While it is true that the color of ones dress has varied intensity and psychological effect to many persons, it is the simplicity, decency, and manner of wearing it that counts. Red, white, black, green, or any other color for that matter when worn in a very revealing, enticing or provocative way, is not good for a true Christian, as mentioned in the verses presented by Bro Eli and the other brethrens. I am sorry that a brethren is reminded of a 'false father' in Rome who wears red, it is not the color of his garment that violates the TEACHINGS, it is their hypocrisy, the wrong doctrine, and the unbiblical practices of pagan-pageantry that violates GOD's TRUTH. Its okay brother if you deslike red for your own reasons. Others also claim that red reminds them of the fire in hell for the sinners. I think this time, we will respect everyone's personal likes and choice of color, as long as the manner of wearing the attire is not and will not tempt others to commit sin, even secretly in their hearts and minds. We will always pray that GOD will enlighten the people hired by the 'enemies' to harm or kill you that they will change their heart and join instead the CHURCH OF GOD.
