The Truth is, God Can Heal Amputees.
May 17, 2007 by Bro. Eli
This is a response to the forum on: http://whywontgodhealamputees.com/forum/index.php?topic=8292.0
Anybody thinking can easily notice that there is neither ‘meat’ nor weight in the response coming from these people who believe that God is imaginary. A pinch of law will make people realize that their response is nonsense. I used a bunch of verses, they said, to prove that my God is good. I am thankful they have noticed His goodness in the verses that I have cited; and I have the right to use such verses because I believe in Him who said those words; But under the law of estoppel, not one of these five (5) who responded have the right to use any verse in the Bible because they have denied the existence of God.
Estoppel: A legal principle that prevents a person from asserting or denying something in court that contradicts what has already been established as the truth.
equitable estoppel
A type of estoppel that bars a person from adopting a position in court that contradicts his or her past statements or actions when that contradictory stance would be unfair to another person who relied on the original position. For example, if a landlord agrees to allow a tenant to pay the rent ten days late for six months, it would be unfair to allow the landlord to bring a court action in the fourth month to evict the tenant for being a week late with the rent. The landlord would be estopped from asserting his right to evict the tenant for late payment of rent. Also known as estoppel in pais. http://www.nolo.com/definition.cfm/term/7F1E56D5-7EC1-4CEB-86B3943F6990FF77
“The faith that you have, keep between yourself and God. Blessed is the one who has no reason to pass judgment on himself for what he approves.” Romans 14:22 (English Standard Version)
“As for you and your faith, keep your faith to yourself in the presence of God. The man is to be congratulated who does not pronounce judgement on himself in what his actions sanction.” (1912 Weymouth New Testament)
It is ridiculous to see that somebody who does not believe in God will use God’s word in casting doubts upon the integrity of the very same person he does not believe to exist. Imagine, an imaginary God, they say, and yet use such powerful words and bank on to make other people believe that that God does not exist. It is awfully funny, is it not?
Notice what they said in their RESPONSE:
The good reverend should not engage in mockery of the bald. God does not take it lightly!
See what He did to the naughty children in the story of Elisha and the bears (2 Kings 2:23-25)
http://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=2%20Kings%202:23-25;&version=46;
Some Boys Make Fun of Elisha
23Elisha left and headed toward Bethel. Along the way some boys started making fun of him by shouting, “Go away, baldy! Get out of here!” 24Elisha turned around and stared at the boys. Then he cursed them in the name of the LORD. Right away two bears ran out of the woods and ripped to pieces forty-two of the boys. 25Elisha went up to Mount Carmel, then returned to Samaria.
Again, these funny people say “God does not take it lightly” (mockery of the bald) used the Bible, which came from God they do not believe; even citing the verse in 2 Kings 2:23-25. Is it not funny? Not only funny but unfair for the God which they are trying to defame!
Now, if their reason in using these verses that they have cited is that they believe in them, and they now believe in God; I want them to know that there is a way by which God can heal an amputee, when the hope of the righteous Christian will finally be realized.
(Corinthians 15:50-54) “Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; neither doth corruption inherit incorruption. Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality. So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory.”
They are obliged to believe this inasmuch as they are citing the Bible as an authority to refute other’s belief. This is logical and fair!
GIVE MY GOD A CHANCE TO FULFILL ALL HIS PROMISES IN HIS PERFECT TIME! THE QUESTION WITH UNFAITHFUL MORTALS IS THAT THEY ARE BLIND AND CAN NOT SEE AFAR OFF.
(2 Peter 1:9) “But he that lacketh these things is blind, and cannot see afar off, and hath forgotten that he was purged from his old sins.”
Even rain has its bow and it is far-reaching!

“AMEN”…..
“…the wicked shall do wickedly. And none of the wicked shall understand, but the wise shall understand.”

GOD has appointed what was,is,to happen in HIS desired time not of man’s will! “….I AM what I AM,…”,YHWH (Old Testament). It took 2000 years (New Testament) for the scriptures to fulfill what CHRIST our Lord said, and it did! Do you have that life to witness what GOD the ALMIGHTY in CHRIST Decreed? you dont have a MICROGRAM or a GAZILLION dot of idea! you read alphabet right! you can read the Bible better than alphabet! you can start now!
Interesting response. But the point of the website you mention is that God never heals amputees. Ever. Rather than indulging in legal semantics, why not simply produce the evidence that He DOES heal amputess today? That would shut them up faster than talking about “equitable estoppel”.
Sir,
I would never tell you that you should accept my claims without proper investigation of those claims. Nor would I create a situation in which I attack you, based on a statement that presumes that you cannot analyze my claims because you do not first believe in them. Doing so would be in bold faced contradiction to reason and common sense itself. It would also be a bold admission to engaging in dehumanizing behavior, because you are devaluing everyone outside of your paradigm as inferior to yourself.
A formal apology, and perhaps a reasoned reply to the question would make a better response then engaging in blank statements meant to hatefully devalue others. It is no less then bigotry, prejudist, and hate.
Chad
S. Holttum, the website’s position is to refute the existence of God and that’s what Brother Eli has fended off successfully, using biblical verses and other semantics. God heals more than the physical components of His believers, and that is what is more important to us. Time will come when God will change and transform our physical bodies into immortal bodies (Phil. 3:21), removing all the infirmities and physical defects, so we are keenly and patiently waiting for that perfect time. We do not instruct our God to perform sudden miracles but rather, we let His will to be done in our lives. I am quite certain though that Brother Eli Soriano will have a rejoinder for you next time he goes online.
Bro. Eli ang website author yata ng http://whywontgodhealamputees.com ay ulyanin dahil nag-umpisa siya nito:
“Are you interested in learning how God works? Here are several starting points: ”
All I can say is: THE AUTHORS OR SUPPORTERS OF THAT WEBSITE SPREAD DECEITS, CONFUSION AND FOLLIES inasmuch as they are sure that THEIR God works (none other than Satan).
Bro Eli, Amen! to this article, and To GOD Be The Glory Forever!!!and may the good GOD continually use you to spread HIS hope to the hopeless. the guy on the video thinks his smart, but for me he’s just some mouth talking nonsense…he does’nt deserve to be called human cause he does’nt believe in the almighty GOD. Thanks be to GOD, if the israelite are lucky cause they have Moises, we at this are blessed for HE THAT HAS NO NAME THEN, ARE GOING TO BE KNOWN WORLWIDE BY THE HELP OF HIS SON, because HE sent you. TO GOD BE THE GLORY ALWAYS!!!
Thanks to the great understanding God had given Bro.Eli..If not for his patience and real affection for the soul of other people, he will just let us believe in this deceitful revelations. Thanks to God for I believed that as long as there is one person like you…false teaching has no place in this world. My family and I pray that you reach more people, more places, more souls…
AMEN.. God can do heal amputees…
To S. Holttum,
Patience is a virtue. You are asking for ‘the evidence that He DOES heal amputess today?’. Wait until the hour, which only the Father knows.
Matthew 24:36 But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only.
When that comes:
1 Corinthians 15:52 In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.
Notice, when WE shall all be changed. Don’t you think the WE, who shall be changed. will not include amputees?
Better change your views now before it’s too late. Only of course, if you want to be together with WE.
To Chad,
What Bro Eli gave was a reasoned reply in itself already. You are not just getting it.
Why would apology be needed?
These statements are not meant to hatefully devalue others but merely to dispute their baseless statements. And certainly, these are not blank, but based from the bible and science itself.
The problem with athiests is that, their views prove to be ungrateful and thankless.
all i can say is AMEN!!! those who do not believed in God, the time will come you will oblige to believed…(Proverbs 1:23-30) thats all..

So only the parts of the Bible which support your faith are allowed to be cited? No one is allowed to disagree with you, and use the disgusting, vile, hateful book you quote to show you your delusion?
Quite typical arrogant christian behaviour.
To Phillip Corbett,
If no one is allowed to disagree with us, your reply would not have been moderated to be posted in this site in the first place.
How do you know of the right christian behaviour for you to judge us of a quite typical arrogant christian behaviour?
Here is what christians do:
Ephesians 6:12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.
You can site whatever verse you like. But for you to give your own interpretation to and ridicule them, then that is another case.
[...] The Truth is, God Can Heal Amputess The Amputated Arguments of Some Imaginary Smarts [...]
An amputee Christian will not pray to God to grow him another leg! A True Christian will ardently pray that God guides his path even if his leg gone, he will not fall in one way or another in terms of following the commandments, up to the coming back of Jesus Christ and be rewarded of the promise, an uncorruptible body.
Let us not rebut here the way we do it in college just to prove a point. In college, we do not care whether we lie making sure that we have a basis of a lie and can present it as the truth. Because after all, it is just a lie used in just a game of debate.
Let us debate the Christian way, always taking into consideration the soul of those who are listening/reading.
I John 4:1 Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world.
Without this attitude of concern, no wonder why atheists speak foolishly, they have nothing to lose. Their beliefs and ideology are strongholds that is easily pulled by the mighty through God!
II Corinthians 10:2-4
King James Version
2 But I beseech you, that I may not be bold when I am present with that confidence, wherewith I think to be bold against some, which think of us as if we walked according to the flesh.
3 For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war after the flesh:
4 (For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strongholds; )
Without this attitude of concern, no wonder why atheists speak foolishly, they have nothing to lose
Show me Bro Eli. Your response substantiates nothing. You can throw scripture out there, but you haven’t proven anything. As a matter of fact, most Christians reading this response, won’t even read through the criticism I’m writing or take the time to find truth because I’m not on your side. I know this because I was a Christian. I know…you are probably saying I wasn’t a true Christian, or a good Christian, or I just didn’t have enough faith. And guess what…you would be wrong. I served in the church, had an incredible born again, spirit filled experience, did missions, was a youth leader and sacrificed much of my own purpose for the purpose of the church and god. It was the fear of truth of believers in the church that led me to see the incredible hypocrisy and judgment that man is capable of. My choice to walk away had to do with man, not god. After serving god with “BLIND FAITH” for the majority of my life, I decided it was ok to ask god the harder questions, and challenge my beliefs. That if god is real, he won’t mind because it will only ground me further in what I believe. You can not discredit truth. The purpose of science is to find truth. Science is a self correcting system. Once a theory is developed and a proof to that theory is found, scientists welcome other scientists to prove them wrong in the same hope of always finding truth. If only the church would do the same with an open mind. Guess what…scientists, logical thinkers, FREE thinkers have the right to question whatever they want including scripture. Why are Christians afraid of this? If you felt grounded in what you believe, you wouldn’t try to protect scripture or the bible from critique, you would welcome it knowing that “gods word” can protect itself. Wouldn’t you rather know if there are flaws in the religion you choose to live your life by?
Listen to you all! “God CAN heal amputees!” How do you know? Given that ‘he’ never does it, nor ever will, it seem?
It’s pretty simple. The Bible promises people powers, through prayer, which just don’t exist. No matter how much a devout believer amputee might pray, he will not get a leg grown back on. Contrary to what the Bible promises….
Just face it, the most obvious explanation of this is that the all loving, seeing god you want to believe in just isn’t there!
Well, a bad, sad experiences from the way hypocrites see Christianity in themselves does not necessarily mean that Christianity has flows.
I do not think that you are just a critique of the Word, but rather the way you explain yourself implies strong doubt of the Truth in the bible.
A blank slate is never a problem per se, unless you have adulterated it the way you use a computer: garbage in, garbage out.
God knows your heart and will help you to know Him more if you still have the faith and the heart to continue searching for Him.
The point that you’re missing in rebuking the atheists for using Biblical verses to discuss the existence of your god is that YOU believe that they are the infallible, divinely inspired word of your lord and creator. With that assumption already made on your side it is necessary for someone who is intellectually honest to piont out the blatant contradictions and abject cruelty which pervade this, your most holy book.
I will not doubt the kindness of God. I believe that He has given everyman a chance to know Him, be it through His creation, and through the bible. My love for Him grew stronger the moment I learned that God placed his GRACE in the hearts of everyman - even myself, even before my parents were born.
And the GRACE grew stronger in people like me, who learned to discover that “GRACE” in our hearts, the moment we learned to forgive, the moment we learned to have faith in Him.
I will not expect more from you “comment post 24.” Why? If you can’t see God in his creations and if you can’t see God from His words in the Bible, how much more can you see Him in your heart?
The way I read your comments hulttum, chad, corbett, halle, and lex, gives me the impression that you are only pretending that you dont believe in GOD. You seem to know some verses in the bible and in fact mentioned them. Your disgust for GOD and the bible if it is true must have been due to your exposure to the false Christian churches, whose leaders are themselves ignorant or are also purposely interpreting the bible incorrectly. You are in the right direction for interacting with Bro Eli. The matter of GOD’S healing the amputees are manifested spiritually as mentioned by Bro Eli when the children of GOD will be changed from a corruptible into a non-corruptible body. On the physical human form of the amputees, the gift of healing, the resurrecting of the dead and the other miracles were no longer given to men after JESUS CHRIST
But thru faith and belief in the one true GOD many amputees and disabled persons all around the world are visible proofs that instead of becoming helpless, many of them became success-stories of amazing feats in sports, painting, arts, and many endeavors were they surpassed the accomplishments of normal people, this is a way of healing. Open your eyes friends and you will see many of them just near you gratefully thanking GOD everyday. Dont stop visiting Bro Eli’s blog, even if at the first time I read your comments, I was tempted to challenge you, now I pity all of you and I pray that before its too late, GOD will give you the gift to understand HIM and the TRUTH thru HIS bold, vocal, and frank Preacher and Messenger, Bro Eli. HONOR AND PRAISE BE TO THE ONE AND ALMIGHTY GOD.
Do we NEED to see a growing limbs in order for us to believe that there is God who created human being? The matter you are alive when you amputeed in war is a great chance to give thanks to God. You have your temporary life to live in this temporary world.
Glory be to God who created the universe.
Pity on them to those who do not believe in God.
In flaming fire taking vengeance on them that know not God, and that obey not the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ:
II Thessalonians 1:8
King James Version
Who shall be punished with everlasting destruction from the presence of the Lord, and from the glory of his power;
II Thessalonians 1:9
King James Version
To 20 elmantheman:
nothing to lose? are you sure? i think not, my brother. because of saying thing againts GOD and Jesus, those unbelievers of GOD and Jesus are losing their logic, sense of reasoning, righteousness, dignity, pride, time, mind, hope, courage, safety, love, piety, self-control, charity, faith, truth, justice, fortitude, kindness, mercy, selflessness, generosity, patience, humility, diligence and of course, their SALVATION! Poor fellows, when will they ever learn? If they are already burning in hell? If possible, they should not. SO WAKE UP!!!!!!! Believe HIM and his SON!!!! baka-tachi!!!
Preach to those who are willing to listen. I say if they don’t wan’t it, then let them be. There are already clear answers to these questions that they are asking off. And if they want more, then they should turn to the Bible and meditate on it day and night. For their question is regarding God, so they can only find it’s answer in God’s word.
The Bible is more than enough to answer all you’re worries regarding faith. Don’t just ask “Why don’t God do this or that?” or “Why do a lot of christians doing this and that? and then fomulate intelligent answers with fellow men that are corruptible. Our salvation is not spoon fed. If you want it you must work hard for it. Don’t rely on others to tell you what to do. It is not the preacher that you have listned to or religion that you have followed that will matter when time comes. It will be you’re relationship with God and on how you have followed his will.
Don’t use you’re clever thoughts and worldly wisdom as an excuse to free you’re selves from God’s Law.
In the end, i think the only purpose of those question are not to look for answers but to look for people that would agrree with them. It is their way of convincing themselves that, what they are doing is right and not be subjectable to God’s authority. And at the same time creating chaos to those that opose them, by twisting words and using their so called intelligence, in order to continue on doing what they do.
The answers to the those questions are quite simple, if you are really trying to find it.
If you’re looking for a medicine where do you think you can find it? If you’re looking for things to repair you’re house, where do you think you should go?
Allas, that is all. I tried really hard to control myself not to criticize people, but the persistant excuses that they are blabbering on and on. Eventhough the answers are already in their face (Well sort of. You just need to look into some of the comments. But the answers are there, taken from the Bible). It’s right to ask questions but if the answers are already there and you’re just ignoring it, then it is no use in reasoning with you. You’re just looking for chaos.
The greatest gift that God gave us is our own free will.
He doesn’t want to force anybody to follow him, it’s gonna be up to us.
Preach to those who are willing to listen. ^_^
I don’t get it. How does this prove that God can make an amputees body part grow back again?
In response to those who argue that God does cannot heal an amputee is a very interesting topic. I have read through the postings on this and other websites, and I have a few questions for you. Have you ever seen anyone healed of any medical condition? I have personally seen healings in many people through prayer and faith in Jesus Christ. I know you may be saying, yeah, here goes another one of those snake handlers, but really -GOD CAN HEAL ANYONE. You may ask, well why doesn’t He heal those with amputations, or why does He allow bad things to happen, if He is a loving and caring God?
God allows suffering because it teaches us that without God we would have no strength. He is our burden bearer. Suffering humbles, making us realize that it is only God who lifts us up. The pain of this world increases our faith and stretches our hope to God. In many cases He even uses suffering to turn towards Himself the eyes of those who would otherwise never see the light of His love.
You may completely disregard my answer, saying that is a typical Christian response, but the very reason of my faith. There is no man that knows the totality of God, but life itself teaches us of Him. If you have ever watched the birth of a child, you see something made of nothing. Just because mankind has been corrupted by turning from God, even some Christians hypocritical, that does not mean Jesus Christ isn’t real. Search for yourself, for TRUTH, not just facts, but TRUTH. Just pray to God that if He real that He would reveal Himself to you.
I found a few passages on Jesus’ healings in the Bible.
He healed the nobleman’s son at Cana (John 4:46-54); He healed the lame man at the pool of Bethesda (John 5:1-9); He healed Peter’s mother-in-law (Matthew 8:14-15; Mark 1:29-31; Luke 4:38-39); He cleansed a leper (Matthew 8:2-4; Mark 1:40-45; Luke 5:12-16); He healed a centurion’s servant (Matthew 8:5-13; Luke 7:1-10); He healed a blind and mute demonic (Matthew 12:22; Luke 11:14); He healed the woman with an issue of blood (Matthew 9:20-22; Mark 5:25-34; Luke 8:43-48); He raised Jairus’ daughter (Matthew 9:18-19,23-26; Mark 5:22-24,35-43; Luke 8:41-42,49-56); and He restored Malchus’s ear (Luke 22:49-51; John 18:10).
