Last but not least the word of the Bible says “I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, and acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service.
And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good, perfect and acceptable, will of God .( romans 12 1 and 2 verses.

We do not just make our stand, but rather we see to it that the flow of our reasoning would not conflict the basic truth from the bible. We do not just use verses from the bible to refute something just as the kind of your reasoning when you said, sabesi, that, “I’m simply saying that there are in fact NO innocents in this world, ourselves included.”

Maybe you are not innocent afterall, but to generalise simply using verses out of context is wrong.

When you said, “…quietly ignoring the fact that any man who has been angry is considered a murderer in the eyes of the Lord (Matthew 5:22).”

Who taught you that being angry is considered murder in the eyes of the Lord? It states that when there is no reason to be angry to a brother and you did, then he is in danger of judgement!

Matt 5:
22 But I say unto you, That whosoever is angry with his brother without a cause shall be in danger of the judgment: and whosoever shall say to his brother, Raca, shall be in danger of the council: but whosoever shall say, Thou fool, shall be in danger of hell fire.

We are taught by Bro Eli to be careful using verses because it can create assumptions that leads to wrong faith.

Of course we can be angry but do not make it an excuse to kill or hurt anyone.

That is how our God understands people like us. We are not hypocrites that do not get angry!
