Too Fast to Get Furious

Bro. Eli,
I would like to ask how I can eliminate my attitude of being so furious and angry immediately whenever I encounter some difficulties. Kindly help me I know my actions are not acceptable but I can’t help it since I was a child.

Dear Restlyn,
No man can attain renewal by himself alone.
(Jeremiah 10:23) “O LORD, I know that the way of man is not in himself: it is not in man that walketh to direct his steps.”
You will need the intervention of the Lord to be renewed from evil things you are accustomed to do.
(Jeremiah 13:23) “Can the Ethiopian change his skin, or the leopard his spots? then may ye also do good, that are accustomed to do evil.”
By himself, a black Ethiopian can not change the natural color of his or her skin, nor can a leopard remove its spot. It is only through God’s power that a person can attain renewal.
(Proverbs 16:9) “A man’s heart deviseth his way: but the LORD directeth his steps.”
Pray for God’s guidance and power to intervene in your person, especially in your heart. It is divinely possible.
(Ezekiel 36:26) “A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you: and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you a heart of flesh.”
Enrich your heart with unfeigned love and hatred and anger will be gone away.
(Proverbs 22:24-25) “Make no friendship with an angry man; and with a furious man thou shalt not go: Lest thou learn his ways, and get a snare to thy soul.”
Follow Christ and you will be renewed.
(2 Corinthians 5:17) “Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.”

do already requirements no. 1.
Do you know that physical exercise develop your muscles and increase your stamina.
And that same also in your emotions and inner being.

You can read the whole the chapter of Job in the Bible while realaxing in a quiet place or nature trip.Seek the Church of God.

If you may, i would like to share to you a story;
a kid was suffering from family problems and most of his days were sorrowful as he witnessed the downs and ups of the family during his childhood days and that his being was impaired by that many sorrowful accounts. He saw how his family broked apart and that he undured humiliations and pressures from contemporaries, even in schools.
In short that kid grown up to be a man, very lonely, silent, always alone. His heart broked when he fall for a woman who got pregnant from another man and left her badly broken hearted. But with GOD’s help in CHRIST he recovered from all th of those pains and most are still lingering till this very time as i share to you my life and that i may not be able to write it all down or in a very detailed manner.
Continue in search for the truth and you will find rest for your souls as CHRIST said it;
“…..learn from Me…….and you will find rest for your souls……for My yoke is easy and My burden is light..”
may you find comfort and in whatever way this story may give you.

Absolute true… it is really impossible for us to attain renewal if we only rely on ourselves. IT is indeed surprising when God works. The things that are hard for us and things that seems to be impossible becomes easy and attainable. We just have to trust and have faith on HIM.

THANK YOU O LORD, PRAISE HONOR AND GLORY BE UNTO YOU ALMIGHTY GOD. May the BLESSINGS and the PEACE of GOD be always with you Bro Eli, Bro Daniel, and all brethrens in the CHURCH OF GOD International, and so with everybody who are into this blog. Feelings of satisfaction, joy, anger, hatred, etc., are all present in any normal human being. It has something to do with the upbringing of man from childhood, his invironment, and the people within, and arround him. The best remedy for not getting furious too fast is to listen to GOD’s WORDS thru Bro Eli. I am very sure that like me, many brethrens have encountered once or more in their lives, some kind of injustice, unfair treatment, betrayals, and other revolting experiences. Thanks GOD that being in the CHURCH OF GOD and being with true brothers and sisters, constantly guided by Bro Eli and Bro Daniel, we are able to control our emotions. Frequent reminders from Bro Eli that we should love our enemy; that our fight is not of the flesh and blood; that love covers a multitude of sins; and many other teachings from the ALMIGHTY, has taught us to value more LOVE and UNDERSTANDING rather than hatred and anger. I think that these values inculcated in us by GOD thru Bro Eli and Bro Daniel are some of the reasons that inspite of the persecutions and death threats from the enemy, the CHURCH OF GOD is tremendously growing so fast in the Philippines and in all the parts of the world, as prophesied in JEREMIAH 30:10-21.
