So if we are not required to keep the fourth commandment, then we are not required to keep any of them; and this would mean we are free to murder, lie, and sleep with another man's wife. Surely this is not so! Take Matt. 5:17-29: "Do not think that I have come to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I have not come to abolish them but to fulfill them. I tell you the truth, until heaven and earth disappear, not the smallest letter, not the least stroke of a pen, will by any means disappear from the Law until everything is accomplished. [i]Anyone who breaks one of the least of these commandments and teaches others to do the same will be called least in the kingdom of heaven,[/i] but whoever practices and teaches these commands will be called great in the kingdom of heaven. [i]For I tell you that unless your righteousness surpasses that of the Pharisees and the teachers of the law, you will certainly not enter the kingdom of heaven.[/i] "You have heard that it was said to the people long ago, 'Do not murder, and [i]anyone who murders will be subject to judgment.' But I tell you that anyone who is angry with his brother will be subject to judgment. Again, anyone who says to his brother, 'Raca,' is answerable to the Sanhedrin. But anyone who says, 'You fool!' will be in danger of the fire of hell.[/i] "Therefore, if you are offering your gift at the altar and there remember that your brother has something against you, leave your gift there in front of the altar. First go and be reconciled to your brother; then come and offer your gift. "Settle matters quickly with your adversary who is taking you to court. Do it while you are still with him on the way, or he may hand you over to the judge, and the judge may hand you over to the officer, and you may be thrown into prison. I tell you the truth, you will not get out until you have paid the last penny. [i]"You have heard that it was said, 'Do not commit adultery.'But I tell you that anyone who looks at a woman lustfully has already committed adultery with her in his heart. If your right eye causes you to sin, gouge it out and throw it away. It is better for you to lose one part of your body than for your whole body to be thrown into hell[/i] If we love Jesus, we will keep His Commandments (John 14:15). Also, according to John 15:10, Jesus did keep the Commandments. So the true Sabbath for a true Christian is the Sabbath that God had established before, and He established it even before sin entered into the world (Gen. 2:3). If we do not keep the Ten Commandments, we are in danger of the judgement. This site is misleading; it tells lies. "Watch out for false prophets. I am sorry to say that once a week as claimed by sdac members is not enough to worship GOD, it might be true in the olden days covered by the old covenant, when the Israelites were instructed to reserve the sabbath once a week in order to worship GOD; but from the time of JESUS CHRIST under the new covenant, Christians are expected to worship GOD not only during sabbath, but all the time of their life, the reason HIS laws were written in the tables of the heart and no longer in the stones. It is easy to discern that JESUS CHRIST is the true SABBATH that GOD wants us to understand and follow. Bro Eli's biblical explanation is easy to understand for people whose hearts are not hardened, or misled by the false preachers. We pray that GOD will continue to shower Bro Eli with the understanding and knowledge of GOD's WORDS, the physical and spiritual strength to go on the mission of spreading the TRUTH, using all available technology [including blogs, podcast, and other medium] while there s still time. May I enjoin all true Christians to help and support Bro Eli do his duty by sharing any and all resources in our hands, IT knowledge, writing, and financial assistance that will guarantee the maximum number of people that will have the chance to know the TRUTH thru Bro Eli, Bro Daniel, and the CHURCH OF GOD International. I wish that someone will see all references about the law in the Bible and give a clear teaching about it. So far I know of only one person who tried to do just that and he became a Seventh-day sabbath keeper and an SDA. I am not saying that he is right. God judges, not me.But everyone must make intellegent decisions for himself based on all the facts presented. I am a born again Seventh-day Adventist and I thank God he lead me to the true church when I was seeking for one. God is great and like him is none!! And since then, when I have questions in my mind I always go to God with prayer and fasting and he reveals his will to me . I hope that when it is to decide for or against the keeping of the Sabbath, people will seriously go to God and enquire "what is your will?"and not lean on man or someone thought to be lead by "the Holy-Spirit". Everyone will answer for himself so everyone should make their own choices and be ready to answer when asked.
