It is a name derived from their false god "Zeus". In greek language "Eliseus" means "God", "Elohim" (Hebrew word for God) is "Zeus". Please use your 1611 KJV Bible if you have one and turn to Luke 4:27. It spells "Elizeus". Notice the "Z" is there in the name but in the Modern English translations of the KJV we see an "S" in the name. It's the same thing they did with the name "Jesus". They replaced the "Z" with an "S" and are deceiving MILLIONS of people into serving false, Pagan gods. If you are to continue to do Yah's work, brother, then PLEASE teach these people the truth!
