wow .. after all thats said and done, after all that God has shown and made, you’d still find people looking for ways to bend the facts looking for ways to erase the truth , looking for excuses .. this is so frustrating

sometimes people tend to project that they know more than others and this person clearly showed such. however, soberness in the part of brother eli was the main weapon to quash that impertinent notion – he clearly explained on various aspects – medical, physical and spiritual, the answers that this person needs in order to negate his query. the way i see it, he knows that his ideas are null and void and what he is trying to bait are sensible answers from a sensible man, without anger and fear to expose everything in any way just to bring home a wayward soul to forgiveness and spiritual safety. i firmly believe that this person is searching for the right answers and hopefully, he got it. sometimes, we already know the answers before we try to ask – what we really want to hear really are sensible answers from respected individuals, a person with integrity and persistence, a person that will describe a black as black and a white as white – no more, no less. Friend, come aboard and experience the whole new meaning of religion. to Brother Eli, I thank you so much for enlightening me more and giving a fresher meaning of LOVING THY NEIGHBOR. Thanks be to GOD.

when Jesus was here, He could’ve blown the Pharisees out of their jobs in debates, but was that what He did? No. And even when His detractors came unto Him, He spoke no words of hate, of malice, of derogation. He answered with logical answers, based on Scripture, spoken with love and respect. And His opponents slunk out in defeat everytime. If we follow His example, instead of lashing out in uncontrolled passion such as the old Peter, who cut off a soldier’s ear in an attempt to defend Jesus, then Mr./Ms. Ribbon, we would have peace.

hi… just going to put in my two cents worth. while i am definitely not an atheist, and i believe the word of God 100%, i do not agree with the way you defend our Savior. by challenging the intelligence of your opponents, you are stooping to their level. you are obviously going to incur harsher feelings from them. the word of God says, “a gentle answer turns away wrath.” if we should correct others, let us do so in meekness and in love. i believe that calling a man “baldheaded” and telling him to “go to hell” will neither soften his heart, nor inspire him to believe in Christ. if we are truly professing to be the children of God, let us mirror His actions, His speech.

Consider the following verses:
Galatians 6:1 Brethren, if a man be overtaken in a fault, ye which are spiritual, restore such an one in the spirit of meekness; considering thyself, lest thou also be tempted.

2 Timothy 2:24-25 And the servant of the Lord must not strive; but be gentle unto all men, apt to teach, patient, In meekness instructing those that oppose themselves; if God peradventure will give them repentance to the acknowledging of the truth;
