, with the exception of the “Miracle Wheat Scandal” which he affirmed as have “a grain of truth in a sense” to it. “Pastor” Russell had at last MADE A SERIOUS MISTAKE. He had testified under oath before Almight God, and had sworn to tell “the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth.” He was soon to REGRET his testimony and STAND IN JEOPARDY as a PERJURER, and UNPLEASANT EXPERIENCE for the “Pastor” which more than explains his AVERSION to the witness chair.
JEHOVAH’S WITNESSES CANNOT DENY THIS DOCUMENTARY EVIDENCE; IT IS TOO WELL SUBSTANTIATED. This is no “religionist scheme” to “smear” the “Pastor’s” memory; I offer it as proof of their founder’s inherent dishonesty and lack of morals, that they may see the type of man to
whose doctrines they have committed their eternal souls.
The following reference quotations are taken in part from Mr. Ross’s
second pamphlet entitled Some Facts and More Facts About the Self-Styled
Pastor – Charles T. Russell:
But now what are the facts as they were brought out by the
examination on March 17, 1913? As to his scholastic standing he
(Russell) had sworn that what was said about it was not true. Under
the examination, he admitted that at most he had attended school
only seven years of his life at the public school, and that he had
left school when he was about fourteen years of age…
The cross examination of Russell continued for five hours. Here is a
sample of how the “Pastor” answered.
The following reproduction of the Russell v. Ross transcript
relative to the perjury charge made against Russell is taken from a copy
on file in the headquarters of the cult in Brooklyn and is presented in
the interests of thorough investigation.
Question: (Attorney Staunton) – “Do you know the Greek alphabet?
Answer: (Russell) – “Oh YES.”
Question: (Staunton) – “Can you tell me the correct letters if you
see them?”
Answer: (Russell) – “Some of them, I MIGHT MAKE A MISTAKE on some
of them.”
Question: (Stauton) – “Would you tell me the names of those on top
of the page, page 447 I have got here?”
Answer: (Russell) – “Well, I don’t know that I would be able to.”
Question: (Stauton) – “You can’t tell what those letters are, look
at them and see if you know?”
Answer: (Russell) – “My way…”[he was interrupted at this point
and not allowed to explain]
Question: (Stauton) – “Are you familiar with the Greek language?”
Answer: (Russell) – “NO.”
It should be noted from this record of the testimony that Russell
FREQUENTLY CONTRADICTED HIMSELF, claiming first to “know” the Greek
alphabet, then claiming under pressure that he might make mistakes in
identifying the letters, and then finally admitting that he couldn’t
read the alphabet at all when confronted with a copy of it.
From this it is easy to see that Russell did not “know” the Greek
alphabet, in any proper sense of the term, since it is assumed that when
we say we “know” the English alphabet, for example, we shall be able
upon request to name the letters by their correct titles.
“Pastor” Russell in failing to name the letters of the Greek
alphabet, therefore, PROVED HIMSELF A PERJURER, for he had previously
stated that he “knew” them, thereby implying the ability to recite them,
which he could not do.
It makes very little difference, therefore, whether the Watchtower
wants to admit Russell’s guilt or not since their own transcript shows
that Russell said he “knew” what was later proved he did not know.
HERE IS CONCLUSIVE EVIDENCE; THE “PASTOR” UNDER OATH PERJURED
HIMSELF BEYOND QUESTION. Can one sincerely trust the teachings of a man
who thought nothing of such evidence?
This, however, was not all of Russell’s testimony, and as Counselor
Staunton pressed him further the “Pastor” admitted that he knew nothing
about Latin and Hebrew, and that he had never taken a course in
philosophy or systematic theology, much less attended schools of higher
learning. Bear in mind now that Russell a short time before had sworn
he did have such knowledge by denying Mr. Ross’s allegations. But there
was no way out now; the “Pastor” was caught in a bold-faced fabrication
and he knew it. However, all was not over yet. It will be remembered
that Russell claimed “ordination” and equal if not superior status to
ordained and accredited ministers. Counselor Staunton next smashed this
illusion by demanding that Russell answer “Yes” or “No” to the following
questions:
Question: (Ross’ Lawyer) – “Is it true you were never ordained?”
Answer: (Russell) – “It is NOT TRUE.”
Question: (Counselor Staunton) – “Now, you never were ordained by a
bishop, clergyman, presbytery, council, or any body of men
living?”
Answer: (Russell, after a long pause) – “I NEVER WAS.”
Once again Russell’s “UNSWERVING” HONESTY received a RUDE BLOW; the
situation was OUT OF HIS HANDS and Russell STOOD HELPLESS as Counselor
Staunton wrung statement after statement from him which ESTABLISHED HIM
BEYOND DOUBT AS A PREMEDITATED PERJURER. Russell further swore that his
wife HAD NOT divorced him, and that the court had not granted alimony
from him, a statement he soon REGRETTED when Counselor Staunton FORCED
HIM TO ADMIT that THE COURT DID DIVORCE HIM FROM HIS WIFE, and DID
AWARD HIS WIFE ALIMONY. The evidence was in; the case was clear.
RUSSELL WAS BRANDED A PERJURER BY THE COURT’S VERDICT “NO BILL.” As a
result of the Court’s action Mr. Ross’s charges were PROVEN TRUE and the
real character of Russell was revealed, that of A MAN WHO HAD NO
SCRUPLES ABOUT LYING UNDER OATH and whose doctrines were ADMITTEDLY
based on NO SOUND EDUCATIONAL KNOWLEDGE of the subject in question.
Much evidence is available concerning Russell’s moral life, but I see no
reason to inject lewdness into the text. The Character of the man is
evident for all to see.
After his death, Russell was accused of having CLOSE TIES with Freemasonry. Such critics have not only attempted to connect him with any of several different rites of the Freemasons, but have also attempted to show that such associations are connected with occult practices. They address that in later editions of his Studies in the Scriptures series a WINGED SOLAR DISK APPEARS ON THE FRONT COVER, which they state is AN EXCLUSIVELY MASONIC SYMBOL.

We are very sorry, but by the very ‘earthly’ standard and meaning of a witness, the Jehovah’s witnesses will never qualify as a witness. Hearsays {the highest that their doctrine and teachings can go} are not acceptable. If they can not even qualify on earth, how much more in heaven. By their Jehovah’s name alone which is not biblical, it is already a gone conclusion that their church is not of GOD but of man’s foundation. Sorry to say, the Jehovah’s witnesses are not really witnesses, and as a church, will not qualify as that of GOD. Thanks Bro Eli for going on with this blog inspite of all the difficulties, and persecutions. In your past bible expositions I heard you correctly answered a question why in Isaias 43:13 the “Lord” said that ‘beside me there is no Saviour’ It is because during that time Christ was not yet in the ‘picture’ in His role as our Savior here on earth. Would it not be logical then that the one, the “Lord” speaking at verses 3 and 10 of the same chapter is God the Almighty Father and not Jesus Christ?. And correct me if I am wrong, but is it not that the “Lord” in verses 3, 10 and 13 are translations of the Hebrew Tetragrammaton YHWH which is the name of the Almighty God?
But of course the present day Jehovah’s Witnesses are not those witnesses referred to in prophet Isaias’ time. Brod Quiel’s column is indeed quite a revelation that Russel’s adherents must read.

So if Jesus is his name even before when he was first born, would it mean that Jehovah give this name to save the mankind. Jesus doesnt potray the qualitities of Jehovah God. The four basic characteristics of Jehovah are love, justice, power and wisdom. Of course if anyone in the uiniverse that will almost be like him, that is none other than Jesus which is Michael, the archangel.Who is like God wouldnt fit to anyone except to Jesus.He is the image of the father, right?It is simple here. One must carry a qualities almost comletely like to Jehovah. Now tell me, is Jesus is not Michael?

I have to copy the article of JWs about John 1:1. You will read it at proper time.With regard to the name Michael it means Who is Like God?It means the carrier of that name considering that was given to him by God and not by anyone is someone who is really almost God. That person Michael is the representation of God.Would Jehovah give a meaning to someone who is not fit to carry it?That is why Michael shows the sovereign power of God.It links to him. Giving a name to his people or angel is not an ordianry thing. It possess deeper meaning on it.

I challenge you to prove to me the verse of 1 Thessalonians 4:16 in Greek, if Jesus is really written after the “voice of an archangel.”The poblem in other translators is they interchange the position of the words and that they believe Jesus is Jehovah or Yahweh. As far as I know, the grammar in Greek is not really like in english or other languages which denotes word for word

meaning. I guess Greek language is also like Chinese or Japanese wherein one character denotes many words. But my poin t here is the position of the words.If Jesus is written at the almost last part of the sentence in 1 Thessalonians 4:16, then I might agree that Jesus will come out after the command of voice of an archangel. So, if I may insist show me the real Greek verses regarding that and prove me the meaning or right transliteration of it.

In NWT it says there with an archangel’s voice.Arch means first in rank. Why would archangel’s voice woud associated to Jesus if he is not archangel? Or why does an archangel’s voice be his voice if he is not the archangel?Think of these.Would it proper to say “The President speaks witha voice of a servant.” or it should be “The Presedent speaks with a voice of an over-all ruler.” The other term signifies their position.The over-all ruler would only fit to a President like the most high leader in military, the general with five-star.
